The best jogging, mall, travelling etc stroller!

Here is the summary of the reviews that I read on many websites and everyone seems to agree:
br /
br /-"It looks great and I get tons of compliments."
br /- "it is as close as you can get to an all in one stroller!"
br /- it's a great jogging, mall, walking etc stroller
br /- it is not too big.
br /- but it is not too small (like a mall stroller that is usually is too light and good for a baby, but not very good and stable for a toddler).
br /- it folds up easy, but it doesn't stand up while folded which is ok if you have enough space in your garage or house to store it.
br /- it takes 2 steps to fold it and a little strength to unfold (you kind of have to throw it).
br /- The suspension makes the roughest terrain smooth.
br /- "We take it everywhere from outdoors to the mall. It's so smooth and turns on a dime. I recommend the beverage holder as well...it's really handy."
br /
br /"Parents looking for a slightly lighter Revolution with a more compact fold (but less jogging potential) should check out the BOB Revolution 12" AW, with three 12" aluminum wheels instead of 16" rear wheels. If you have two kids, or like having plenty of extra room, take a peek at the two seater BOB Revolution Duallie double stroller, which is also car seat compatible."
br /
br /
br / Infant Car Seat Compatibility
br /
br /# Fits Britax Companion
br /# Fits Graco Infant Safe Seat (Step 1)
br /# Fits Graco Snugride
br /# Fits Peg Perego Primo Viaggio
br /
br /Car seat recommendations: Graco because it fits in almost every stroller/car seat adapter (Combi for example doesn't fit in BOB stroller). Graco SnugRide is the most recommended because it's light (usually about 7 lbs off the base) and it's not big and will fit into the shopping cart also. Graco SafeSeat is good too but it's heavier and much bigger (longer). Yes, SafeSeat model fits larger babies and you probably can use it for longer than SnugRide, but would you want to carry a 30 pound baby (+ 9 lbs car seat) around? Probably not. So I suggest use SnugRide till baby is 22 lbs (your baby should be about 7-12 months old, each baby is different) and then switch to a convertible or toddler seat which hold a baby from 22 lbs up to about 60 lbs. You can put your 6 months old baby directly into the stroller without the car seat. Snuzzler will make your baby very comfortable and happy too :)
br /
br /
br /Changes to the BOB Revolution for 2007:
br /*New colors
br /*Increased seat recline to 70 degrees off vertical
br /*More seat padding
br /
br /Recommended extras (all have no less than 4.5 star reviews):
br /* infant car seat adapter (look for one with tray)
br /* Snuzzler (Kiddopotamus Co Snuzzler Complete Head And Body Support For Any Seat)
br /* handlebar console
br /* weather shield revolution (if it rains or snows often when you have your baby).
br /* If you plan to travel often also get the "BOB Stroller Travel Bag Black"
br /
br /"Bottom Line: The BOB Revolution strikes the ideal balance between a walking stroller and a jogging stroller. It weighs a bit more and has less storage than most travel system strollers, but good luck taking one of them out for a jog - or even over some dirt trails. With the Revolution, you can manage any terrain with total ease, and it has a one-of-a-kind adjustable tracking system for jogging. Altogether, you have one of the best all-purpose strollers ever produced."

We have the 2004 BOB and we wished then that our Car seat would have fit on it, now they have that feature. This is the best stroller I have ever used jogging or walking in the mall. The swivel front wheel is a must. Anyone that says its lacking in storage has to remember that it is a jogging stroller and not a mall stroller. Well worth the price tag.

Bob could have charged a lot more for this stroller. If it were to follow suit with Stokke and Bugaboo. We bought a Bugaboo for the styling and features for infants. Didn't think a jogging stroller was appropriate for us, but its not JUST a jogging stroller. With the infant car seat adapter, you can get through those few months when a pram-style stroller is handy. The BOB is a well made, easy to fold, all-terrain machine! I absolutely hated the Bugaboo. Fold with one hand? No way. Couldn't take that thing apart with 2 hands without cursing for several months. Fit things in the bottom basket while reclined, no. Sleek industrial design? Um, no. Not to mention, is embarrassing to spend that kind of money on a stroller for no good reason. BUT the BOB is a dream. Good value, good looking and performs.

Got this stroller pretty quickly from the seller back in December. Very nice, and quite solid. Our daughter loves it. It's clearly an example of "you get what you pay for".

My only complaint. I wish the basket underneath could be a little deeper. But overall, an excellent stroller.

I bought a 2006 BOB Revolution. I live in a very small town with dirt/gravel/and brick roads. It is so smooth, my baby doesn't even notice and neither do I. I love this thing so much. It folds up easier than my Chicco.

This stroller is amazing. It is exceptionally well designed and works like a champ. We got rid of our other stroller and use this exclusively. It can zip in and out of shopping aisles and we use it to run 5 miles everyday. It collapses in less than 5 seconds and be put together in a single flick of the wrist and fits perfectly in our sedan trunk. The optional cup holder is great and so is the diaper bag. I find reasons to take the kid out in the stroller!

We have had our "BOB" for almost 4 months, and absolutely love it. It assembled easily (if you call removing the packing material and popping the wheels on "assembly"), folds easily, rolls smoothly, turns effortlessly, and most importantly, our 19-month-old is comfortable and securely strapped in. We also got the handlebar console at the same time, and highly recommend that too.

We really like this stroller. It is all we have used for our 2nd baby. We bought the car seat adapter and used that in the beginning and now he sits in the regular stroller with the sheepkin (also by BOB). It is very sturdy and has shock aborbers on it. It is also rated for more weight than most other strollers. The canopy really covers well too. The basket is a little hard to get into with the seat fully reclined. Also the seat does not recline very far for small babies. It takes up a fair amount of room in the back of our Honda Odessy. Also, a clip or tie would be nice to have when getting the stroller in and out of the car - sometimes it comes open when doing this (you can use a velcro strap).

The Bob strollers are the best thing on the market for a new family. We found that spending a few extra bucks saved us the hasle of dealing with a cheap plastic product that is only useful for slow walking in the mall. The BOB stroller is lightweight, easy to fold up, and does not take up much room. I take this every where, grocery, running, shopping of all sorts. Easy to manuver through any clothing store such as Target and Marshals that have narrow isles. And the bonus is since the quality is so good it will last through many kids to come and many years.
Again, worth the extra money, you will be very pleased.

I had a BOB sport utility stroller when my youngest child was a baby and I thought that was great. However, I thought I was done with strollers but now that I am expecting again I looked into getting a durable stroller that was functional and manageable...I considered the Stokke and Bugaboo Frog but wasn't really thrilled with how flimsy they looked. So I went with a product I knew to be top quality. While I am waiting for my baby to arrive I am able to trek around with my 4 year old. It handles so well that you would hardly know that there is a child in it. It turns on a dime!!! And should I get back into jogging after my baby arrives, the front wheel can be locked to make it function like a traditional jogger. And really for a jogging stroller it folds rather compactly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a friend

I've only had this stroller for a short time, but I like it very much. It's very sturdy and I feel my baby is extremely safe in it. Not the least bit flimsy. It goes on the road and rough terrain very well. It turns very easy and takes no effort to push. Good for speed walking or running. We have a "true" jogger, but my husband prefers this one over it. I like this one better too...I find the joggers awkward. It is a bit big, so not ideal for the stores, but it'll still work. I've brought it to the mall with no problem...it's just not great for smaller spaces like a restaurant. Overall, it's a great stroller and I highly recommend it.

I bought this stroller a few months ago for my 17 month old and I am very happy with the purchase.
br /
br /PROS: 1) It rides soooo smoothly, gliding over the bumps in our sidewalks. (I tried my friend's Bugaboo stroller and it didn't handle nearly as well.)
br / 2) Other high end strollers are around $1,000. I think this is a steal at this price.
br / 3) The sunshade is great and I love the "window" at the top so I can see my son. (I love the colors as well.)
br / 4) It is easy to steer with one hand so you can drink from a water bottle and walk or talk on a cell phone and walk.
br /
br /CONS: 1) It's a huge stroller and it doesn't fold very compactly.
br / 2) The basket is incredibly small and very hard to get to.
br / 3) The back support for the child isn't firm so the child sits slouched in the stroller. (My son doesn't seem to mind this but I wonder if it's healthy for him to be in this position very long.)
br / 4) Some of the newer and expensive brands of strollers allow the child to face you or face out and also sit higher (more at the parent's eye level). The BOB only has the option of the child facing out. Again, my son doesn't mind this but he is older.
br /
br /Overall it's a great stroller. We just use a smaller umbrella stroller for traveling.
br /

Best overall stroller out there and worth the price!!!

My wife was hessitant at first of buying the BOB, but once she got both her and our (1 year old) daughter were more than pleased with it. Its very well made, folds up very easily for storage and has an extremely smooth ride. Some people complain that it is too heavy or too difficult to store but the wheels all come off pretty easily if you need to store it in a tight place. Someone in a review I read complain that their child choked on the "red rings" used to tighten the shoulder straps. If the followed the directions and used a little common sense they would have easily seen that they could hide the red rings within the shoulder straps and their child would have never found them. That was one thing my wife was very scared of happening until she saw the stroller in person.
br /
br /The BOB stroller also provides much better shade coverage than many of the more expensive cheaper strollers.
br /
br /Overall this is a FANTASIC stroller worth every penny.
br /
br /Put it on your BABY REGISTRY. YOU AND YOUR CHILD WILL LOVE IT. OURS DOES!!!!

We love the BOB. We take it everywhere. It is a little big, but it is a jogging stroller (though I consider it more of a all-terrain stroller.) We drive a little honda civic and it fits perfectly in our trunk. And if we need to fit more with it the wheels pop off and on VERY easily. We live downtown Savannah and the sidewalks are very uneven and rocky. The BOB is perfect. You can literally push and turn this stroller with one finger. I will never buy another stroller. The BOB got higher ratings than even the strollers that cost $300 more. The BOB is worth every penny. We endorse it whole-heartedly.

Bob (yes, that's what we call him) is our only stroller, and we have been using him since we brought our now 5 month-old little boy home. We got the carseat adapter and it has worked really well. At around 3 months or so, we started putting our baby in the regular part of the stroller, too, (with a Snuzzler) and he always seems very comfy. It maneuvers really well, isn't TOO bad to get in and out of the trunk, and feels very sturdy. We consider it an excellent purchase and would highly recommend it. I haven't done much jogging with it yet, but it rides very smoothly, it's great for fast, long walks, and for running errands.

We bought Bob for our 10 month old daughter a few months ago, and we absolutely love the thing. We bought the warm and fussy seat insert also, which comes in handy because we live in Iceland. We also got the rain cover which is very useful also given our location! It is such a smooth ride and great to jog with... and she is so happy to ride in it and is obviously very confertable. She can easily take naps in it. We traveled with it to the beach in Spain and it was great in the sun also, since it protects so well for the sun and we could fit the beach towels underneath! I also recomend to buy the suitcase for it, for those who plan to travel with the stroller.
br /
br /All in all, one of the things we have been most happy with buying for our baby girl.

We love this stroller. We have two different strollers, this and another and this is by far the better of the two. It is a little big and cumbersome when it is folded up but the handling more than makes up for that. It is easy to steer, easy to push, the ride is smooth, it is easy to take the wheels off for storage, it is easy to fold, it was easy to use with the car seat adapter...what more can I say? We have been really satisfied with this stroller. The only thing we don't love about it is that the seat is in a constant state of recline-it cannot be put into a full upright position, but our son does not seem to mind too much.

My cousin told me to buy this stroller and did all the research for me so I just bought it online. It is so smooth and works great for what I bought it for....going to Central Park. THE ONLY thing I didnt realize is how big it is! I do see other jogger strollers around which are much more compact. However, I know this is a stroller my 10 month old could use til he is six!!! It rides great, and is super easy to collapse. I am glad I bought it.

I bought this stroller awhile back, and at first felt a little bad for spending that much on a stroller. But, I broke down and finally bought it...and I do NOT regret it! The recline is 70 degrees, which is good for infants, and the ride is very smooth. she doesn't even notice when we're walking on bumpy grass! I would recommend this to anyone!

Now this is a great stroller! I bought mine for Stroller Strides but I also use it for walks through the neighborhood, etc. I had a more basic jogging stroller originally but it just didn't feel very solid for the type of workout I was doing. This stroller has everything I need and is super comfy for my little 5 month old son. Of course I bought the warm fuzzy to go along for extra padding and warmth. This is a serious exercise stroller but folds up perfectly for when you are on the go too. You will love this stroller! It's built to last and the colors are even better in person. Worth the investment. I'm so spoiled by it that I don't even want to use my other strollers. Make sure you get the single console as well to hold your water and smaller items.

I love this stroller. I had a McLarren before and hated it. Going over grass was a major ordeal and my daughter just screamed to get out of it the whole time. Now I go on LONG walks over all kinds of terrain and she loves it. She actually cried when I took her out of it the first ride. Buy this stroller! It is definitely worth the money!

We have used our "Bob" since our son was born - for the first 8 weeks we used it with a car seat adapter. It is a fantastic stroller! We've taken it over really bumpy trails with lots of roots and uneven ground, on the paved sidewalks in our neighborhood, and through shopping malls. It's incredibly easy to maneuver, and pretty light considering how rugged it is. We have even taken it through 3 inches of wet snow. Fantastic product - can't say enough good things about it!

Best stroller yet. I have three kids, two under the age of four, and have bought way too many strollers. This is not the most expensive stroller I have purchased, but to date it has the best build quality, rolling characteristics, and ease of opening and closing. It is larger than the four wheel umbrella types and some others when folded up, that is what you get with a jogging style three wheeler. If this were lost I would immediately replace it. Keep those umbrella strollers for the occasional dash to the supermarket, but for your intentional longer walks, trips through the shopping mall or just strolling, this is the one we prefer.

This stroller is great. We needed a stroller that we could use for our daily walks around our neighborhood that could handle different terrain, yet be easily portable to use in the city and shopping. This works perfectly. We bought it when our daughter was 3 months old and purchased the infant car seat adapter. It fits our Graco Safeseat great. The suncover is huge and steering it is a dream. The tires can handle any surface so far and I feel safe in uneven surfaces. It was a cinch to assemble...took my husband about 5 minutes. The only negatives I can think of is the price...for that price it should at least come with the drink holder! But, so far...it's all worth it!

If I could give this stroller 10 stars I would!
br /I absolutely LOVE IT!!! It's the only stroller we have this time around with our second daughter and it's a dream. It turns so easily! I can turn sharp corners in a store or mall with one hand.
br /It's great for hiking. The tires are good for all terrains from pavement to mud and even a little sand. The front wheel locks and is great for running. It's a fantastic stroller all around.
br /If I had to complain, the storage is a real bummer. The compartment underneath is super tiny. So we got the BOB Diaper bag and that worked out great. It just attaches to the handlebar.
br /We also purchased the infant car seat adapter and that is fantastic and easy to use as well. We got the cup holder attachment too. It's ok. I wouldn't recommend it for a hot cup of coffee. But works great for water bottles, cell phones, keys, etc.
br /The whole BOB line is just fantastic, Really!!
br /With our first daughter we had got a different jogging stroller, a Graco I think and it was just sooooo hard to steer and the front wheel didn't swivel and it was a nightmare to pack up cause it was so heavy. We ended up only using it once in awhile and had a regular Graco Travel System stroller that we used most of the time instead. So this time around with the second baby I knew exactly what I wanted in a jogging stroller and the BOB Revolution delivered all my wishes and then some! It's easy to fold up and not too heavy and fits perfectly inside my Toyota Prius.
br /Oh and one more thing. I looked on Craigslist to see if I could find a used one for sale instead of buying one new and all I could find on Craigslist were listings of people LOOKING to buy used BOB Revolutions. Some paying as much as 275 for a used one. Knowing that I can sell this later on down the road for a good amount of money helped me to choke up the 360 it cost to buy this stroller.
br /It's money WELL WELL spent!
br /I know I ramble but I really love this stroller and I hope my review helps someone =D

Our son is 11 weeks old and he loves going for long walks. This is the best stroller out there. We have a large dog and it's the only stroller that I have ever used that you only need one hand to push and turn freely which is great since I need my other hand free to hold the leash. We have taken this stroller over smooth paved roads, grass, dirt, rocks, mixed terrain, you name it we've done it and no matter what we are rolling over the ride is smooth for our son. We also love that the height of the handlebars are higher than most strollers so there is no leaning over to push the stroller. The canopy is huge it is the biggest one that I have ever seen on a stroller we never have to worry about the sun getting to his face and skin. The weather shield, the cozy insert and the cup holders are all must-haves to go along with the stroller. We will only be using BOB strollers in the future and they are the only stroller that I will recommend to my friends.

My wife and I were thinking of getting a stroller with the smaller medium size 4 front wheels. Since we live on a dirt road and love to walk in the park and on trails we thought we should look for something with bigger wheels.
br /
br /We are SO glad we got this stroller. Not only is it very smooth due to the air filled tubeless tires and rear shock absorber, but it turns on a dime. It glides on hard surfaces and rolls effortlessly on grass, sand or rocky paths. Because the tires are rubber air filled it doesn't make a sound on hard surfaces.
br /
br /We use the recommended car seat carrier with the optional mount...making the stroller good from infant to large toddler. Can also be converted to storage crate cart.
br /
br /It collapse very easily and if you need to remove one or more of the wheels, they come off with a twist of a lever. The front wheel can be locked in a straight line for jogging or quick walking. This stroller is a no-brainer.

This stroller is great! I've been using it since my daughter (now six months old) was born. I used it with our Britax car seat until she was five months, then I removed the car seat and sat her forward for our daily walks (I left the car seat adapter in place for now, she uses it as a footrest). The stroller has a smooth ride and handles rough sidewalks and dirt trails well. The canopy is also excellent for providing good shade for baby.

br /My only criticism would be that the stroller is large and heavy for taking in and out of the car, so I bought a McClaren stroller for trips around town and traveling. The Bob though, is perfect for any walking/hiking I do from home.
br /
br /Note that the tires can go flat like a bike tire if you run over something sharp. I put self-sealing tubes in and haven't had a problem since.

Just received my Revolution stroller and I love it! I'm a little bummed because I have to wait to use it because I'm not due until December. It is very easy to assemble and folds down easily. It is lightweight and glides like a dream. It was worth the price. We plan on using it for our main stroller. The accessories were easy to install just wish that at least the cup holders were included with the stroller. I recommend this stroller to anyone who wants to make a good investment.

Our child enjoys the suspension and the large sun canopy. We like how easy it is to push and maneuver around obstacles. We added the BOB Handlebar Console With Water Bottle Holders Black which is a must have. We previously had a Bugaboo Cameleon which was terrible to get in and out of the car and felt tippy when the kid leaned forward (in it's most upright position). This BOB is rock solid and folds simply. You will love this stroller!

I bought this for my daughter in law. Both she and my new granddaughter are enjoying the rides. Mom can jog and baby can see the world. The quality was great. Even a grandmother feels safe with this stroller. It manuvers really well with the pivoting front wheel.

I got this chocolate and pink Bob for Mother's Day and we love it! Our daughter is 10 months old, she loves to get buckled in her stoller. We can easily lie the back down if she falls asleep without waking her. The 5-point harness is snug, yet not confining. As the parent, it is easy to fold and unfold, I can pull it out of the back of my Yukon with child in hand, unfold it, lock the wheels and put her in without struggle. The push is amazing. So comfortable and fun. The front wheel locks for running and unlocks so it will swivel for an awesome ride! All-in-all, the best gift I have received thus far! Thanks, Brent!

honestly the best thing we have bought for our child. This stroller will go anywhere, folds up neatly, makes taking the child to a fair, running, even some light hiking, easy. It is expensive but worth every penny, we use ours all the time. Quality is TOP NOTCH. no problems whatsoever, extremely well made and engineered.

Best investment I've made in a long time!

Ok, so I know this stroller is on the more expensive side but it's totally worth the price. It's very well made and the extra large wheels go over grass, dirt, pinecones, rocks, sand...no problem. It also has shocks so for you with younger babies, you don't have to worry about their little heads getting jolted around. And if your like me and use it everday, having a stroller that you don't have to take off the front wheel and that folds relatively flat is awesome. It turns on a dime but has the option for you joggers to lock the front wheel. I'm a walker myself, although, aspire to jog again one day, so the swivel wheel is ideal. Oh and I almost forgot, I'm 5'8'' and the handel bar is at the perfect height for me. I don't have to bend over at all and because it's about the height of a door knob, I don't strain my forearm or wrist like in other strollers I've had. SUPER smooth ride! My son loves to ride in it and when I ask him if he wants to go in the stroller, he's running to the door. And for me the chocolate brown and blue are some of my favorite colors and not so boring like the red one.
br /I do have one complaint though. The storage basket underneath could be a bit bigger and could either have snaps or a bungee part so you can get things like backpacks in their easier. It does however have a bungee part on the back of the seat. BEST STROLLER I'VE EVER HAD!

We spent hours looking at strollers, opening and closing them, walking around...and this one is the best.
br /I have been using it for 3 months already and I love it. I'm a walker (not a jogger/runner) and it is great for uneven pavement (LA!). It rolls so smooth it just wants to go go go!
br /The well could be a little bigger but it holds just enough. We love the shade, it does block from all angles. It is a larger stroller, so I use a smaller stroller for the mall or busier places.

WOW! Perfect.

This thing was worth every penny. It is light years ahead of cheaper strollers. It is so easy to push over all types of terrain, grass, gravel, loose sand, it is unbelievable.

I was given this stoller by my mother in law and i absolutly love it. I walk daily three miles with our dog and this stoller is soooo easy to handle. Stoller glides over uneven surfaces - dirt, sand, gravel, etc that it is actually a pleasure to take the dog and my son out together Shocks and seat allow my son to sleep easly on ride. The canopy is awesome - very large - kept my son dry during an unexpected rain shower. Easy to take apart and place in back of car. My husband also loves to use stroller - this stoller does what the reviews say and i any very happy that i registered for it. Receive many positive comments from others that the stoller is good looking. Absolutly recommend this stoller to any busy parent who loves to be outside.

I usually wouldn't spend $300+ on a stroller, but some friends convinced me to give the BOB a try because the other stroller we were using had hard plastic wheels and wasn't great for using on any surface other than a smooth floor like at the mall. I don't have one bad thing to say about it! It handles like a dream, is easy to fold and put in the car, and I can steer it one-handed, unlike my other stroller. And let's not forget how cute it is! People stop us all the time and ask us where we got it. The canvas material of the seat seems very sturdy and like it will last a long time. The instructions are very thorough, which is both unusual and nice. We purchased the cupholder and carseat adapter accessories as well, and those are also high quality.

We just got back from travelling to Savannah, Hilton Head and Charleston with this stroller, and it performed like a champ. It's great for travelling to let your little one fall asleep in while waiting for planes and layovers, and it folds up very quickly for gate check - and it's very light. The shocks made it ride very smoothly over the cobblestone streets, and our 2 1/2 year old was able to sleep while being strolled over very bumpy streets, and he normally never sleeps in a stroller. The apparent comfort for him is amazing.
br /
br /All of the other reviews have discussed the nifty features, so we won't repeat them here. But they're all accurate. We replaced a very nice Kelty 16" Speedster stroller, and this Bob is way better and way more comfortable and lighter and nicer, etc. etc. - and the Kelty is a very high-end stroller. Bottom line - if you can afford it, get it, your little one will be in it for a few years and will appreciate it, and this type of stroller will always have good resale value - you should be able to sell it for 50% of its cost in a few years on craigslist.

Love it!

I researched jogging strollers for several weeks and kept coming back to the BOB Revolution. The reviews were all positive. I do not regret our purchase at all. I love it! My four month old precious baby loves it as well. He rides comfortably and usually falls asleep! He is very secure with the five-point harness system. The canopy is awesome. The BOB is so easy to push and it turns great. Looking forward to many years of use!

I can only say great things about this stroller. I wish I would have known about this one before we bought our Graco transportation system.
br /
br /This stroller is very easy to manuever, very well balanced, and takes less than half the effort of the Graco to move it. It is very easy to disassemble and reassemble.
br /
br /The 16 inch rear and 12 inch front tires allow me to go thru snow covered roads (not too deep of course) and give my little one an excellent ride. The stroller also has a set of shock absorbers that seem to do the job. They have approximately 1.5 inches of travel and two settings.
br /
br /The fabric is very heavy duty and the harness system keeps the little one in her place. As far as the red rings that one reviewer stated got into the baby's mouth; I have not had that problem. The rings themselves are made of metal and are very securely attached to the harness. I imagine it would be just a matter of a little tug to pull them out of a baby's mouth if that were to happen. On the safe side, I always take the extra straps (even on the car seat) and tuck them away or secure them with zip ties.
br /
br /I have bought several accessories for the stroller including the weather shield, sun / bug screen, cup holder, and diaper bag. All the items have worked perfectly without one problem.
br /
br /This stroller has allowed myself, baby, and our dog to enjoy the outdoors. The weather shield has been a great way to keep the little one warm on windy and colder days. When I pick her up out of the stroller at the end of our walk (2 miles) she has been a toasty muffin despite a lot of wind and temperatures of about 20 degress. Of course, she is dressed for the weather but the weather shield keeps the wind from hitting her, drying her skin, and cooling her down.
br /
br /By far, this is a great stroller. It is not necessarily recommended until approximately 9 months unless the car seat adapter is purchased. I had considered buying the Mountain Buggy Stroller but, this stroller was over $100.00 cheaper than a similar Mountain Buggy with all the extras. The Mountain Buggy also has all 12 inch wheels...probably not huge deal but for less money and better comfort I chose the BOB.

I spent the first 2 years of my sons life pushing around a graco stroller, which after about 3 months worth of walks the wheels were completely worn out and were always sticking. We bought a used bike trailer and loved the how easy it was to push. I decided to buy a jogging stroller, after reading way too many reviews decided a BOB was probably for me. I went to REI because they were offering a 20% off discount. I ended up with an even better deal by purchasing one of their returned strollers. Mine had a broken shock, which was fixed by holding the shock together with a larger hose clamp. The stroller itself was brand new still with tags. I paid $140 total for my brand new BOB revolution! It rides like a Cadillac, the canopy is huge and actually keeps the sun off my boy. It folds up real slick and fits in the cargo area of my Scion XB. Its pricy unless you get a deal like I got, but I would gladly pay full price any day of the week, its worth it, and in this case, you do get what you pay for! The only 'complaint' i have is I do agree with others who have left comments, that the storage bag underneath is a bit difficult to access. I find it easier to get to from the side. I also wish the console would come with it (come on! its already $360 + tax for the stroller, throw something in for free!!!)
br /I wish they made BOB's for adults!!
br /Had I known now what a great stroller this is, i would have never wasted money on buying one of those travel strollers. Since you can buy a carseat adapter for the BOB, i would have just bought a carseat seperately! So if you can save up some money, i would highly suggest one of these as opposed to a less costly stroller.

This is an amazing product!

I am thoroughly impressed with this stroller, I live in Paris, France and use this stroller daily. It is nice and smooth over the brick roads and it is so easy to set up and the options on it are great! I bought the rain cover and bottle holder. I am very much into efficiency and this stroller was researched to the point of perfection! Thanks!

i never thought i would have a collection of strollers for a 14 month old, but i do. if only someone had told me that BOB is all you need. this stroller is the luxury suv of strollers. we have used it on gravel, dirt, sand, pavement- and it rocks! it actually takes up less room in the back of my suv than my chicco stroller did. you must buy the handlebar accessory for water bottles, keys ,etc. the one small (very small) complaint i have is that the stroller doesn't stay closed when you have it collapsed. you have to thread the leash through it to make it stay put- but this is minor. the storage is adequate. there is lots of space for the kidlet. 2 settings for the shock absorption. i looked everywhere online to find the best price for this stroller, but pricing is very competitive- my advice is buy it from a reputable dealer. you will not be disappointed.

We got the BOB at the recommendation of my brother. It's been super. Nathan seems to really enjoy it. It takes the bumps alot better than our Peg Prego. Even though it's big, it folds up very quickly and the wheels are quick-release so you can fit it in a pretty small space. We also got the drink carrier for the handlebar which has been nice too.

Unsafe HarnessBeware. The harness is too easy to open. It took our two year old granddaughter just a month to learn to open both

Beware. The harness is too easy to open. It took our two year old granddaughter just a month to learn to open both locks. Very expensive stroller to not be able to know your little one is safe. When we contacted Bob's, they just said they would tell their designer about our granddaughters ability to open the latches. A waste of money!

I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy, lightweight jogging stroller. Not only is this stroller wonderful for jogging, but for walking too. It keeps the sun out of our son's eyes and he is extremely comfortable in it. It also folds easily and can fit in the trunk of our 2-door Ford Focus.

Granted it does not fold up completely with the infant car seat adapter, but it's worth the extra effort to tote this stroller around if you want to be prepared to take your baby for a stroll almost any place you choose running or walking. It glides over all types of terrain and turns great. It really is the luxury SUV of strollers. Our baby Arwen has been riding in this stroller since leaving the hospital. We love it.

The pros: It rolls really well - very smooth. I do a lot of walking on sidewalks and it is much smoother than my other strollers over the expansion joints. It requires almost no effort to push. It rolls well off-pavement, too. The brake is awesome - if it's on, the stroller isn't going anywhere. I love the color; it's a bright happy deep orange.
br /
br /The cons: My big 1 year old son looks terribly uncomfortable in it. The fabric back lacks support and he hunches over, and it's a too deep and cuts into the back of his knees. It's also very hot - after our morning walks he's usually soaking wet. (I wish someone would make a mesh stroller!)
br /
br /It's awkward to adjust the back, and when it's in the fully upright position the extra fabric that's used while reclining hits my son in the head. How's he supposed to fit when he's taller? He's only 1!
br /
br /I HATE the canopy. I was worried when I bought it and should have trusted my instincts. The canopy looks big, but it can't be adjusted for the angle of the sun. If I walk in the evenings or mornings, the sun blinds my son because the canopy doesn't go low enough. My mall crawler stroller has an adjustable canopy that's a much better design at 1/4 the price.
br /
br /It's big. It's too wide to roll into the closet I want to store it in, and it's still pretty big when folded (and won't stay folded without the velcro strap I promptly lost). The upside is that I never kick the tires when walking because they're so far apart.
br /
br /Cupholders cost extra, ridiculous on a stroller this expensive. I wouldn't know, but don't joggers drink water? The storage basket is hard to access but a decent size - I carry a blanket and a loaf of bread to feed the fish in it.
br /
br /I've had the stroller for 8 months now and I thought I would get used to the quirks; instead I find myself more and more frustrated with them.
br /
br /Bottom Line: I like the stroller because it's obviously well made and is great to push, but it's hot, uncomfortable, the design is kind of clunky, and the canopy is useless, which is ridiculous at this price.

The BOB is so smooth to push while jogging or on long walks...however my daughter (1 year) is always slouched and uncomfortable in it because the backing of the seat is slightly bowed out. It seems to be nothing more than cardboard and fabric. She is much more comfortable in our Maclaren. Also, it is big and heavy I would not recommend it for taking in and out of a car. Excellent wheels and canopy....why did they make the seat so cheap?

We bought this stroller before the birth of our daughter. Initially, we loved this product. Recently, our daughter had one of the red rings on the harness straps lodged in her throat (there are 3 rings that dangle in front of the occupant). This plastic ring cut off all oxygen and she was choking. The red rings are slightly larger than the size of a quarter and are used to tighten the harness straps. Our daughter turned a shade of deep purple before we successfully removed the ring allowing her to breathe again. We were terrified, and thankfully our daughter was not seriously injured. When we contacted BOB to alert them of the problem, they blamed our 5-month-old baby. We have filed an official complaint with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and asked they investigate this product. Please, for the safety of your children, take a pass on this product.
