I bought this stroller about a year ago. I LOVE it!
br /
br /I tried several front-to-back double strollers, including the "sit-n-stand" type. I do not have twins, I have a 5 year-old with special needs and a (almost) 2 year-old, so the weight discrepancy was a nighmare. If I put my 5 year-old up front the front-to-back was impossible to push, especially up or across a hill. If I put my 5 year-old in the back, she literally tipped the whole thing over, twice. Plus, she still got tired and napped in a stoller, and the "sit-n-stand" did not allow her any seat-back support.
br /
br /I cannot say how wonderful this stroller is! I have washed it, it still looks brand new! I can still push this stroller with one hand with one or both kids in it. (again with a 22 lb. difference in weight!) I have never met a door frame I could not get through. (Not so with several of my friends who chose other kinds of doubles.) I have never had trouble with my wheels (again, un-like other options). I love that I can take off the sun-hoods. I can get it in and out of my husband's Camry trunk...unlike my front-to-back. It isn't particularly heavy, I can one-arm it without much trouble. The ability to put each side up and down individually is great! It's also super-quick and easy...you can one-hand it down, but you need two to get it back up.
br /
br /When I got it, I was concerned about the poke/pinch factor of the side-by-side vs. the front-to-back, and I have to say the side-by-side is more social and my girls don't get bored, so it doesn't turn as ugly nearly as often!
br /
br /Anyway, I would get this stroller a hundred times over, and have recommended it to anyone who would listen! :) Hope you listen!

I purchased this stroller about two weeks ago to replace my Babytrend Double Snap N Go and it has far exceeded my expectations. My twins are 4 months old and they love this stroller. My boys were getting too hot in their car seats in the Snap N Go and they are so much more comfortable in the MacLaren Twin Triumph. They sleep very well in it and seem very happy in it. The only downsides to this stroller I've found are the underneath compartments aren't easily accessible with the seats reclined and could stand to be a little larger. I purchased the Carbon Black organizer with this stroller and it does NOT fit the Twin stroller so please don't waste your money. The organizer was only meant for the single strollers. Cup Holders would have been nice but since it's easy to steer with one hand it's not a huge deal.

Love Maclaren - again!

I love this stroller! It's our second Maclaren - we have a single stroller too. Now that we have two boys - ages 11mos and 26mos - a lightweight, easy to maneuver stroller was a must.
br /*Good - holds up to 50 lbs on each side - watch that with other strollers if you have bigger kids, lightweight, easy to fold (I undo the metal parts, then lay it on its side and push it down - simple), very easy to steer (with one hand too - I sometimes am carrying one kid), and my sons love it - they like to recline in it (and one son is a handful!), great belt release - you have to push it in the front and back (my kid is crafty - but can't manage this), you can push it through doorways with one hand
br /*Not so good - kind of spendy, but I think it's a good investment if you can do it
br /Hope this helps!

Best Double Stroller I've Ever Used

When my son was born 4 years ago, we received the Maclaren Triumph as a gift. I absolutely loved the stroller, so much so that when I accidentally ran over it with my car two years later, I bought a new one. Despite the cost, we were adamant that we must replace it with the same model. I still own that one and don't plan to get rid of it anytime soon.
br /
br /Last month, we adopted a 3 year old girl. When we returned home and realized that there was no way I could go to the mall or the elementary school with two preschoolers without losing my mind, I quickly began searching for a new stroller. I already had a double jogging stroller, but it just wouldn't work at the mall or in buildings. We hesitated in getting this stroller because of the cost. The Combi seemed to be about $50 cheaper everywhere I looked. However, after comparing the reviews of this to the Combi Twin Savvy (which we owned with our first two children 7 years ago and liked pretty well), we knew the Maclaren was our choice again.
br /
br /I am so glad we chose the Maclaren! It's fantastic. It's so easy to maneuver and to open and close. The kids (who are 35 and 36 pounds, and approximately 38" tall) fit easily and are super comfortable to the point of falling asleep sometimes. It's beautiful and classy (we own the coffee brown one)... we get compliments all the time. The little pouches behind the canopies are small, but fit sippee cups and keys and snacks perfectly within arms' reach. The pouches underneath are small, but for our purposes, they are fine. I can throw my purse in there and a small diaper bag, when necessary...even small store bags. The stroller closes compactly and with just a few kicks of levers and only takes up a small part of our minivan "trunk". In fact, for quite awhile, I was able to store two strollers back there until I decided there was no need for the single stroller anymore. The handles are the perfect height and width apart... and work beautifully for "hooking" bags on, like my older kids' bookbags when they are too heavy to walk home with. In fact, I use this stroller to walk around the neighborhood. It's so much easier to maneuver around bends and up and down sidewalks than the jogging stroller (which has a fixed wheel and isn't easy to use when walking, not running).
br /
br /The cost is a little high for our family of six budget, but in my opinion, it is WELL worth the cost! I highly recommend this stroller.

If you have 2 kids, get this stroller because it makes flying a breeze. Even allowed my wife to travel solo from Chicago to Miami with a 6month old and a 2yr old. Folds easily and has really good style. The seats dont extend though like some of McLaren's solo strollers.

I love this stroller. I had a Graco double stroller but it was just too heavy and took up too much space in my car trunk. My one son is three and he was too heavy for the Graco stroller. This stroller is great if your children are somewhat spaced (I have a three year old and a six month old). My three year old doesn't always ride in it...but there are some days I don't know what I would do without it.
br /This stroller can easily navigate through doorways and usually gets done aisles in stores with no problem. Great for outdoor walks as well.

I purchased this stroller when my younger child became too heavy to wear in the baby bjorn. It was a little expensive, but this is the double stroller that Consumer Reports recommends, and now I see why! It steers like a dream, and my boys (7 months and 20 months) love to ride in it together. I was a little bit worried about a previous review that said that the stroller is very heavy, and the user needed her husband to be with her to use it, but I don't find that to be the case at all. I am 5' 1" and not very strong, but I can lift it out of the back of our SUV, and have it set up and both of my boys buckled in in about two minutes. Miraculously, I can also push it one-handed while pulling a shopping cart behind me, making grocery shopping alone with my babies actually possible. Maclaren, my aching back thanks you!!

After many hours spent on the internet comparing prices, reviews, etc. my husband and I chose this stroller mainly because of the great reviews. It may cost more than other brands, but it sure is worth it! It is so easy to maneuver, and it fits fairly well through doorways, aisles, etc. It is a bit heavy, but it is easy to carry with the attached handle. I do have a couple of complaints, however. The first one is that although there was not much assembly required, attaching the straps and hoods was difficult and a bit confusing. My other complaint is that my 3 1/2 year old has already almost outgrown the straps. I wish they were just a bit longer. Overall, I think this stroller is one of the best on the market. I highly recommend forking out the extra money for it!

I bought this stroller before taking my toddler (2.5) and baby (3 month) to Europe for three weeks, alone. It proved to be great. It is very sturdy, handles with one hand, and folds easily. I really put it to the test going on and off subways and trains and over cobblestone roads. I would recommend it in a heart beat. If you buy it, allow yourself a few days to get used to it and make the adjustments to the straps etc. It is easy to use once you have done it once....but not necessarily easy right out of the box.

Bought the double Mac as our primary stroller for our vehicle. Compact fold, easy carry and fairly lightweight for a double. Niced sized hoods for an umbrella style, great basket. Pushes well, even on roads and sidewalks. No tipping issues at all. Fold and unfold is a little tight and requires some muscle, but after using for awhile I'm confident fold/unfold will become easier (as is the case with all Macs).

LOVE this for errands with my twins

I have had this stroller in navy for nine months, and before that I ran a 10-year old Maclaren twin stroller hand-me-down into the ground. These strollers are awesome. My twins are currently 55lbs combined, and it's still easy to push.
br /
br /This is a fantastic stroller to keep in the back of the car for errands and outings. I keep this in the car and have a Bob double jogger parked on the porch for walks to the park.
br /
br /Easy to fold up, light enough that I can hoist it even though I'm currently pregnant, very attractive looking, fits in the car with room for groceries. I love that it's side-by-side (much easier to push and maneuver than tandem strollers, but still fits through doors), and that it doesn't have those ugly plastic snack trays. I've taken it on trips and checked it at the gate. No complaints, no problems, and I just love how it looks and feels.

I LOVE this stroller! I have a tall 2 year old and a 3 month old and they both fit nicely in this stroller. I love that the baby can recline while my toddler sits straight. I also like the removable and reversible seat covers as well as the colorful straps that can be changed. I have each side with different colors for boy and girl, very cute.
br /
br /My favorite thing about this stroller is that it rolls so well on grass and uneven surfaces. Of course, it's not a jogging stroller, but when I had to push it across my yard down a hill to the park I was surprised by how well it rolled. It also fits through standard doors, I can even push it through my house. It packs up well and is lightweight for a double. I'm very impressed. Love the chocolate brown, I highly recommend!

I spent several weeks researching double strollers before deciding to purchase this one. I have two kids (a five month old girl and an almost 3 year old son), but my son is large for his age (38 lbs and 37.5 inches) and most double strollers we looked at only had a 40 lb weight limit per seat. I wanted to find a stroller that was big enough to accommodate him for at least another year or so, but would also push smoothly with uneven weights in the seats. I also needed a stroller that would fit in our trunk (we have a Honda Civic)--I initially considered the Graco Quattro Tour Duo, because we have the Quattro Tour travel system and love it, but I couldn't fit the thing in my trunk. This stroller has been great--it's relatively easy to push (except, of course, over grass, but that's only to be expected since it wasn't designed for that), pushes fine even with only one child in the stroller, it's relatively easy to set up and fold, and it folds up almost as small as our Chicco umbrella stroller. (Incidentally, the website here says that this product is recommended for 3 months and up, but I checked the Maclaren website and this stroller is okay for newborns. We've used this with our daughter since she was born).
br /
br /Some cons: as other reviewers have noted, the canopies aren't very large and it would be nice if they would come down farther. We've also found the canopies to be a pain to snap into place, so generally we just put them on without snapping them in. The storage bins aren't very large, but I don't find that I use them all that often, so that hasn't been a problem. It would be nice if you could snap a car seat onto this stroller, so that you could use it with small babies without waking them up as you transfer them to and from the car, but very few lightweight double strollers allow you to do that.
br /
br /All in all, we've been very happy with this stroller and thought it was a great value for our money.

Despite what other reviews have stated, this stroller DOES NOT glide effortlessly. Pushing my 2 kids (50 lbs combined) was a pain in the arse and I am in good shape. The design of this stroller is very poor: the seat belts cut into the crotch and are difficult to open, closing and opening the stroller is awkward and time-consuming, assembly is a pain the arse as well. Even my husband who is a marvel at putting things together complained that whoever designed this was a nitwit. NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL!

Good luck
