UPDATE: Now owned my BOB for one year and I STILL LOVE IT!!! It's holding up fantastic, still turns on a dime, nothing broken, creaking, squeaking, ripped or faded. My kids totally beat it up (food, mud, markers) and it still looks almost brand new. I hose it off every once in a while and that does the trick.
br /
br /First I want you to know that I have purchased or borrowed them all!!! I am my own mini consumer reports! LOL I have spent over $1600 on bad strollers.
br /
br /You name it, I've bought it or tried it. I have compared:
br /1) Graco Duo Rider tandem
br /2) The Peg Perego Duette (super expensive $750 and worst stroller ever made)
br /3) Peg Perego Aria Twin
br /4)Zooper twin side by side (not sure of the name)
br /5) Maclaren side by side
br /6) PhilTed double jogger that has the rear kid almost touching the ground (my kids HATED that) and after kid #2 is in back there is no basket room - are we joking?
br /7) Graco Duo Rider side by side
br /
br /The BOB Revolution Duallie ROCKED THE HOUSE compared to all the above and here's why....
br /
br /First of all I have a HUGE 4 year old (46 lbs and 45 inches) and a medium sized but hefty 3 year old (26 lbs and 37 inches). I can NOT feel the weight of my children when I push them in the BOB!!!!! Parents, you realize how incredible this is. The stroller is easier to push than my single stroller! And I am not exaggerating. That was the first thing that got me because frankly I was not interested in a jogger. AND....get this... my 3 year old does not make the stroller pull to one side, even when he rides solo!!! I had such a problem with this in all the other strollers it was such a chore to push the kids that i didn't take them anywhere. This was the case with each of the other strollers, but especially the case with the Graco Duo rider tandem and the Peg Perego Duette (both took an act of God to turn).
br /
br /The other thing I love are the HUUUGE sun canopies, they are independent of each other and practially cover my children completely and since my kids hate direct sunlight this was a must, must, must.
br /
br /Next I am sure you want to know how it turns....FANTASTIC! I strolled it all around the store when buying it and it could totally get in and out of isles without bumping everything off the shelves. This shocked me. And it does absolutely make it through doorways, a little tricky but it does. The only way to describe the way it turns is to quote my husband "it's like butter" :) It is seriously the smoothest ride ever!! I am so excited about it after going through so many strollers that were such a pain.
br /
br /Also each seat gives my hefty children plenty of room width-wise which doesn't make sense because they are almost the same dimensions as the others, magic I tell you. They don't look scrunched at all. They HATED the McClaren side by side whatever-its-called, and I hated it too frankly. I was stuggling even in the store and my kids were begging to get out, so cramped very hard to push. I felt this way with the Peg Perego Twin Aria too and was shocked because I LOVE my Peg Pergo Pilko P3. First I could have sworn the Twin Aria was going to snap when I turned, extremely flimsy, and my then two year old was cramped and complaining.
br /
br /That's another thing about the Bob, that sucker is really solid. It is very well made and has stood the test of time. There is very little (if any) plastic used. EVERY other stroller mentioned above is made of a lot of plastic that was showing wear after a short period of time.
br /
br /The shocks on the BOB are better than my car, I swear. It glides along and ever so slightly bounces up and down while you push as the movement of pushing is enough to send the shocks absorbing it. It's not a nusance at all if that's what your thinking, it actually makes pushing easier.
br /
br /The under basket is not the best, but considering everything, they have made the most of it. Also there are two decent sized baskets on the back of each seat. I have not had any problems like I thought I would and I pack a change of clothes for each, lunch for three of us, dolls, power rangers, etc and I have always been good. I do HIGHLY recommend the handle bar console/cup holder. Without it I was lost. It stores my keys, phone, wallet and two water bottles.
br /
br /As for the height of the seat area itself, my son only keeps growing taller (now 46 inches and counting) and he still fits with no complaints and believe me he would say something :)
br /
br /Anyway, I hope this helps all your parents who are making the very stressful "perfect stroller" choice. Learn from my mistakes! :) Also, I do wish I had initially purchased the fuzzy seat covers - mostly to protect the seats from the inevitable spills, squished PBJ sandwiches, etc. :)
br /
br /If I had purchased this stroller two years ago, things would have been a lot different. I know this stroller will last me a looong time. I will never buy a small compact stroller again after this.
br /

A great option for a double stroller.

We bought this shortly after our son was born. Since our daughter was only 14 1/2 mo. at the time, we needed something that would last a while since they would both need to be in a stroller for quite some time. I have been very happy with this stroller so far. We also bought the adapter kit to use with my son's car seat (a Graco SafeSeat). Here's what I have discovered.
br /
br /1. The thing is REALLY hard to get open. I have developed this flip technique for opening it that seems to amaze some people. It doesn't stay closed unless you wrap the emergency brake strap around it. It is also really heavy and quite large. We ended up buying a larger vehicle so that I could haul more than just the stroller in the back end. This stroller is not for a small person, or someone with a small car.
br /
br /2. It fits through most doors nicely. It also fits through most aisles easily.
br /
br /3. It maneuvers like a dream. Much better than my single Graco. I can steer it one handed and it can turn on a dime.
br /
br /4. It doesn't work well with my SafeSeat. I assume that it would work better with smaller infant seats, but the SafeSeat is so big that it never really rests correctly on the adapter. When my son turned 6 mo., I started putiing him in it without the car seat and he sits great in it.
br /
br /5. You really need to buy the console to go on the handlebars, although the pockets on the back are nice. I also tend to store stuff in the canopies because I am inside with it so much that they are rarely open fully.
br /
br /All in all I am happy with this stroller. There are a few drawbacks (hence the 4 out of 5 stars) but they are outweighed by the performance of the product. I don't really use this as a jog stroller, but the few times I have, it has worked great as well.
br /
br /A good option if you can afford it.

Wow A Great stroller

I researched for the perfect stroller. I wanted a double stroller that could work with a car seat. I bought this along with the car seat attachment. It is very smooth, easy to fold. It took a bit to install the car seat attachment, but once it is installed you will never have to remove it. It has plenty of room for a car seat and 2 year old. The only complant I have is that it is hard to put a diaper bag under the kids, so just buy one that can strap to the handle bars. This is the most I have spent on anything for the kids, but it was work every penny.
br /
br /I use it with the Graco Safeseat. It works great.

br /
br /This stroller does not disappoint. The wheels are perfect for neighborhood walking. We do not head to the beach with it, but it does great on grass and park areas. It looks nice and the kids are comfy.

This stroller is very easy to maneuver around the bumpy streets and the mall. My 2 1/2 years old and my 5 month old love the stroller. Very nice comfortable seat. The 5 point harness seatbelt is great to keep them safe and in place. I love this stroller. Even my Dad who pushed this stroller when we were at the mall was amazed how light it was to push around. The swivel front wheel lets you get around tight corners. Best double stroller.

I recently purchased this double stroller and could not be happier. I have a 2.5 year old and a 2 month old.
br /They are both very comfortable in their seats and the ride is so smooth. It is so easy to push and steer that you can practically do it with one hand. The suspension system make for a very smooth ride even over rougher sidewalks, grass, etc. I would highly recommend this stroller!

I hesitated spending the money for this stroller. After reading all of the reviews I decided it must be worth it. I was right! The stroller came 95% assembled---all I had to do was put the wheels on which took no time at all! I took my two year old and 3 month old daughters on a walk immediately. I knew it was a good stroller when they were both fast asleep within 15 minutes. The stoller pushes with ease and absorbes shocks great. The seats recline much further than any stroller I've ever seen so your little ones can take a nap without 'chicken neck'. The shades are independent so if one is taking a nap and one is awake, they can have the shades at different levels. The shades block out the sun greatly---even my 3 month old daughter could recline and not get the late afternoon sun in her eyes. I can't tell you how happy I am with this stroller. I wish I would have bought it a month ago! It is sooooo worth the money.

Great double stroller...however...

I LOVE this stroller-it's just what everyone else says it is, but I am not happy with a few things:
br /
br /1) It's HEAVY
br /2) There is no "clip" mechanism to hold it in a folded position-I would NEVER attempt to travel with it (I know, it's a jogger-but this one claims to be a "city" jogger
br /3) It's EXPENSIVE-I am scared to take it anywhere like Disneyland or Sea World because it would get stolen
br /
br /Other than that-it's great. You feel like you're pushing nothing-you can push and steer with one hand. The separate strap-on cup holder attachment is a must. Overall, the best jogger I could find.

The BOB Revolution Duallie is the single best double stroller that is sold! I got one for my twins (4 months old now) and have been using it since they were 6 weeks old. I don't use it to jog as the babies aren't old enough yet, but we walk around our neighborhood, the park, ballgames, the lake and anywhere else. It is very easy to push and manuever and my twins are very comfy. My husband loved that it pushes so easy in the grass on gravel and anywhere else! I also have a 4 1/2 year old daughter, she is very comfortable in this stroller also with one baby and I wear the other baby. It is still easy to push and maneuver and she weighs 40 lbs! It doesn't push unevenly at all. The seats are easy to recline and the canopy is the bomb! I purchased a mosquito netting for a double stroller and have used it all summer with this stroller, it has worked very well.
br /I just purchased a Baby Planet double unity stroller for a more "umbrella type" stroller for the twins and I really like it. It doesn't push nearly as well as the bob, but for an umbrella, it does well. The babies are comfortable and safe and it is easier to fold, load and unload. My 4 year old daughter can ride in it also as each seat is rated for 55 lbs. I have not tried her in it though.
br /This BOB stroller is heavy, but it is excellent quality. I have a suburban and have plenty of room to take it with us with luggage, etc... It is well worth the money - I get compliments on it where ever I take it and anyone that has pushed it has loved it! The cup holder addition is a must - I have to admit I was disappointed in the cup holder addition when I first saw it, but it is great! I love the middle zippered pouch in it also.
br /The only bad part about this stroller if you are using it for twins is you can not get 2 infant car seat adaptors to go in this stroller. I solved that problem by buying a cheapo baby trend frame for the mall etc.. when I didn't want to take them out of their seats.

love my BOB duallie

Did a lot of research before purchasing this double stroller. I now have three daughters (5, 3 and 3 mos)and wanted something great for outside walks but also to use in malls. This stroller fits through our house doorways and makes moving around the mall a breeze. When walking around our neighborhood, one of my older girls will walk and I can hold her hand and steer the stoller easily with one hand. Just got this stroller a month ago and have not had any problems. Looking forward to cruising around parks, malls, neighborhood with ease.

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!
br /Pros: Manuverability, Quality construction, Huge sun canopies, pivoting front wheel w/ lock feature (for jogging), easy to fold. Very easy to go up curbs.
br /Cons: Price. No hand brake. A bit heavy (but I guess u have to expect this w/ well constructed double stroller).
br /I swore I'd never spend so much on a stroller but after lots of research, it seemed the BOB was the only way to go since I have "big" babies and want to get at least a couple of years use out of it. My 2 1/2 yr old is 40 lbs and 40 inches and he fit very comfortably. He loved to sit in it. My 6 month old is 25 lbs and seemed very happy as well. My only concern was the harness straps were attached to the seat right above my younger son's ears. Although they were cushioned, I still put a thin blanket behind this head and over the straps so that his head wouldn't touch the straps directly. Other than that, my husband and I are both thrilled w/ the stroller. The best feature is how easy it is to push, as others have mentioned. I was so excited to be able to drink my coffee from one hand and push my boys with the other. Also, the cup holder attachement (sold separately) is a must!!!. The zippered pouch was perferct for a wallet, camera and cell phone. I have a fairly inexpensive Baby Trend single jogger which has a hand brake, and it's so handy when going down hills. I really wish the BOB had this feature, if it did it would be the perfect stroller.
br /
br /Oh a finaly word of caution. I tend to load up my baby bag and hang it around the handle bars. However, if it's too heavy the stroller can tip backward, especially if no one is sitting in it or just a small child is in it. Not really a design flaw of the stroller, since I guess you're suppose to load your baby stuff in the under seat compartment.
br /

Even better than I expected!

I took my new stroller out today for the first time. It was like smooth "butta." I have been heaving around a Graco double stroller for the last year and the BOB was a dream come true. It does "turn on a dime" like everyone says. It pushes like it's the weight of a feather. I locked the wheel in jog mode, I stepped four feet in front of it (while it was holding my 1 and 2 year old children) to try and eye the wheel to see if it was locked straight, and the wind gently blew it that four feet toward me!
br /
br /We were playing around with it last night when it arrived and my 7 and 6 year olds hopped in it for a quick ride. They are probably more than the weight requirements, but I could hardly tell I was pushing any weight at all!!!
br /
br /It is truly fantastic. I am a tried and true tester of strollers, double and single, and you can't go wrong with this purchase! Don't waste money on the cheaper versions, just save up for this. It is absolutely worth it!

I had a hard time convincing myself to buy this stroller because of the price but it is worth every penny and more!!! I began using this stroller when my girls were three months old (with a towel folded under their bums) and the straps hold them in nice and tight. It turns on a dime. I can steer with one hand and drink coffee with the other which is unheard of with a tandem (front/back) stroller. The seats are comfortable, the canopies are individual and provide excellent sun coverage. The seats recline, not flat, but far enough that my girls sleep very comfortably. I can easily see them through the clear "roof". It is light and is easy to load/unload into the car. I have been able to get this through every door I have tried and find that maneuvering in shops is much easier than expected. Even though my tandem Graco is narrower, it is so hard to steer that is it no more maneuverable. We take daily walks over sand, dirt trails, and concrete sidewalks with great ease. I take it rollerblading (Bob does not recommend this) but it works great. I am 5'9" and do not have to stoop to push my BOB like I do with my other strollers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller!!

Excellent!
