After walking the National Mall in the pouring rain, pushing the stroller, and holding an umbrella, I decided to get this umbrella with the Baby Jogger umbrella holder. It was a great purchase! The umbrella is very large - big enough for both my husband and myself to walk underneath if we want to. It is great at sunny events, too. I'm fair skinned and have sensitive eyes to the sun. I used the umbrella at an outdoor festival last weekend, and it made the time much more fun. Not only do I now carry my own rain protection but I also carry my own shade! If you get this, you might feel slightly silly using it at first since you'll probably be the only person you know using anything like it, but it's well worth the stares from strangers (you'll get over feeling silly, too)!

Agreed with the previous reviewer - my husband and I can both walk comfortably under this umbrella and stay completely dry. I bought in conjunction with the Baby Jogger umbrella holder and I am delighted with the purchase. It stays in the holder securely and covers both my myself and (most of) the stroller - it doesn't eliminate the need for a rain/sun cover, but it helps.
