We originally went to Target and tried out the strollers there. We planned on getting the Eddie Bauer Travel System (which runs around $200.) But after reading some mixed reviews that said the main drawback with that system was the heaviness and the latch system complicatedness (and as my husband and I are both short and had also been warned about complicated seatbelts), I wasn't sure how a heavy system would suit us. So I did more research and found the Safety 1st system. It's gotten good reviews for safety, looks nice, was $70 less, and doesn't weigh much. Plus, it has 3 wheels, which seemed nice for handling.
br /
br /So we ordered this system; I was apprehensive while waiting for it, because what if it came and I hated it? But after it arrived and my husband set it up in a manner of minutes. It's super simple, looks great, folds up easier than any stroller I tried out, and the 3 wheels make the handling amazing. The fact that the wheels are large is great, too, because you get a super smooth ride (my sister put our dachshund in and wheeled him around and he had a great time!)
br /
br /Don't be put off by the fact that it's not a huge brand name like Graco, or that it's not sold at every store. I was put off at first by the fact that I'd have to pay shipping for such a big package, but I ordered it through Amazon from BabyAge (they had $8 flat shipping). Yes, the cupholders are a bit small, but honestly? If I was shopping and watching a baby I doubt the cupholders would be my first concern. And yes, there aren't a lot of bells and whistles, but the tradeoff is the light weight and simple design. I'd definitely recommend the Safety 1st Travel System!!

We looked at a lot of strollers and were considering the Graco Metrolite and a couple of others. It is extremely light weight, very well built, and has all kinds of great features. We weren't sure about the tri-wheeled set-up until we played with this one in a store. Now, we can't imagine having the quad set-up.
br / - The larger wheels have made it excellent for long walks around our neighborhood.
br / - It folds very, very easily
br / - It folds in a way that keeps the wheels down and everything else up, out of the dirt and wet ground.
br / - It looks much more stylish than all the big plasticky Graco's and other strollers in this price range
br /
br /The car seat is fine, but nothing special. The sun shade is a little flimsy. We were also a little concerned at the rescinded Consumer Reports article. It turns out that they were testing at much higher speeds than intended, but this one still didn't do as well as a couple of others.

Nice and lightweight!

After reading hundreds of reviews and going back and forth between the Graco Metrolight, Graco Stylus, and the Chicco Cortina I found this travel system here on Amazon. What worried me most about the Graco and Chicco systems were the weight. We tried them out in the store and the car seat by itself was horribly heavy - without an added 10 pound baby inside! I was also worried about how the stroller would fit, even folded, in the trunk of my VW Jetta.
br /
br /This system seemed to address all my concerns based on the other reviews, but I was still nervous waiting for it to arrive since it isn't one of the well-known brand names and the price was much lower than the others I was considering.
br /
br /Simply put, this system is awesome. The big, three-wheeled setup is easy to push and maneuver. (It actually has a dual front wheel which helps keep it very stable.) All of the controls are easy and either lock or audibly snap in place so you know it's secure. When folded, it's compact and still easy to put into the trunk since all three wheels stay on the ground - keeping all the soft bits elevated and clean which I really like. It fits with room to spare in my trunk.
br /
br /The car seat is lightweight and easy to carry. It took my husband about 20 minutes to assemble the stroller and install the car seat base. The controls for releasing the car seat from both the base and the stroller and the control to collapse the stroller are easy to use which is nice for first time parents like us.
br /
br /There aren't crazy bells and whistles with this system, but it's sturdy, lightweight and maneuverable which are worth more to me than some of the other add-ons or a bigger cupholder. (Which, by the way, a standard 20oz coke bottle fits into fine. You might have to skip the jumbo bucket of drink at the fast food place, but otherwise they're fine.) The canopies are easy to unfold and retract and even with the seat all the way back you can easily reach into the basket compartment on the bottom, which is a complaint often mentioned with the pricier systems.
br /
br /The only caveat I have for this system is the color, and it actually works for us but we were surprised. From the pictures I expected more of a silver and black, but the system is baby blue and black. We're having a boy so it's okay, but I would have preferred a more gender neutral or at least a different color than baby blue. It's a very minor complaint but I thought I should mention it so other parents wouldn't be surprised.
br /
br /In short I couldn't be happier with my choice of the Safety 1st Acella Sport travel system. I can't wait for our little one to arrive in a few weeks so we can tool around the neighborhood in style!

I was going to order from amazon but i found a lower price on web and ordered this.
br /
br /If i were the CEO of saftey 1, i would have sacked the marketing VP. the product looks much better than the minimal photos. I will put up some photos soon.
br /
br /there is one ambiguous instruction in manual. So it took 25 minutes to assemble which should ideally take 15. [ i had to remove the wheels and reassemble after finding the brakes didn't work ... as i had put them the wrong way.]
br /
br /But once that was corrected, by wife who was very apprehnsive on buying it, was visibly very happy.
br /
br /With sleek aluminium frame, and good color combination, it doesn't look like the junk of meaningless plastic extrusions like gracco etc., we saw in babys'r'us or even walmart. i like that it is neutral color.
br /
br /It has an upscale chic look. but the fittings are very robust and clicks are quite reassuring. YOu could easily find out that they compromised a few obvious design choices for safety.
br /
br /The front wheel is actually a double wheel, giving more stability. The front wheels rotate unlike the fixed ones, but if you are taking a long walk.. you have a switch to lock them without allowing the movement. this i like best... most tri-wheel strollers don't hav this option.
br /
br /With the car seat on, it looks even better. The car seat is of same standard as snugrider, but not as cool as the Chicco one. But the car base is better designed than some of the leading car seat bases.
br /
br /2 of the 3 cupholders are small, for american size. I wonder if they meant them for baby bottles than beveage glasses. the canopy has two transparent windows from front and back to look at the baby. It also has a toddler foot-rest which many 3 wheel strollers don't.
br /
br /
br /And like all 3 wheel stollers it offers more space for storing goods below the seat. I haven't used the seat inclining mechanism yet, and that does not seem super convenient; but i think i can guess why they opted for this system than easier ones.
br /
br /very satisfied with it overall... waiting for my daughter to like it when she arrive in Feb :)

My husband and I live overseas and because we did not like the three pattern choices the base offered for baby gear and affordable options were limited we decided to order online. (It was literally cheaper to send the package to my sister and have her mail it to us than to buy a stroller and or car seat downtown considering the prices and exchange rate).
br /
br /My husband and I picked this stroller based on the color and the great reviews. We researched several websites before deciding on this travel system. I really like the color and the appearance of this travel system. I'm happy that the car seat is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft.
br /
br /I do have four complaints:
br /
br /1. I'm disappointed that more information about how it operates was not available on any website I found. Information like certification for use in aircraft certainly would have been helpful.
br /
br /2. When I received the travel system I carefully read the instruction manual and was amazed that information about how to insert and remove the car seat from the base was excluded. It was easy enough to figure out after a little trial and error, but still that information is just as important as knowing how to buckle the car seat into the car.
br /
br /3. While I'm glad the car seat has a 5 point harness system there is one thing that I don't like about it- the lap buckle. The lap buckle is made of plastic and you have to fit the two plastic shapes together before you can snap it in. The stroller seat belt is better because each piece snaps in individually.
br /
br /4. The only thing I'm disappointed with the stroller is that it has only two reclining positions- the baby can either sit straight up or in a recline position, but he can't lay flat- which is something else I would have liked to have known before purchasing this travel system.

I bought this travel system after reading TONS and TONS of consumer reviews on just abot every affordable system around. I compared this to just about every Graco, Evenflo etc system (re: didn't check ou tthe Peg Perego's etc, as I can't fathom spending that much!). I bought this one as it received rave reviews and was totally affordable. I bought it from albeebaby.com (was on sale for $119.00!). I bought an additional base for the car seat (it comes with one) and still paid less than what i would have paid for the Graco/Evenflo systems that i looked at - and this looks a lot better.
br /
br /So - I had a spring baby and have used this system almost daily for 3 months. So far, I love it! Here's the breakdown -
br /
br /Stroller - AWESOME! This is one of the lightest strollers I have ever used. It steers very well and the three wheel design (with the swivel front wheel) allows you to make sharper turns than a conventional stroller. THe front wheel does have a lock to be used on really rough services (gravel, etc), but i've never had to use it. I use this stroller and walk a VERY large yellow lab at the same time and have no problems. I can steer this easily with one hand if I have to. I do wish that the seat reclined further so that my young infant would be able to use it without the car seat, but that's not a huge deal. The basket could be a bit bigger, but I've just grown accustomed to not taking lots of stuff! I just throw a few diapers, some wipes, extra clothes and a camera down there and we're good to go. It folds down fairly compactly and I can lift it into the back of our Ford Freestyle one handed if need be. When used with the infant seat, it is somewhat inconvenient to have to add in the extra rod that the seat clips onto, but again, not a huge issue. The rod is self storing which is nice. The canopies on the car seat and the stroller meet up nicely so that baby can be completely covered if there is tons of sun, and to some extent this will also keep out rain and bugs, though not completely. Also, the car seat handle flips down and can be used to pull the stroller from the front if you need to (super handy in clothing stores where the is often a tight fit!).Even with the infant seat, the stoller is very easy to push, steer etc and remains very stable. The three wheel design of the stroller is nice as it is streamlined and fits into tight spaces and the front wheel doesn't stick out nearly as far as other three wheeled strollers.
br /
br /Car Seat - This seat for me, is just ok. It's not as user friendly as other seats, but it does the job that it's supposed to do. I don't have any real huge cons, but there are not any really huge pros to it either (besides compatability with the stroller). THe seat is fairly large (bigger than lots of others that I see), which is good as you can use it for the full first year (unless your baby is an Amazon), but this also means that is is heavier, more cumbersome to carry (especially without the "z" handle many seats have) and may be more of a struggle to fit into a small vehicle. We have a 2 door grand am, which it fits in, but it must go on the passenger side so that my husband can still drive the car (front seat must be slid forward quite a bit). The size makes it a struggle to remove from a 2 door car as well - gets caught up in the seat belt. But, with some practice it goes a litte more smoothly. Our second car is a Ford Freestyle (a 6 passenger crossover), which is VERY easy to get it in and our from, but still is pretty tight with the front seats. I really like that it has head and body padding, there was no need to buy anything extra to go with it when the baby was a newborn. It has managed to cradle his head through his hips just as well when he was 8 pounds as it does now when he is 14. The strap system is your typical 5 point harness, which is nice but the crotch clip (for lack of a better term) is a little weird. It's made of a strange plastic, probably would be better if it were metal like our toddler seat. IT is also somewhat difficult to buckle if you have the straps adjusted tight enough to be safe for the child. However - if you hold the button down when you are buckling it, it buckles much easier. Like other users have said, the canopy is fairly flimsy and falls a lot during use (not so much in the car as wen you are carrying the seat.)
br /
br /All in all - definitely a good buy. My husband wonders if the wheels of the stroller will hold up over time, but so far so good. I love it and I'm happy with the purchase. It looks much nicer than other stroller systems (nice and streamlined - I get tons of compliments)and the stroller is the best i've used. The car seat isn't the greatest, but again, no real serious issues with it, just some minor inconveniences. Not really any bells and whistles, if that's what you're looking for, but after 3 months of use, I'd buy it again.

Great stroller challenging car seat

I started looking at strollers before the baby came. Checked out several reviews and tried out many at local stores. Since this is our second child (with a 9 year gap) I did not expect any challenges with the car seat and focused more on the stroller set up. I love the stroller, it is easy to use, fits (snugly) into the trunk of my corolla and is light-weight.
br /My problem comes with the car seat straps, it is difficult to strap the baby into the car seat. The mechanism for locking everything together is challenging to use with an infant who is extremely tolerant. I can't imagine trying to put a crying infant into this seat.
br /I am now considering trying out other car seats that will be easier to use, because I can not imagine spending the next year trying to snap the baby into this seat everyday. It is too time consuming and frustrating.

Based on the reviews here, I ordered it with Amazon and received it within couple of days, very easy to assemble and use. Excellent service as usual by amazon.
br /
br /Using it for almost 3 months now, I found more cons than pros
br /
br /Pros:
br /= Solid construction.
br /
br /Cons:
br /
br /= Slightly heavier than the usual Graco and hence wife says its difficult to handle by herself.
br /= Although it says... it can be opened/closed in one hand doesn't seem that easy.
br /= The child seat material is synthetic plastic like, which gets very hot in summer very cold in winter.. meaning you cannot leave the child seat in car, cloth would've been nice.
br /= Child seat is also larger than usual ones, which seem to require lot more room when placed in my minivan 2nd row.
br /= Because of the design/angles the newborn almost ends up sitting up right, makes it highly inconvenient for them and defeating the purpose. A slight inclination or adjustment would've really helped here.
br /= The basket beneath the seat is also smaller compared to other such systems out there.
br /
br /So, my suggestion is, please go out and try this and other brands at a local store and see what best fits your needs.

Good solid wheels, flimsy 'plasticky' car seat

The Acella sport travel system is very well put together. The best part is the large wheels on the stroller - very useful on bumpy sidewalks, road trips on the beach etc. The car seat is a little flimsy and feels 'plasticky'. Overall once the baby is in it, everything feels snug and safe. The car seat base does not have the modern 'clip' attachments and uses the car seat buckles to latch in. Not a bad buy overall for the very good price on Amazon - I paid $ 129 after a $10 promotion. Free shipping. Delivered within 3 days. We bought this as a second stroller/travel system for our in-laws to keep at their home when we visit with our kid. Our 1st system is a Chicco - much more quality in construction and better safety ratings, but we were not happy with the small wheels - that travel system has a very bumpy ride even on paved sidewalks.

Awesome stroller system, June 13, 2008
br /By Jessica Pellien (Levittown, PA) - See all my reviews
br /
br /
br /I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. We are on our third baby and with the two older children, we used much more expensive stroller systems that BOTH broke and were clunky and heavy. The Acella Sport system is light, easy to open and close (unlike other strollers, this really IS a one hand system). As other reviewers have noted, the stroller folds in such a way that none of the cloth parts touch the ground so everything stays very clean. It folds up small enough that I have no problem lifting it in and out of the minivan trunk.
br /
br /The three wheel system is wonderful - the front wheel pivots easily and handling is very nice. The brakes are easy to engage and disengage and hold the stroller really still. I've taken it to the park and traveled over grass, sand, playground mulch - you name it, and the stroller exceeded my expectations for how smoothly it traveled.
br /
br /The seat comes with built in cushions which we had to purchase separately with our earlier strollers.
br /
br /Some caveats:
br /I think the seat's removable shade is a bit flimsy. I don't like the way the fabric hangs loosely off the back of the seat when it's folded down.
br /The under stroller storage is smaller than other systems. I can fit our diaper bag (a backpack style), but very little else.
br /Though there are three cupholders on the handle, only one is large enough to hold a water bottle or cup. We've been using the child's cupholder to hold a second drink.
br /The color really is blue as noted in other reviews. We have a baby girl and it's not a huge deal, but I would have been happier with a more gender neutral color.

I was under the impression that this was a jogger; it isn't. The car seat sits too upright for a newborn. My baby ends up sliding down in it, and the angle of the car seat is too harsh, so that my child's neck is not supported and rolls forward. Someone must sit in the backseat next to the car seat at all times to support her neck. Fortunately, my mother-in-law came across some really bulky strap covers at Babies R Us and purchased those, so we are able to wedge them in on either side of the baby, so she does slump forward. The travel system also has no "shock absorbency," and your child will more than bump, bump, bump all the way down any surface that falls short of paved perfection. Also, if you live in a hilly or mountainous area and plan on walking the baby in the stroller up any incline, your baby will probably also fall a bit forward in the seat, as mine does when I walk with her up a hill in this stroller. I had to take a break on the way up (it wasn't that steep, either) due to her head rolling forward due to no support of the stroller as well as her wailing because of the constant bumps (she virtually never cries at any other time).
br /
br /However, it looks somewhat cute and is convenient in terms of the one-click disengage function. It also has a considerable amount of storage space, which is nice, and it is supposed to last from the newborn stage through childhood, which is nice, but I cannot attest to whether it holds up to this or not, as my child is still a newborn. I also like all of the cup storage space on the stroller.

Ater much research we decided on the Saftey 1st Acella Sport Travel System for our first grandson. There were only 2 jogging travel systems that we could find the low price made us wonder on this purchase. It has turned out to be very nice well worth more than the low price. It was easy for them to assembly very light weight. A plus since they live in an apartment in San Francisco! Being a jogging stroller it is easier to maneuver, a nice thing on crowded city streets!

Pretty good for the price.

This travel system was easy to put together. The carseat seems comfortable for my son, who is now 4 months old. The stroller unfolds easily and seems sturdy and secure. I like that this system is light-weight and the colors are nice. Some things I DON'T like about it... the sunshade on the carseat does not attach to the back of the seat, so it blows open and wakes the baby up and/or comes off if you tug on it a little too hard. This gets annoying. Also the front wheel on the stroller needs to be greased VERY frequently, or it is hard to turn. Also the material is not easy to wash, and stains easily. One of my biggest annoyances about the carseat is that it does not fit nicely into the top of a shopping cart! The baby is either tilted WAY forward or WAY back, and my son usually wakes up because of that. I had a Graco carseat previously, which clicked into the shopping cart easily and at a good angle. All in all this is a decent system, but we won't be keeping it for our next child!

I love this stroller and car seat duo. I have been using it for my son for 5 months now and am completely happy. The stroller was easy to assemble, the car seat base was easy to install and it couldn't be easier to get my little one buckled and latched into the base. The stroller is sturdy, easy to manuever and easy to push offroad. We had researched a travel system for about 3 weeks before deciding on this one and I'm thrilled that we went with the Safety 1st model. The only minor complaint that I have is the width of the back wheels. Sometimes when shopping, I can't fit between clothes racks or support beams in isles. Other than that, it's perfect.

This stroller is lightweight, easy to maneuver and very durable. It is very easy to collapse and fold and open. Everything snaps into place so you know it is secure.
br /
br /There's a tray for rattles, toys, or other baby type things. There's a tray with cupholders for the pushers and even a cell phone holder.
br /
br /You can check on the baby through a "window" while you are strolling along as well. We are glad we purchased this system and highly recommend it.

I bought this stroller because I'm tired of lugging around a 4wheel stroller. I took this out of the box and it took me maybe 5 minutes to put it together, when it is folded down its no smaller than the 4wheel strollers but I really don't mind. The other nice thing is its not as heavy as the big strollers. The car seat surprised me it has more padding than alot of the other seats, and the base comes with the lach system which is nice. The other thing is in the manual i noticed that you can buy replacement parts for the stroller. The only down fall is that the car seat doesn't have a truned handle its straight, and the stroller seat doesn't lay all the way down. All in all its going to be a great stroller system, I would recomend this to any new mom or one that has children. I my self have a 6year old and expecting soon.

br /I was very worried when I placed this order,
br /
br /* Well the car seat fit in my old convertible car? Will the stroller fit in the back of my car?
br /* Heavy or light? My wife will be using it most of the time.
br /* Not a well known product name? do I risk it?
br /
br /I received the box a week ago, the product is packaged professionally, and it only took 2 days to arrive, the product looks great, and the car seat is equipped with everything you need. Assembly of the stroller didn't take much, 15-20 minutes max. Since this is my first child, the car seat was a bit of a challenge, but at the end it was installed properly despite that my small back seat was the challenging part. The only drawback, which was mentioned before in one of the reviews, the picture shows a silver-black color, but in reality it is baby blue-black. Other than that I am very satisfied with this product, and would highly recommend it to others.

We received this stroller set today and we LOVE the look of it. It's very sporty looking and looks more expensive than it was. I really can't say enough about the good looks of this stroller, it should stand out in a crowd. The wheels are nice and big and there is even "soft suspension" in the front which makes it very smooth rolling. It took my husband about 30 minutes to put everything together and then maybe 10 to 15 minutes to figure out how everything works. It folds together really easily and everything seems very smooth to operate. Our baby is due in 3 months and I'll write annother review after putting it into practical use but so far I'd highly recommend it.

I just got this system yesterday and I love it! This system is top notch for saftey: The dual front wheel makes it sturdy, hard to tip; extreemly secure locking system for baby carrier; the blue fabric is actually reflective fabric, so it is silverish-blue but shines in car lights; The brakes are not resistant type or cheap they are more like gear brakes that fit into the tooth of the wheel mechanism; You can lock the front wheel strait for jogging; they system is well balanced even with stuff in the basket/bar; can be manuvered and operated with only one hand; Very light weight yet not at all cheap; the grips and padding is soft; the harnesses are secure 3 point and fully adjustible with pads to prevent chaffing; the wheels are an extruded tough foam, which make for a smooth ride over various terrain.

br /There are more bells and whisles than what I expected, it has a holder for phone or ipod, a peek through window, a nice sized tray for mom and baby (I don't tend to have much more than a cup of coffee/bottle of water with me, so I don't need a TV tray on my stroller). The baby's tray has a deep cup holder and is concave for snacks and not as shallow as other trays - nice for cheerios on tray and not floor. The basket is perfect for me, but I don't need a shopping cart stroller.
br /
br /The only thing I didn't like was that the seat doesn't lay completely down, but most kids don't have trouble sleeping sitting up, so its not a huge concern. The angle of the seat and the amount it does recline doesn't necessarily need it to lay back completely. And I read alot about the color of the fabric - I am having a girl and the color is just fine...its not too boyish - I was more impressed with its reflective quality than concerned about it being blue, besides my husband loves it and doesn't mind pushing it around because it looks cool....much better than asking him to push around a pink stroller.
br /
br /All and all, I love it. I wanted something metro, lightweight, easy to manuver, compact, and most importantly SAFE - this system fits the bill.

At first we were unsure this product would compare to the more know Graco strollers, but then after reading the reviews, I went ahead and bought it. This stroller is far better than the "plasticy"graco ones, feels real sturdy, and really simple to fold up and down.
br /I would highly recommend this stroller!!!

Love it!

I was looking at jogging strollers and travel systems for my 3rd baby (we wore out one of each with the first two). This stroller is a perfect combination of jogger/carseat combo in my opinion! This is by far the lightest stroller that we have tried and the easiest to maneuver. I can hold onto my 3 yr. old with one hand and still steer the stroller with no problem! I do a lot of outdoor walking and this stroller has proven itself to be just as capable as my old jogger of working on sidewalks, grass, and gravel without the hassle of having to air up the tires. I also like how the cover on the infant seat combines with the cover on the stroller to completely cover baby so that he is protected from the elements if needed. I did add a couple of strips of heavy duty black velcro to the back of the car seat cover when I realized that there was nothing holding it there and it stays perfectly in place now. I had to practice folding it two or three times to get the hang of it, but I love how it folds to a standing up position so that it can "stand" in the storage area behind the back seat of my minivan. It also took a little practice to get used to the clasp on the infant seat, but it's been no problem now that I'm used to it, and I like it a lot better than the old "over the head" buckle on my old seat that always seemed to get twisted up. The infant carrier is larger than I expected, but very easy to get in and out of the base and seems to be nice and comfy for my baby. I wish that I had had this stroller with my other two boys. I love it!

We just had our first baby and have no experience with strollers, car seats and such. We did a lot of research and were looking for a light-weight easy to use stroller. The Safety 1st acella stroller fits the bill perfectly. You can easily make a turn with one hand. Very manuverable.
br /
br /I cant say the samething about the carseat. It is heavy and with the baby in it, my wife struggles carrying it around during pediatrician visits.
br /The safety belt clip locking system is poorly designed. you have to align the 2 parts of the clip into one and then push it into the locking base until it snaps. I have to push the clip(s) VERY hard into the base.
br /With the baby in the carseat, this locking mechanism is a hassle. I have to be careful not to push into the baby's thighs while snapping the belt in place. Since this comes as a pair, buy this only for the stroller.

I bought this stroller 4 months ago, just before my son was born. We love the stroller, especially myself because the last thing that I wanted to worry about is a heavy stroller while carrying the car seat in the other hand. It is extremely light and easy to handle. I can carry the stroller in one hand and the baby in the other. I love the one hand closure and opening as well, it has come in handy on more than one occasion.

We went back and forth on what we thought would work for us. We wanted something lightweight, something that would work for a boy, would be easy to keep clean and easy to manuever. This stroller has all the above and more. I looked at tons of strollers and read all the reviews. I am so glad that we decided on this stroller. It's everything that you could ask for in a stroller. Yes its not a big name but believe me the big name strollers have nothing on this one. The pictures do not do justice. It's so easy to move around with the way the wheels are set up in front. Not like one of those joggers. The car seat is lightweight and has just the right amount of padding. Basket below is large enough to hold all the extra's you carry around with a baby. I was hesitant buying it since I didn't get to see it in person and try it out in a store, but I am glad that I read all the reviews written by everyone else. Our little boy isn't due until July but I can't wait to use it.

We purchased the stroller for our first baby.. and very very happy with it. Researched all the other strollers and were not happy with the little wheels and/or the prices. Came across this one at $119 and luved the look of it. After reading the reviews... luved it more.
br /
br /We have used it quite often over the past 6 weeks since our son was born and greatly enjoy it.
br /
br /One problem.. or puzzlement...
br /I unlock the front wheels and it swivels eradically... so I keep it locked and it is great... so no idea why someone would unlock them and what use they have unlocked ?
br /
br /My wife soon will jog and try this out as a jogger.. though think we need a dedicated jogger.
br /
br /But for a travel system.. we are very very happy and would recommend it.
br /
br /Easy in and out of the car and fits the newborn easily and absorbs the rocks and rolls from strolling in out neighborhood... though our son is a deep sleeper :)
br /
br /Great stroller and travel system and recommend it.

Very happy with the stroller and car seat. Stroller is a smoooth, comfortable ride with plenty of under carriage space for shopping and cup holders for mommies soda or water. A little bit of a pain to fold up and lug into trunk, but then again aren't they all.

This was a great deal for the price. I got it on sale for $111.00. The car seat is sturdy so the baby''s head isn't rolling around everywhere. The only problem with the car seat is that the sun shade comes off but its no big deal and easily fixable.
br /
br /The stroller is awesome but its kind of hard to turn right away, you kind of have to back it up. Like I said, it's a great deal for the price.

Loved Loved Loved it! Easy to open and close...easy to lock on infant carrier...love the sun shade...seems larger than most. Our little pumpkin is just now outgrown her infant carrier @ 9mos we are sad to see it go. Diaper bag fit easily in under storage compartment. Excellent cup holders...held her avent bottles great. Loved the three wheel configuration and the wider wheel base. Now that we have started to use the stroller part without the infant carrier...we are switching to her Chicco C1. The stroller portion just doesn't have enough recline on its own and the padding isn't that great. All in all it is a wonderful travel system,HTH.

We just finished putting the item together and taking it for a test drive. It is so easy to put together and is very smooth to operate. The car seat easily attaches to the stroller. As others have indicated, the sunshade is rather flimsy. Other than we love the stroller. The colors are great and very modern! We didn't want something with a crazy pattern. So this worked out perfect. We are expecting a boy, but the colors would work fine for a boy or a girl. The basket underneath is adequate to hold a diaper bag and a few other things. We are very pleased!

My daughter just had her first birthday and we are still so happy with this sroller. I had wanted a jogger when I was looking for a stroller pre-baby. What I wanted was hard to find. I wanted 2 things. A jogger that coud be used for everyday use and one that came as a travel system. Most true joggers have front wheel that doesn't swivel. I happened upon this one day in a Navy Exchange store and fell in LOVE with it!!! I purchased it on the spot. This is the one item I did not purchase before looking at all of the reviews. I checked those out after I bought it. Thankfully they were wonderful. I have considered buying an umbrella stroller to give a little more space in mt small SUV, but cannot do it. I LOVE this stroller!! My only wish is that the basket were a bit bigger, but I solved that by adding a couple of swivel hooks purchased at Babis R Us for $4 to hang shopping bags.
br /This is the best stroller. I will be using this until my daughter can no longer fit. She loves it. I love that I can put her Cheerios on the tray and sippy cup in the "little one's" cup older.

The Lock is Impossible -- Go for Something Else

Both my husband and I agree that this car seat is just awful. Such a pain. The clip that locks the baby in between the legs is the most maddening, annoying, poorly designed piece of equipment. I've had other people try to lock the thing together, to make sure it wasn't just me doing it improperly, but everyone has had the same experience: the seat is impossible.
br /
br /I have two children that are a few years older, and their car seat was so much simpler -- the strap came down over their heads and had a single buckle that you pushed right into the locking mechanism, which was built into the seat itself. For this contraption, there are two straps that go over each arm, then you have to fit two plastic pieces together just so and then wedge those into a free-floating buckle that never fails to flip backward as I am lowering my son into the seat so that it is completely underneath him, requiring fishing around under him while trying to hold the two pieces in place. We're lucky that we have a cooperative baby, because if your baby squirms or arches while trying to get him or her into the seat, forget it.
br /
br /I signed up for this system because there were so many good reviews, but I have to say, I fully regret this choice. After three months of dealing with this, we're looking for a new seat. I gave it two stars instead of one because the stroller is fine.

i have edited this review to remove the minor complaint about there not being instructions on how to install the car seat base. the explanation is that i am a moron: there is a separate manual for the car seat and base and i'd just overlooked it.
br /---
br /
br /1. i'm very happy we purchased this before the price shot up by $50. purchased it on sunday for $137, and it is at $187 now.
br /
br /2. it arrived today, and it took me less than 20 minutes to put it together. i emphasize this because i am not particularly good at putting things together. at first glance i thought the instructions were not detailed enough, but then i realized it was taking me no time at all anyway--it is a fairly intuitive process, and there are lots of reassuring clicks along the way so you know you've done things correctly.
br /
br /3. we're not going to be actually using this for another two months so i can't speak to practical use issues--i hope it will work as well as it looks (it's really quite a stylish combo, especially as compared to the graco systems). however, there is one thing that i can tell already will not work: the seat back can nominally be raised for a child that doesn't want to recline quite as much. however, given how little hand pressure it takes for it to release back to the default setting, i can't imagine it'll work with 22 pounds of weight pushing back on it. that said, the default recline setting is far from horizontal so i doubt it will be an issue.
br /
br /4. folding and unfolding is a breeze. no problems folding it with just one hand. just remember to lock the front and back wheels before folding so that it doesn't tip over.
br /
br /5. the release mechanism for the carrying handle of the car seat is a little fussy though--that's pretty much the one thing that doesn't just flow smoothly. i guess we'll know in two months whether that will be a big problem.
br /
br /6. the stroller and the infant seat are both light. but they also look and feel solid and safe. and did i say it is a very stylish stroller? this may be an issue for those looking for something very "kiddie"; this is not.
br /
br /7. i have given it four stars for now, because of the seat recline issue, and also because the car seat handle swivel mechanism isn't as smooth as the rest. also, i think it would be wrong to give it 5 stars at this point since we haven't actually used it yet. i'll reconsider the rating once we've got some real use from it in a couple of months.
br /
br /i'm happy to answer any questions people thinking about purchasing this may have, and i'll try to remember to come back and post once we actually have the cargo available.

Dgt. and son-in-law had given all their baby items away 6 years ago; however, as baby boy #3 developes, we purchased this easy-to-assemble stroller for him. Rolls smoothly, folds quickly/neatly/one-handed, solid, approved infant car seat/base very sturdy, and FREE shipping from Amazon. Wonderful gift which will "grow" with the infant-toddler.

I have not been able to use this system yet, but I got it yesterday! (very quick delivery!) Assembly was very easy I did it myself with no help from hubby! The only gripes I have are, the stroller seat doesn't lay all the way back and the visor on the carseat is flimsy. but other than that, I cannot wait to use this system.

This stroller was a snap to assemble. Although I wasn't thrilled it came in baby blue...it turned out to be perfect. A neutral color would be better, it IS baby blue. The stroller has many accessories and seems very sturdy. The car seat is a snap to latch in. I am very happy with my purchase at such a nice price!

I was very suprised by this travel system. It is a great light blue/black color, modern, easy to push around and very easy to assemble. The only issue I have is that it is a little difficult to buckle the five point harness on the car seat. You really have to push hard to get it all together. I am hoping that over time this will loosen up and buckle more easily. Other than that, nice system for the money and really sharp looking, especially for little boys.

I bought this item before I had the baby. Big mistake. The fastening mechanism for the car seat is awful. It took three of us to get the baby in there. You have to hold it together like a puzzle piece and then try to jam it into the lock with a wiggly infant. Nearly impossible. I had other people try it also and they all refused because it was so ackward. I couldn't return it so I ended up having to buy a whole new different system. I wish I had just invested the time money wisely to begin with.

Since our baby is due in less than 3 weeks, we decided to install the car seat in my car. It did not fit....well, it would of fit behind the passenger seat if the seat was all the way up. No one would have fit in that seat then. We are going to have to return this and buy another. It seemed like a great travel system and most of the reviews were quite positive, but it just isn't going to work for us. Plus, even if it did fit, it didn't seem safe.
