With what's out there, it's decent

So I have never reviewed anything before, but here is my thought on the zooper tango. I have two kids, 18 months apart and wanted a double, side by side, that would hold a car seat on one side. In terms of maneuverability, it is very good, spin radius is great (ie. in the isle at the pharmacy, I turned without knocking anything over). The side by side that fits in a regular doorway is great, and rare. The downside is that the accessories are CHEAP (the rain cover ripped right away, the boot is not made for feet that go further than the edge of the stroller, ie. a toddler cannot use it). Also the basket is inaccessible, so even though it's big, it's useless if you can't get anything in or out!
br /
br /All in all, it is good compared to other double strollers out there, but don't expect the price to reflect the quality.
Zooper's response to latch issue

I currently own the Zooper Waltz, and, expecting baby #2, looked into Zooper's options for double strollers. While I love the features such as compatibility with our Graco car seat and other features that I love on my single Zooper, I was greatly concerned about some reviews I read about the latch coming undone when you hit a bump in the road, and the stroller actually folding up on itself. I contacted Zooper directly concerning this problem, and this is the response I got:
br /
br /"Thank you for contacting Zooper. The frame unlocking has been a problem with the stroller this year [2008] especially when hitting large bumps and when the stroller is fully loaded. Some of the reviews are wrong and people just have not made sure that the frame was properly locked into place before starting their stroll. But, for some there was found to be an issue with the stroller frame. Most of these cases are from the strollers that were produced at the beginning of the year and we have since made improvements to the frame and are seeing less and less issues. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
br /Thank you,
br /Zooper"
br /
br /I just wanted to pass this along, since a bad review like that would deter most people from buying an otherwise good stroller. Based on Zooper's response, you'd probably want to make sure before you purchased this stroller that you weren't getting old stock.
Cannot go over bumps

I am very disappointed after buying this stroller.
br /
br /Biggest problem: The wheels are vastly undersized. Everytime we come to a slightly uneven sidewalk, the front wheels cannot clear the bump and the back of the stroller lifts up and my kids do a whiplash move. And if I want to step on the rear axle for leverage to tilt up the front wheels, the undersized axle bends. Forget trying to get up a driveway curb or going over grass to the park.
br /
br /The storage basket is inaccessible because the frame goes right over it.
br /
br /The plastic locks on the seatbelts have pinched my fingers numerous times trying to get them closed, they are very hard to operate.
br /
br /Opening up this stroller from a folded position is extremely cumbersome.
br /
br /The sunshades are marketed as "huge", and they are nice and big, but not big enough. The pictures show how you can effectively cover the whole seat with the shade. But they don't show that you CANNOT do this while the seat is reclined, they don't reach far enough. And when is the only time you ever want to really cover your child completely in the stroller? When they are sleeping and reclined!
br /
br /The only upsides are:
br /It is nice looking
br /Kids can easily get in and out without bothering each other
br /It turns nicely
br /Kids can recline or sit up independently of each other.

This is a superb stroller. It is lightweight, yet the sturdy wheels make for a very smooth ride. The large sunshades provide excellent coverage, and the UV blanket (included in the price) helps cover the "windows" on top. We fit our GracoSnugride carseat on one side, but our four month old is equally comfortable just sitting in the stroller. The straps are easy to buckle and sturdy. There is a huge basket underneath. The blue color is really beautiful. To earn five stars, I'd love another adult cupholder. But this is a great purchase ... and I did tons of research!
Not worth the money

This stroller is not worth the money at all. The cup holder gets in the way everytime you go through a doorway. Every time I take my children for a walk, if there is a crack in the side walk..the stroller will make a sudden stop while Im jerked into the stroller. Not only that, if I have to lift the stroller up with my foot on a bar (since it won't go up curbs by just pushing it) the lock to collapes the stroller unlocks.
br /Over all.. it is nice looking ... but that is it. Very bulky stroller. Just fits my suv....
NOT compatible with Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP after 2005!

Just received this item in anticipation of my second child's arrival later on this year. I searched high and low for a double that was compatible with my Primo Viaggio SIP infant seat and this was my choice. It should be noted that several different websites that sold this stroller stated that it was compatible with my car seat.
br /
br /Upon receipt, I put the stroller together (basically just putting the wheels on, really), which was very easy. It folds and opens easily and similar to my Pliko P3 single stroller. I'm very happy with the size and accessories.
br /
br /Unfortunately, when I tried to test out the infant seat on it, it was clear there was an issue. I assumed I was doing something wrong- after all, several different websites had told me my seat was compatible, right? I googled and didn't find anything online, so I went right to Zooper's site and emailed them with my question. To their credit, a half hour later (and 8pm EST), I had a response. Great response time, so thanks, Zooper!
br /
br /Unfortunately again, the response was that while the Tango Double is compatible with the Primo Viaggio, it is only versions from 2005 and earlier. Now, I am still keeping this stroller because the pros outweigh the cons for me now that I have it, but I don't know that I would have gone for it at the price it is if I knew it was not going to be compatible with my seat. So, for anyone out there wondering, unless you have an OLD Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP seat, this stroller will NOT be compatible.

My husband and I spend a lot of time researching double strollers before we decided on the Zooper Tango for our 11 month old and our newborn. We knew we wanted a double stroller that would accommodate an infant seat and that would grow with our 2 boys. The Tango fit the bill. It maneuvers wonderfully, and I can get it in and out of our SUV by myself. While it is a little big, it is not nearly as bulky as the tandem strollers on the market, and the price is more reasonable than most of the other brands. This stroller comes with so many features to make both parents and children safe and comfortable. My only complaint is that it's been tricky to open, but we've only used it twice so far. Other reviews said this "problem" goes away with more frequent use. It's great to have front wheels that swivel or lock into place. The color is super cool. We are thrilled with this stroller.

This stroller is for a girl. I was completely surprised when it showed up with PINK piping on it, which does not show up in photos. Even further misdleading is that as of the date of this review, on the Zooper website, they have a page that shows a little boy leaning over a wheat colored Zooper. It's a beautiful stroller with lots of features, but it's not for a boy.
