I got this seat in the sahara pattern (see my pictures I uploaded) I love it. It is soft, plush and very simple to use. Good canopy, easy to use 5pt harness with front adjustment, easy to carry and move handle- no complaints from me! The base has a great feature that allows you to secure the Latch system by pulling on a central belt in the center of it. SOOOO much easier than trying to pull on the LATCH belts themselves. The base does not budge when installed in my '05 Saturn Vue. The seat is simple to snap in from any angle. It goes right in every time. Never misses or gets stuck. Plus it has a liquid leveler on it just like on a "real tool level" that shows if it is at the right angle. Not some cheap ball or dial. I got the seat with the cortina stroller which I also love. We have only used it a few weeks but I have seen no problems yet. I would recommend this along with the stroller.

We own this carseat as part of the travel system and we have loved it. I hang out with a LOT of other mothers and have observed many different types of carseats, and I have to say that this one appears to be one of the more/most comfortably designed seats. The Preggo seats made the babies sit up too high and their heads would fall forward; some Graco were too deep and the baby would be almost folded in half! This seat seems just perfect and my daughter has never complained about being put in it. The straps adjust very easily when putting your child in and out, and the material is just great - very easy to wipe off and clean! I'd highly recommend this seat!
Love it! Love it! Love it!

We got this set as a gift and we absolutely LOVE IT! We have the whole travel system and it's like the "cadillac" of infant seats and strollers. We could not be more thrilled with it. I really liked the way that it "hugged" my daughter as a newborn and now even as an 11 month old. It has so much padding all around her body and I feel like she's really safe in it. Everything on it operates easily and never gets stuck or hard to use. It's so lightweight and the base is super easy to install, especially with the latch system. It's very easy to clean. The only thing I would modify about it a little is how far the little shade comes over the seat. I do wish it had covered a little more area but it still works great! The system is a little more pricey than others but it is so worth it!!!! Everyone I know that has this system is absolutely thrilled with it! The strolled is fabulous too! You'll love it if you get it. I was very disappointed to discover that Chicco doesn't make car seats for the next stage up. Oh well! Hope this helps you!

After tons of research, I picked the Chicco Keyfit in Iceberg and the matching stroller. We also have three bases.
This carseat was easy and accurate to install. The levels made you feel confident that you had it "right" and I also liked the ease of the latch installation (although we only have latch in grandma's vehicle) and the directions were very clear.
We have bases in three vehicles and I love that you can level out the base with the orange levers, it's quick and makes the seat fit much better. It fits well in my car or my husband's SUV.
The seat and it's matching stroller are so lightweight yet sturdy. I was very impressed with the quality from the moment we received it. I love that it comes with an infant insert, so you don't have to buy all kinds of infant head supports, etc. The support moves up to adjust for baby's increasing height, and adjusting the straps and the head support in the seat is a snap. I didn't even need to directions.
I also like that the seat is a neat color and we get compliments on it all the time. It's nice to have the little pull belt that tightens and releases the straps around our daughter's body, so we get a custom fit every time, depending on if she has on a jacket or hood or not. Very safe.
Our Car Seat Tech at the hospital was VERY impressed with this seat and said it was the safest one she has ever seen in person. She actually called in other nurses to see it. Because it isn't carried in stores in my area, I took a bit of a gamble purchasing it without ever seeing it in person, but I was not disappointed. We have been using the travel system for 3 months and are VERY pleased!

I did a lot of research before I decided on this one and I think that for the money, it is one of the best. The thing that first drew me to the car seat was the plushness of the infant padding compared to other car seats. I hate to see babies in car seats that look like they are folded in half and their heads aren't supported. My baby has always fit very comfortably in this seat and has never minded being put in it. In fact, he slept in it for about the first 2 or 3 weeks because he didn't like being in his crib. My baby is 6 months old now and weighs nearly 19 pounds and is 26" and he still fits in it just fine. The seat has worn exremely well. After 6 months of use it still looks brand new.
Getting the baby in and out of the car seat is very easy and the straps do not tangle. It also clicks in and out of the base with no problems. We have loved the stroller and car seat so much that we have purchased many other Chicco products - portable high chair, full size high chair, play yard, baby carrier, and the C5 stroller.
Car seat too deep

While the stroller is nice and easy to fold (although it doesn't fold small), the car seat is too deep. The prior reviews are a bit disturbing as I can't imagine anyone who had nothing to gain would say "it's not too deep". Getting our baby in and out is difficult and he's nearly folded in half. After three months, we're in the market for a new car seat. Also, don't be fooled by the infant insert. It lacks substance. You can buy a very good head/body insert at most baby stores for $10-$20.
Great seat so far!

Chicco KeyFit Infant Car Seat Iceberg. My baby is 2 weeks old and so far, I really like this Infant seat. The cushions that come with it are great for a little baby's head and gives good support that you don't need anything else. Also comes w/ shoulder strap cushions. Our son was 6lbs, 5 oz when we left the hospital and he fit just fine. Also, we have the stroller and the seat fits great in it Chicco Ct0.1 Stroller Explorer.Definitely a plus to have both. Only thing I don't like about the seat is the umbrella cover is not very big, but you can pull it forward (and unvelcro the back) to adjust if needed. Not that big of a deal!

This car seat is fantastic. I love the one button push to get the car seat out of the base and how easy the car seat snaps into the base. The level is helpful in installation and knowing whether the position of the car seat is safe or not. I like the nylon material interior of this car seat because it's easy to clean spit-up messes. Looks more fashion-forward than any of the Gracos, Peg Peregos, or Maxi-Cosi car seats. My son loves to sleep in this seat more than his crib! This is an all-around great infant car seat.
