This is a very nice stroller, and the looks are great.
br /PROS: The fabric is much higher quality than what you would find on a cheaper stroller and the padding is much nicer.
br /Once you learn how to open and close it is very easy to do. It was pretty easy to put together, I did mine 9 months pregnant in less than 20 mins.
br / The sun shade is amazing. If the seat is upright, the shade covers almost the whole child.
br /The basket can accomodate a large diaper bag or a bag of groceries.
br /The wheels are very easy to use, it turns very well.
br / The ride is very cozy for children.
br /The recline is easy to do and it reclines fully.
br /The child tray is great and very easy to use.
br /
br /CONS: an awful lot of this stroller is made of plastic.
br / The folded size is huge compared with umbrella strollers, but it will still fit in a normal trunk, it will just take up most of it, but is a lot smaller than other travel system strollers.
br /The adult cup holder is odd, I removed mine to avoid breaking it when folding it.
br / The first few times I opened and closed the stroller, it took two adults to do it because even with the directions we found it confusing.
br /The stroller is a bit big for aisles in stores and is sized a bit more for the suburbs than the city.
br /The harness attachment is odd.
br /When used with the car seat, it can be difficult to know when it is secure as both the stroller and the carseat make the same click noise.
Just Okay

I'm not a huge fan of this stroller. I had a Graco Metrolite and a Bob Ironman jogging stroller for my 3 year old son. I loved both. I purchased this stroller primarily because it claimed to have a toddler stand and ride feature. That is completely useless - the seat needs to be completely upright and the canopy off and even then, it is very difficult for my 3 year old to hold on. As for the other features, I don't feel the same quality that other reviewers speak of. The cup holder broke right away, the seat recline mechanism doesn't work well, and the breaks seem flimsy. Pros: It is easy to fold, attractive, and the snack tray is great. I'm not completely displeased with the purchase, I just don't think it's worth the extra $$.
Great.

We are thinking of buying this stroller and it looks great, the reviews were helpful too.
br /
br /The only thing I would like to know - does it lie flat for a newborn? In the beginning I don't intend to use a car (thus, no car seat), but to walk with the stroller and if it doesn't lie pretty flat (180 degrees), I don't know if I'd be able to use it for a first month or so.

br /Any insights?

br /Thank you,
br /Sasha.
Lightweight, good looking, easy to fold, small when folded

This product is really good. Another reviewer complained that there is a lot of plastic. This is true, but in my opinion this does not make it look like a cheap product. I think it helps to keep it lightweight.
br /The folding/unfolding is very easy. Try looking on youtube or peg-perego's website for some videos and you can see how easy it is. There are even videos that help you to assemble it (since the manual can be vague in some points). But it's pretty obvious and easy to assemble too.
br /I can't tell if it is comfortable to ride, because I'm too big for it, and my daughter hasn't been born yet. But it looks comfortable.
br /Me and my wife really wanted the cream one (paloma), but we were afraid that it would stain easily. However, I had a nice surprise opening the box, since it turned out that the midnight blue is actually very nice too.
br /And of course, the main feature that lead us to buy this one is the small size when folded. Of course, it is not as small as a regular umbrella stroller, but is definitely much smaller than most strollers (meaning, you don't need to buy an SUV or an extra trunk).
Great stroller

I can tell Peg Perego has put a lot of thought into designing this to be very user friendly. Fairly light and folds/unfolds easily. I would definitely buy this one again if I had a chance. One thing: We wondered if the cream color would be bad as it may stain easily. It seams easy to clean though and can be changed if necessary. (only time will tell). Overall we really like it.
