I had previously purchased the Combi Counterpart tandem stroller when I had a second child. Twice in the span of 2 months the wheels BENT after folding up the stroller! What a hunk of junk!!!!
br /
br /So I invested a little more money after MUCH research ended up buying the brand new Baby Planet Unity stroller. Holy Cow - it ROCKS! The steering is amazing (think one-handed steering!) and it just feels really substantial. It's a bit on the heavy side - around 25 lbs - but to me that's so worth it for all the quality you get. It's about 2-3 lbs heavier than the Maclaren Twin Techno but has a much better handlebar. I test drove both of them myself and really just loved this one better over all.

I bought this stroller for my recent trip to Disney World with my 3 1/2 year old almost 2 year old. I needed a new double stroller b/c they were just getting too big for the Graco Duoglider. My son kept pulling my daughter's hair kicking her in the back. Plus he was just too big to really fit in that back seat anymore. I also wanted something more compact to travel with. They rent strollers in Disney but for the price I would've spent while I was there, it paid for 1/2 the stroller. Plus the ones at Disney are plastic so they really don't look very comfortable I wanted my son to nap every day.
br /
br /I did a lot of research into which stroller to get. I wanted one with a high weight limit since my daughter is going on 4. This one holds 55 lbs in each seat plus 10 lbs in the baskets. Believe me it holds even more than that. I wanted a lighter stroller. This one is about 27 lbs which isn't the lightest but it is more compact than the Duoglider so it is a lot easier to lift up. The weight really wasn't an issue for traveling.
br /
br /I wanted a stroller with storage. This one has 2 decent size baskets on the bottom. I was able to fit my diaper bag which isn't tiny on 1 side another bulky bag on the other. Plus there are bars which go across underneath the main part of the baskets. Under those bars I was able to fit our lightweight jackets some other small items. Plus having the center handle on top makes it easy to drape bags over it. We definitely utilized every inch of this stroller on our trip. The cupholders are also a nice addition which some other strollers do not offer. We made sure we removed them before we checked the stroller at the gate.
br /
br /My children love the stroller. It was nice getting a new stroller b/c my 3 1/2 year old will find any excuse not to sit in one. She liked the fact that she could get in out of it when she wanted to. She also loves sitting next to her brother. I love the 5 point harness straps. They are so much simpler than the DuoGlider's. They kept my son in even when he squirmed his way out of the shoulder straps, he still was held in by the waist ones. Plus you only need one hand to release the straps. The seats seem very comfortable. The canopies work well. They pop off in the center every so often but we kept opening closing the stroller we kept the jackets on the bottom so we don't know if maybe that was why. They are easy to get back on though. They don't completely block the sun. It would be nice if they weren't attached int he back so you could put them lower at times. The seats almost recline to fully flat. My son took a nap everyday in the stroller. My daughter who never naps period, also napped in this stroller. The only thing is that I had to remove the bags from the basket in order to have the seats fully reclined but then I was able to hang both bags over the top handle.
br /
br /The forward middle wheel seems like a great idea too. I never walked into the wheel. When testing the strollers in the store, I purposely took a longer stride did notice with the McClaren you did hit into the wheel. I don't know if this would really be a selling point but it seems like a nice feature. I also do love the center handle. It is not easy to steer with 1 hand when I had the stroller fully loaded but when one or both of the children were not sitting it was very easy to do it with 1 hand. Plus I find that when I am stopped with the stroller I like to lean on it which you would not be able to do with the McClarens.
br /
br /The stroller folds pretty compactly. It is a little tight when you first get it probably does really need to be broken in. We opened folded it a ton of times on this trip. It is easy to do it quickly but you do need both hands free. Opening it is a little more difficult b/c there are 2 locks on both sides that you have to open so it is a little awkward to do it by yourself. You also have to push the stroller forward at the same time. I am sure with more practice it will get easier. My husband didn't really seem to have a problem. The wheel locks on the stroller are also so easy to do. My Duoglider used to be so difficult to unlock. This one is not.
br /
br /I just love the stroller. I am so happy I purchased it. I needed a new stroller but was hesitant b/c of my daughter's age. I still felt that she was too young for me to go to a mall by myself have her walking while still having my son in a stroller. I think this will give us more years to have her safely in a stroller when we go out. I purchased the charcoal color which is a very nice looking stroller. I only wish I purchased it years ago.

I did tons of research before purchasing this... I could find only limited info on both the company website and customer reviews. I emailed the company with some questions and received a reply within hours. This stroller is better than any I tested in the stores including maclaren and peg perego. It can be stiff opening and closing but it certainly isn't difficult. I am 5'4" and barely 100 lbs and I have no problem with it in and out of the trunk. The center wheel is slightly ahead of the others in the rear and really makes a difference as far as not tripping over it. Even my husband has commented that it's easier to push than our peg perego. I took the belly pads off because they kept falling off but it's fine because most strollers don't come with them anyway. And it really does fit right through a standard door. I have a 2 year old and 7 month old. They both fit comfortably. I really am pleased with the stroller and would recommend it.

I have a 3 year old and a one year old and was looking to replace my tandem stroller with a side by side. I did a lot of research, and although I spent a lot more than I had planned to spend, I am not sorry! I absolutely love this stroller! I love that the weight limits go up to 55 lbs each. We should be able to use it for a couple of years. My kids don't want to get out of it. The 3 year old said that it is very comfortable, and the 1 year old cried hysterically when I had to take him out of it to put it in the car. We took it to the mall today. It easily fit through all doors and through narrow clothing aisles. The cup holders came in handy for drinks. The baskets held my very large diaper bag without a problem. I love that it literally turns on a dime. The double handle is great for tall or petite parents, and it's very soft and comfortable. It folds up very nicely (a little stiff at first, but is getting easier as it gets broke in). It's a little heavy, but not near as heavy as my Graco tandem stroller. It's a very attractive stroller. My only complaint would be that the frame is not red, but silver. I thought the red looked really neat in the picture, but mine is actually silver. It still looks nice. I would highly recommend!

This stroller is great because it has the one-hand steering so I can push my twins and hold my toddlers hand. I haven't seen this in another mid-price stroller. I think it only compares to the Twin Techno McClaren (it has similar price and construction- folds the same way, etc.) and outpaces it in several ways;
br /
br /- I think it looks much better
br /- It is much more sturdy-feeling which gives it a more quality appearance than the McClaren
br /- Has cup holders
br /- The seats are much more padded and adjust to any postion not just five
br /- The belts are much easier to use- not as flimsy and twisted up- and have more practical padding.
br /
br /However, this could use the shock absorbant wheels and the UV protection on the canopies to completely outpace the McClaren. It is also is a little heavy and cumbersome to fold, but I attribute this to what appears to be sturdier, better materials used to make it. The McClaren beside it just looks flimsy. It could use a snack tray too and baskets that accomodate larger diaper bags.
br /
br /Overall, I would strongly recommend this stroller to any parent, particularly one with more than two children, multiples or someone who walks a pet.

I bought this stroller after having much difficulty with a Sit n Stand. This stroller is great! It turns very easily, almost one-handed. The storage baskets are large enough to fit a large diaper bag, which is great for a side-by-side. Seats recline almost flat, so it's excellent for napping and diaper changes. I have an almost 3 yr old and a 4 month old, and this stroller works well for both of them. I really like that my daughter has a seat to nap. With the Sit n Stand, I'd end up carrying her, and trying to maneuver the stroller one handed. Almost impossible! I was pleasantly surprised when my stroller arrived because the box was smaller than I expected. It folds very small for a side-by-side. One handed fold, two handed unfold. A bit hard to unfold, until you break it in. Weighs about 27 lbs, which may be heavy but is not much more than some of the larger single strollers like the Graco Quattro. Feels very sturdy.
br /
br /A couple of things that may need improvement(which is why I give it 4 stars), but nothing that would make me change my mind about buying this stroller. The crotch pad falls off if you don't secure the velcro together and the canopies have a tendency to come off when unfolding (but it's easy to slide back on). I also wish that the frame was red, like in the picture, but it's silver.
br /
br /I love that Amazon shipping rates are so low. Living in Hawaii, my options are so limited, so this was a great purchase for me.

I have had this stroller for about 2 weeks now. My girls love it. (They are 3 and 1). I think it is a good stroller but not great. It is easy to push once going and folds relatively easy. What I don't like is the turning ability of this stroller. It is very difficult to turn especially when going slowly or going in/out doorways. It is OK when you have a bit of momentum. It really isn't a 'one hand push' stroller - if you are going straight on an even surface not too bad, but anything else and I find you have very little control.
br /
br /I would also hate to push the stroller when loaded to full capacity. I am lucky that my girls are small - they total less than 50lbs.
br /
br /I do love that it fits through all standard doors (even in Manhattan) and in my small elevator. I like the storage space even though it has the weird cross bars in the baskets. I like the position of the cupholders on the handle. The height of the handle is great even for my 6ft husband.

This stroller is the best double stroller. If you want something easy to push, comfortable for your kids, and folds like an umbrella stroller, this is it! I have a 2 month old and a 2 and a half your old, and this is perfect for them. This stroller is the size of my single jogging stroller, thats pretty narrow for a double. I love this stroller!

After reading many reviews and visiting BRU numerous times, I decided on this stroller. I've had it now for a few months. My twins are 4.5 months old.
br /
br /Pros:
br /1. Turns on a dime -- and you can lock the front wheels if you're on rough terrain.
br /2. cupholders for mom and dad.
br /3. folds down pretty easily.
br /4. not overly heavy.
br /5. both seats lay back almost flat.
br /
br /Cons:
br /1. Bins below are hard to access, but you can still shove quite a bit in.
br /2. No trays for the kids.

I searched and searched for the perfect umbrella style double stroller for my girls, now 2 and 11 months. I really thought I had found it in this stroller and was so excited to get it and try it out.
br /
br /I liked the idea of the "room to walk" wheel, as my husband in particular always has issues with his feet hitting the wheels on strollers. And I liked the idea of the center handlebar. But, all in all, this stroller just didn't work for us. First of all, it does not fold down as compactly as I had hoped. Because we drive a sedan (a 2004 Passat), I needed something that would fit in the trunk but not take up the entire thing. This did fit in the trunk, but with very little room for anything else. I also thought that in comparison to others I have seen, this stroller is pretty heavy. That isn't a huge issue for me, as the majority of the time you are pushing a stroller, not carrying it. Also, the steering I found to be awkward. It was well balanced with the weight difference (my 2 year old is 31 pounds and my 11 mth old is 21 lbs), but I felt that a wider handlebar would have eased steering immensely. The biggest factor for me though was that this stroller has fairly narrow seats and my 2 year old hated being in it. (and she is a child who loves to stroll)
br /
br /It does have some very nice features too, but ultimately we ended up returning it and going with the Chicco Twin C5-which we love.
br /
br /Pros:
br /-cupholders, which are a rare find
br /-the canopies are very full and nice
br /-looks wise, it is a very attractive stroller
br /-it is very sturdy and seems like it would withstand a lot of use
br /-the room to walk wheel does make the stride a lot nicer, for both me (at 5'5") and my husband (at 6'3")
br /-weight limits of 55lbs per seat-this was a big selling point for me, as my kids are both tall and heavy for their ages
br /
br /Cons:
br /-it does not fold very compactly
br /-steering can be difficult because of the narrow handle bar
br /-narrow seats
br /-a personal con for us, that our daughter hated it
br /-the baskets have a cross bar on top of the actual basket-it was designed this way, but I think it makes the baskets much more difficult to use (and they are not user friendly as it is)
br /
br /All in all, it is a great concept that could use just a little tweaking. I loved some of the things about this stroller, but it just did not end up working for us. And while the Chicco Twin C5 is not nearly as sturdy as this one, it has worked out perfectly for us-it is tall enough for my husband, fits well in the trunk of our car, the kids love it and it handles beautifully. For someone who is looking for something nice on a bit of a friendlier budget, that is a fantastic stroller option.

I bought this Baby Planet Unity Sport for my twins that are 5 months old. I have a BOB Duallie Revolution and LOVE it! But, it is too big for malls, etc.. so I needed an umbrella type stroller. We chose this one after much researching due to the small wheel in the middle back to make it easier to walk and the handle, and we liked the way it looked -- it looked a bit more "sturdy" than the Maclaren. I am happy with it over all, my babies love to be in it and seem very comfy. It is not as easy to steer as my BOB jogger, but is ok - it is a bit large for going in between racks, the wheels would get caught in small stores --- BUT, when you have twins, you don't have a choice--it is way easier to maneuver than a front/back stroller. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase - love the ease of folding and unfolding.

The delivery was fast and didn't take long for assembly. I have a 2 year old and a 5-month old and this stroller is great for our everyday use to the park, grocery stores and post office. The stroller fits fine in the doorways, and is easy to manuever if you have to open the door by yourself. The seats adjust independantly so it's great when one child wants to sleep and the other is wide awake! As for closing and storing, it is easy. About 4 steps to fold and it fits easily in to my car trunk. I did a lot of research for which type of stroller we wanted and I am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend to anyone who is busy and likes convienence.

As mentioned before, the seat belt cover falls off easily and it's difficult to open up until you use it a while. The fact that it's mostly recyclable is a real plus in our throwaway society. The pros outweigh the cons, the wheels are durable, unlike our old stroller. Don't have enough time to write a full review, let's just say I'd buy it again.

This is truly the BEST double stroller you can get for this price point. Turns on a dime, even ONE HANDED!( ok, if you're looking at this you've got two kids, right? how often are they BOTH going to be sitting complacently in the stroller?, you can actually be holding one kid and easily be steering this with the other kid in it.)Fits through any doorway, folds quick and easy, holds up to 50 lbs per seat, plus lots more in the large and easily accessible spaces below, parent drink holders, seats fully recline( both my kids ages 3 4 1/2 have taken naps in it- at the same time!)I have had this for over a year, through two big vacations(disneyworld, and arizona)and frequently go to local zoos, museums, malls, and amusement parks, it has never let me down even though I use it very hard. I love this stroller.

I purchased the Unity Double stroller in early August. I was very, very unhappy and disappointed with this stroller for the following reasons:
br /
br /**The canopies are small and do not pivot, which means my 8 month old twins are usually in full or partial sun.
br /**The stroller is extremely difficult to open and close. Really, really difficult. I was an engineer and my husband is in maintenance and it was a struggle each time we tried. Repeated tries do not "ease it up". This is beyond frustrating.
br /**And lastly the stroller is very very heavy. And the weight is exaggerated because there is not a good place to grasp the stroller once folded.
br /
br /This stroller was a stretch for my family of five's budget. I am a stay at home mother of multiples, and really wanted to buy "only one more stroller" that would last until they no longer needed to be in a stroller. Due to the complaints listed above, there is no way I could commit to a few years of dragging this stroller in and out of my vehicle several times a day.
br /
br /I am disappointed in the product and the response I have received from your company. I contacted Baby Planet customer service to have a box sent to me so I could return the stroller to the distributor from Amazon. It took over 2 weeks to get the box. I contacted the rep (there is only one) in customer service at least 3 times and on each occasion she was less than courteous. When I expressed all of my concerns listed above, the response was "I have always enjoyed working here". While I am sure this is true, it was irrelevant to my complaints about the product and service I was receiving.
br /To date, I received nothing but a "sorry you did not like our product" from Baby Planet. I am now forced to pay a very large shipping fee to return the product as well as the restocking fee from the Amazon website company.

For the price, this stroller is definitely not worth the money. The sun hoods do not pivot, so when you face the sun, your children are in direct sunlight, and there is nothing to do to fix this. The stroller is also incredibly heavy and is very awkward to pick up. I am not a happy customer and am in the process of returning it.

Lets cut to the chase with this unit.
br /
br /Pros:
br /- Compact, fits through most all doors and is ok for shopping
br /- Great Sun Shades, you can flip them all the way forward to the point where they are resting on the lap of the child and fully covered.
br /- Deep storage pockets under the seat.
br /- Cup holders
br /
br /Cons -
br /- You must have a smooth surface or the stroller is a bear to handle. If your sidewalks are heaving, bumpy or being encroached by grass and dirt, you will have difficulty moving this stroller.
br /- NOT FOR POWER WALKING AT ALL - TOO HARD TO CONTROL
br /- Tall people (6" plus) kick the center back wheel when walking
br /- Handle is too low for the tall people (again 6" plus) you have to slouch
br /- It is not agile at all. You must put forth effort to turn sharp or quick.
br /- One side is narrower than the other
br /- 5 point harness is difficult to adjust. It fits too loose for our daughter who is small framed. Yes, it holds her in but only loosely.
br /- When folded, it is still large and a bit heavy for the smaller framed people of the world
br /
br /I would not buy this stroller again nor recommend it to any other parents For the money any jogger is the way to go with a twin umbrella stroller for shopping or travel if the jogger is too large to come along.
br /
It's a great stroller so long as you don't ever need to transport it.

I was so excited when we ordered this stroller for our 6 month 2 1/2 yr old boys) Loved the design and color.. We read the reviews and had decided there was more positive reviews and made our purchase. We had high hopes.. but sadly this stroller is not what we had hoped for.. Out of the box.. after my husband built it, we noticed that the logo on the seat was stiched upside down.. (NOT WORTH RE-PACKAGING AND SHIPPING BACK) It is really hard to open close (Has not loosened up much with time) It is also heavier then the other double strollers we looked at. I find myself avoiding errands and/or stops, unless my husband is with me to deal with the stroller. Defeats the reason for having a double stroller.. We removed the center strap covers the first day.. The canopies do pop off with almost every use. Once you get it opened and all the peices reattached it moves fine.. But not worth the price paid..
A good stroller, with some flaws.

Before I bought this stroller for my 19 month-old and 5 month-old daughters, I searched for weeks for the "RIGHT" stroller. I read many reviews and tested a dozen of strollers. I was so happy to see how compact the box this stroller came in. I liked it a lot at first. It's relatively light, sturdy, easy to maneuver, fits through standard size doors, has great design, with seats that are easy to adjust and can recline to an almost-flat position, and best of all my daughters can sit next to each other and I get not 1 but 2 cup holders. The folding mechanism is relatively easy; it takes a lot of force in the beginning to bend but it gets easier with time. It has a split basket that has metal bars across the bottom, so you really can't fit much underneath. The first day I had it one of the cup holders broke as I was trying to squeeze through a narrow corridor. I was glad to receive a free replacement from the manufacturer and a nice apology. Soon after, both cup holders broke while the stroller was stowed in the trunk of my car. I guess the body of the stroller pressed against the cup holders that are very weak and wrongly positioned. I guess you can't have everything. Baby Planet charges for additional cup holders and shipping too. The red frame only exists in pictures on-line, the red stroller has silver frame.

I just received this stroller in the mail and am very happy with it. I am expecting my second son any day, and have an 18 month old son. I've already taken him for a couple walks in it, so he gets used to it and he really likes it. It's so easy to steer and turn, much easier than any other strollers that I tried out in Babies R Us. It is a little hard to fold up, but I've read other reviews that say after a few times of folding it, it gets "worn in" I highly recommend this stroller.
