Great stroller with one major drawback

I love this stroller most of the time. It's fairly light and compact, easy to fold, has a roomy storage basket, zippered compartments for keys and snacks, an effective sunshade, and a reasonable price tag. The extendable handles still don't go as tall as I'd like, but they're definitely better than others I've seen. I'm 5'8" and the height is good as long as I'm not walking fast. My biggest complaint is that it has only a lap harness. One time when we were out and about all day, my son (then about 9 mos.) fell asleep in the stroller. He flopped forward so his head hit his knees; then he jerked back up, fell forward again, and so on. If it had a shoulder harness, it would have held him up so he could nap. Ever since then, I've been hauling my other stroller--a heavy but reclining jogger--when I know we'll be out for longer periods of time. I've seen a few of these jazzed-up umbrella strollers that do recline and that advertise taller handle height, too. Part of me wishes I'd shelled out the extra cash for that one so the little guy could take a nap in it when he needs to.

I purchased this stroller for my 18 month-old after reading other reviews. I love it and my daughter loves it as well. The extendable handles (my husband and I are both tall), zippered pouches, and storage under the seat make this stroller hard to beat for the price. It doesn't recline, but it seemed the ones that recline are very narrow according to reviews and this stroller has a wider seat and will be perfect for our daughter for at least 2 or 3 more years.

I love taking this little stroller when time or space is tight and I can't afford the hassle of folding up the big carriage, putting it in the car, taking out again and so on ... This one usually sits in the car and is instantly ready whenever I am. I love the adjustable sun canopy, and my daughter (11 mons) seems to be very comfortable in it. The storage basket really is a fantastic bonus! The only thing I wish this stroller had is a reclining feature because my daughter cannot seem to fall asleep sitting upright and therefore will get grumpy in this after a while. But then, which umbrella/ convenience stroller does have a recline?! I think that's just not what it is about ...

I bought this stroller because I needed an umbrella stroller. I selected this model because of the cute pink color and also because it has adjustable handles. I wanted an umbrella stroller that was comfortable to push, that I wasn't bent over. This one fits the bill. It has an adorable pattern and STORAGE- not something common on umbrella strollers. It is easy to operate and is everthing I hoped it would be and more! What a great stroller!

I bought this stroller for airplane and train trips with my grandson in Europe, and the stroller was great: weighs only 10 pounds, comfortable to push and maneuver, easily collapsible - - with a simple hook to keep it closed, has movable adequate shade cover, two bottle holders and enough storage for short trips, the waist belt kept vigorous 10-month boy secure - - and released with a simple press of the button, has plastic foot-rest strap that makes it easy for a second person to grab the strap when helping to carry the baby-in-stroller up and down stairs in the Metro, etc. The baby did fall asleep in the stroller with no problem. The two back wheel brakes kept the stroller from moving while on the bus, Metro, or train.
br /TWO ADDITIONS USEFUL:
br /(1) Before I gave the stroller to my daughter, I scavanged yellow-green reflective tape from a reflective vest and sewed six five-inch strips to the stroller fabric to make the grey stroller visible at night from each direction. [This yellow tape also allowed us to easily identify our stroller in a group of other strollers like it].
br /(2) On rainy/windy days, my daughter successfully used the full-length plastic cover (with vent holes) from her other stroller to keep the baby dry and warm. Evenflo should sell such a cover.

This stroller is very lightweight, folding up very conveniently for travel. Perfect for a little girl. It has plenty of storage, with a zippered pocket near the handle for keys or other personal items, as well as 2 bottle holders. The handles extend and are very comfortably padded. The sun canopy is a little flimsy but serves the purpose. I love this stroller and would recommend it if you're looking for something light and easy to use.

I purchased this stroller to take to Walt Disney World for use with my three-year-old. It was a great value, easy to fold and lightweight for picking up and carrying. It has no carrying strap, but I found you really don't need one. Nothing can be in the bottom basket when you fold it up, except maybe a rain poncho. It does have two zipper compartments for small items and two water bottle holders. My daughter found it comfortable and slept in it without a problem. It was easy to steer and manuever in the parks. I loved it!

This stroller is very cute! It's practical and very easy to use. I love how the handles can be adjusted. This is a good stroller for anyone looking for a compact stroller with convenience. It's easy to manuever around, even with one hand, as most of us moms and dads know often is the case.

We bought this stroller as a lighterweight option for the airport. It was nice and light but sturdier than most umbrella strollers. A big plus was the storage compartment under the seat and the overhead shade - absent in most umbrella strollers. This one is strong enough to support a bag across the handles when child is in seat. As tall parents (5'10 and 6'0) we particularly appreciated the telescoping handles that allowed us to push the stoller without constantly stooping. I did not give it 5 stars because the locking mechanism was not as sturdy as we would have liked. It bent a little when I used a little too much force with my foot to lock it, but it also bent back into shape easily and considering this is our lightweight option stroller I did not expect the same durability/strength as our Phil and Ted stroller. Overall would highly recommend this stroller for its weight, under seat compartment, overhead shade (although not large provides some cover), telescoping handles and ease of use during travel. We will use it again particularly on metro trips as it folds quickly, has storage and some cover, and maneuvers well.

We purchased this for our 5 year old (she is petite) for our trip to Disney World. Normally she would not use a stroller but we thought that Disney might be too much and we did want to go through the hassle of renting a stroller there. This looked like a reasonably priced option that would be easy to store and move around to the parks. It worked out so well. It was easy to push the extended handles were great for me and my husband. It pushed much easier than the typical cheap umbrella. My daughter though it was comfortable so much so that whe insisted in being pushed the whole trip. The storage is not huge but we could fit a couple of sweatshirts in there.

I ordered this stroller just for trips, because I fly alone with my daughter a lot. However, it has become my everyday stroller! My daughter loves it and so do I. It pushes easily and its soooo much lighter than our Chicco Cortina (which I love too!) However, if I were going to the mall or a theme park I would definately use my Chicco, because the Graco doesn't recline or have cupholders (yes it has a place for sippys or water bottles, but not adult cups). I love that the Graco's handles extend, so I am not running into the wheels, this stroller is soooo much better than a regular umbrella stroller but folds up the same. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the sun shade is very cheap feeling and we live in Florida. For the price this stroller is an awesome buy and a must have for every busy mom of a toddler!

This is the best stroller! I looked at a lot before I bought this stroller for my third child, and the price and features could not be beat! It is easy to push, fold, store in the car. The extra handle length is awesome. I never use the basket, I just put everything on the handles, but the bag and cup holders come in handy for toys and bottles, and the canopy is nice when you are running through the parking lot in the rain, you can adjust it to protect your baby. The only thing it's missing is a reclining seat, but really when a kid is tired they will sleep anywhere! I started using this when my son, was four months and he still slept fine in it. Really you can not beat this stroller for $40. Best buy ever!

I was looking for a good light weight stroller and i came across this one. It had almost everything i wanted. The best feature of all for me is the ajustable handles! The other light weight strollers i looked at I always had to lean over and this works perfect!! Not to mention, you get the storage space and cup holer thing too. It's great, i would recommend it to anyone searching for something in this catagory. It's a great price and seems very reliable and well made! If i had to make a suggestion for me since my son is just shy of 1, 5 point harness would be my only suggestion. My 3 year old even climbs in it and asks for rides as well. He fits in it with some room left to grow and hes 80% on his height. This stroller is just great, light weight, doesnt take up much room in the trunk, small, and has some storage room everything i was looking for and i got it for less then $[...] shipped to my door!!

This stroller is unbelieveable! My daughters with other umbrella strollers want to throw theirs out and buy this one. The moveable handles are a real plus for the tall and the height challenged! All the storage with this stroller is fantastic. It's sturdy, safe, easy to fold and comfortable for both the child and the adult "pusher". I would highly recommend this as an upscale umbrella stroller.

This stroller is awesome! I would reccomend it to anyone and everyone. I love the adjustable height on the handles, the basket below the seat and the cup holders on the back. You get all this AND it folds up like an umbrella stroller saving space. Its perfect! Its worth the money. As soon as we got it we through our cheap 12 dollar umbrella stroller away. It was too short and no space for putting things. If your consindering this stoller, get it!

I purchased this stroller for use while traveling. It worked perfectly in the airport: smooth ride, was easy to fold up for security and at the gate. I was worried about it not having the 5 point harness but my daughter never needs it in her other stroller and she didn't need it with this one. Also, I loved having the cup holders and pockets. It made really handy to have my cell phone close by. I'll be using this stroller every time I travel.

The Evenflo stroller was extremely easy to put together with clear instructions. It is just what I was looking for, an inexpensive, collapsible stroller with a movable sun shade, net underneath to carry things, easy to push. One thing it doesn't have is an adjustable reclining seat, but it fills our needs. My one year old grandson was very comfortable and fell asleep in it during our first outing.

I bought this stroller for the adjustable handles. I was so sick of kicking the wheels on my previous stroller and was on a quest for a compact stroller with long or adjustable handles.
br /It was very easy to assemble. The wheels just popped right on. No tools or husband was needed.
br /I have used it 3 times and absolutely love it. No more kicking the wheels for me and it has a lot of storage for being such a compact stroller.

Great, has done well on vacation.

The Evenflo X Sport Plus convenience stroller was one of the best purchases I've ever made for my son! It's sturdy durable, easy to push steer, looks good, and plenty of room for storage. I especially like the pockets and cup holders at the top. The basket underneath is not big enough to hold a diaper bag but will fit a regular sized purse a few small items. It's lightweight and easy to get in out of a car. The price is great too - a little more than the cost of the tiny umbrella strollers but totally worth it for the extra durability and size. My son is almost 2 and really tall for his age and this stroller holds him very comfortably. For a kid who doesn't sit still, it's nice that he'll sit in this stroller for long walks w/ no problem. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

I rarely write reviews even though I always read them before buying something. But I had to write one for this stroller. I love it! I was looking for something that was larger, taller, and had more features than our cheapo umbrella stroller, but something smaller than our big travel system stroller. This stroller is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. First, the price for what you get cannot be beat. Second, I love that I can steer it easily with one hand and the ride is very smooth. Third, the adjustable handles are GREAT! I finally am not hunched over. I love the pouch on the back and the cupholders, and although they are just fabric ones, they are better than the one I had on my expensive Peg Perego. I really like that it has one button to release the harness... makes it very easy to get my daughter out. And she fits perfectly in the stroller at 21 months. She looks very comfortable and seems happy riding in it, although yes, without a 5-point harness she is able to reach out and grab things! My only complaint is that I don't like the folding mechanism that you are supposed to do with your foot. I live in Phoenix, and we wear sandals year round, and the metal hurts if you try to move it with your foot in sandals. But I don't really care too much since all the other features are just what I was looking for. I only wish I had bought this sooner.

We have a two year old. We purchased this stroller to take with us to Disney World. This was his first trip to see Mickey! The product is a great value. The stroller was delivered to our home very timely. It was a breeze to assemble. We loved the look and the extra storage. So many umbrella strollers do not offer any storage!. The cup holders were great too. We used the stroller in the airport and it was easily checked at the gate. When getting on and off of the buses at Disney, the stroller took up little space. My husband is 6'4" and loved the adjustable handles! We would highly recommend this product!

This is a great stroller! The extension handles really do help provide you with a longer stride. My kids like being able to hop in and out. I like being able to strap them in when I don't want them hopping out. ;) This is a great deal. I searched for a stroller like this for a long time. I am so happy that Evenflo put out a practical stroller with a practical price.

This is a very good stroller for the value, however, we've constantly had trouble with the front wheel falling off. It is fine when you are moving, but if you have to pick the back up to go up a curb, the front wheel falls right off. Otherwise, we love the adjustable handles, and my daughter fits very nicely in it.

our seven month old son outgrew his carrier seat, so we had to purchase a new seat and umbrella stroller (to replace the snap and go). we read all the reviews and decided to go with this one. it is perfect for us! it is fairly long folded up (at least for my honda civic), but it takes up minimal space in my trunk (it is long and skinny folded up). he enjoys riding in it, and the cup holders an zipper pocket for my items are extremely convenient. setting it up and folding it down are a breeze. the best thing is that after i purchased it (with free shipping, mind you), amazon sent me a $[...] rebate! so, for $[...], we purchased an excellent umbrella stroller with all the amenities we wanted. thank you!!

I LOVE this stroller! The handles extend so that my hubbie can also push the stroller with ease. There is plenty of storage also. A zipped pack for keys and wallets. A mesh bag for anything else and two cupholders. Those are not very big but they work for a 20 oz bottle and my travel cup. There is also storage underneath. My 15 month old has slept in the stroller with no problem. Also goes over bumps and cracks in the sidewalk easily. I have no complaints and have recommended it to other moms!

I have two daughters, 3 and 16 months. I have a nice double stroller but it's just too big to use in some places and it's also a little time consuming because I have to set it up and strap both kids in when all I want to do is quickly do my errands. This stroller works great and suits its purpose. I'm an Army wife, who like thousands of others, has to do a lot of things on my own when their husbands are deployed. I'm on my 3rd deployment and although I can do a lot of things without needing help, I do welcome a break whenever I can get one...lol. Juggling two active little ones when I have to do errands can be really challenging at times. I had it down to a science before, but my 16 month old is really getting too big to carry and try to hold onto my 3 year old as well, like when we go to the store, daycare or where ever I have to go that day. So I really like this stroller and so do my kids. It's easy to maneuver and set up. The lever is on the bottom and sometimes I can push it with my foot to fold the stroller again. Most times I have to use my hand though. But I wouldn't call that an inconvience at all. It folds up nicely, the handles are comfortable, it's lightweight and it has nice pockets for smaller items. The only reason I could think of for not giving this stroller 5 stars was it's not completely hands-free. But, to me, that's a small price to pay for a nice stroller and I've gotten several compliments on it. I'd definitely buy this one again.

I needed an umbrella stroller to keep in the car for the mall or quick stops. After doing a little research and reading reviews I decided on this one.. GREAT CHOICE.. I love it, Lily my 8 mo old loves it too. Its the perfect size and great for tall people. The handle bars move up. It has little storage areas for keys and small stuff and a small storage under but its great.. Only a 3 point harness but its an umbrella stroller so its not as if you are going on a long 3 mile walk and are worried the kid might get annoyed and try to get out.. Perfect for an umbrella stroller..

I was looking for an umbrella stroller for an upcoming trip with my 2 1/2 year old. It will be my first time flying alone with him so I wanted a lightweight compact stroller for the airport, etc. After much research I found this one. The price was awesome and it had all the features I needed. So far I am loving it. The Plus model has extendable handles which are padded and so comfortable to push without kicking the back wheels. I really like the moveable canopy that can go forward to block the sun. My only complaint is that I wish they made a more vibrant color for boys. The girl's version is adorable in a pink pattern compared to the plain grey they have for boys. Other that that, it's much better than those cheap umbrella strollers. This will be great for the amusement parks too!

As a first time grandma, I needed a stroller for 'grandma's house' for when my grandson visits. This stroller is perfect. Easy to use and very smooth ride for my grandson, yet compact enough to fit in the closet between visits. In fact, I ended up ordering a second one and having it shipped directly to my son and his wife for them to use at home. They love it, especially the adjustable handle height, and find it much easier to use this stroller for quick trips out rather than dragging along the huge "Escalade" (as they call it)stroller/car seat system.

We bought this stroller for our 10 month old grandson, who is 23 pounds!! It works great and meets all our needs. I encourage you to buy the extended handles, which is a great feature. It is more expensive, but totally worth it. The canopy is a bit small, but is adjustable. It's a snap to fold up and fits great in the trunk of your car. Highly recommend for grandparents!!

We needed a pink stroller to keep our little one happy.

br /This stroller does have one draw back that I can see - no shoulder straps. Not a major issue for us as our daughter is older now. Other than that I have been quite happy with our purchase. After having a few kids I didn't want a heavy, clunky stroller to store and drag around. This one has worked well for us and the quality was a bit better than what can be purchased in the stores, not to mention the color. The storage was just as good as other models and we didn't have any issues with drink bottles in the fabric compartments.

I love this stroller! It has enough storage for short trips, an adjustable canopy that protects my little one from the sun, and steers like strollers that cost twice as much.
br /
br /I was unsure if the handlebar storage would really be helpful -- it looked flimsy in the product photographs --- but it holds a water bottle for my toddler and myself with ease, and holds my sunglasses, keys and papers when needed.
br /
br /Don't spend $100 plus for a similar stroller from a different brand. This one is too good to pass up.

This is a great lightweight stroller that folds compactly. I bought the "plus" model that has adjustable handles. I am tall so most umbrella strollers were hard to push. The adjustable handles on this model make it much easier for me. The storage compartments are very handy - not very large - but big enough to put a few small bags. There is a drink holder and a place for your keys/sunglasses which is great. Overall, the price of the stroller was very reasonable, it is much lighter and folds much smaller than my graco stroller and still has some storage, so I think it is a great buy.

This stroller is well worth the money. Even someone 6'3 can easily use it. It is light enough to easily take through the airport. Portability of a small stroller but feel like a full size.

Excellent quality and great price!!

My 15 month old daughter LOVES this stroller. It's very comfortable for her and she likes the colors. She immediately wanted to sit in it with her dolls as soon as we took it out of the box and it was hard to get her out of it!! For me, it's very easy to push, lots of storage room and extras. The only thing that I could want would be some kind of cup holder for her but for the price, this is a really great buy! I definately would recommend to a friend!

I finally got a nice stroller since did a whole month investigation.

We got this stroller to take with us on a flight. We haven't gone yet but I have been using it around town. It is much smaller and lighter than the stroller that came with the "travel system". Because it is smaller it also has a smaller basket under the seat. Most smaller strollers don't have a basket so that is why I picked this one. The other selling point for me was the mesh seat. It helps with airflow and helps my baby not sweat as much. It moves well and is easy to open and close. It does have some storage space near the handles that holds bottles and a zipperd compartment for things like keys and cel phones. I am glad we got it.

We purchased this stroller for a family vacation since travel systems are just too bulky. It is very cute, lightweight and has excellent storage for being an umbrella stroller. My 7 month old seemed to enjoy being pushed around in it and feel asleep in it several times. It is very easy to fold up and store as well. When I was looking for an umbrella stroller, I wanted something with storage and a canopy--this stroller has both for a fractioin of the price of similar strollers. My only complaint about this stroller is that although it does have a canopy, it doesn't cover much--it is adjustable though. I highly recommend this stroller.

Like the title says, this is a pretty good alternative to your usual umbrella stroller. The basket is good sized, and the hanging organizer on the back is nice. It will hold a few medium-sized drinks, or water bottles. Manuevering is pretty good when driving one-handed.
br /
br /I knocked it down to 4 stars because the sides could be just a little deeper. My son doesn't sleep well in here, his head keeps falling forward, and the body follows until he's hanging by his belt :(
br /
br /Overall, for the price, it's recommended vs. a normal umbrella stroller...and it has a much higher weight limit!

We looked at Chico's and below as far as price. The Evenflo X looked like the best value for the features we wanted. The Christina was $10 cheaper than the other 'X' models (in grey and red) and only seems to be different in that it was pink.
br /
br /We have a boy, but seeing as how we have purchased other strollers the $10 savings made having him in a pink one workable. The only feature that my wife doesn't like is that it does not recline. I thought that the Evenflo X models did, so you may want to verify that before buying the Christina model...I don't remember seeing any differences among the models on the little comparison chart though.

br /Lots of good storage room underneath and behind the handles. Overall a good value and a product that we use consistently.
