Very Uncomfortable for my 8 month old

We purchased this stroller as an extra for around the house or quick trips out (in turquois) specifically for the shoulder harnesses because it's hard to find an umbrella stroller with this option. The stroller is well made and visually pleasing (thus the 2 star rating). unfortunately my average size 8 month old finds it extremely uncomfortable. The problem is that the seat part is too inclined and even with the back in the upright position it makes his feet point up too high. therefore he has the tendency to lean forward because of the unnatural angle and he cannot relax. He ends up slumped to one side with his head resting on the side bar. This one will only be used for around the yard for short periods. Prior to purchasing this stroller I bought the "Kolcraft Tour SportĀ® Umbrella Stroller With Adjustable Canopy ". It was nearly half the price of the Chicco. Although it did not come with shoulder harnesses, it's just as well made, the handlebars are foam padded and comes with a cup holder. The best part is that I use it daily inside the house and my son loves it. The seat is flatter and it reclines as well. He falls asleep minutes after strolling him around the house and even watches his "Baby Einstein" shows in it. It's the best money spent so far. I also recommend any of the Maclaren Strollers, pricy but worth the money. I use the XLR for shopping and outing trips and he has plenty of room and is comfortable.

Well, I had other umbrella strollers, but my daughter could last no longer than 10 minutes in them. I ended up using our travel system stroller, but my back would be hurting as I lugged it in and out of our trunk.
br /Thank goodness for this stroller! She can last forever in this one. The slight recline is enough to keep her comfortable and the backing helps her from looking slumped over. It is light and collapses just as easily as other umbrella strollers. I also like the five-point safety harness and great sunshade. Oh, and unlike other critics, my feet hitting the wheels while walking has never been a problem.
br /I give it four stars b/c the material is not washproof and the keylime color soils easily (if I had known this, I would have purchased a darker color). Also, I thought it would recline more (only goes down 10-15 degrees from upright). Having said that, my daughter still seems to last forever in this stroller though!
br /All in all, a good purchase!

I really liked how light weight and durable this stroller is. The only problem I have with it is that the foot release, to break it down, is a little tough. I love the color and it reclines back (not a lot) so my son can sleep.

I love how light and simple this stroller is, but the handles are too short. I am 5' 7" and the handles are pretty short for me, but they are way short for my 6' 3" man. We both kick the back wheels of the stroller when we walk. I'm really disappointed because I wanted a simple, easy stroller, but I think we're going to have to replace this one. Also, from the picture, the lime green looked more green, but when it arrived it's basically flourescent yellow. Ick.
Not as convenient as I'd hoped...

I purchased this for the same reason as many others: I needed a lightweight stroller that would fold up easily, especially for taking public transit. When it's open, it's great. The problems arise when I try to fold it. The latch mechanism is useless. It's a c-shaped piece of rigid plastic that is too tight to fit over the stroller's side shaft. No matter what I do, I cannot get it locked. I have to hold the stroller closed manually whenever I board a train or bus, which completely defeats the purpose of a fold-up stroller, doesn't it? The second problem is the WAY it folds. My last stroller folded up with all four wheels on the bottom--nice and neat. This one collapses downward, so one set of wheels is at the top, the other at the bottom. On a rainy day, I end up with muddy hands and dirt on my clothes. I think this may have been designed by the same guy who did my kitchen...
Love It!!

I purchased 2 of the chicco c6 strollers for my twins and I love them!! The height was perfect for me (I am 5'11). It also has a strap that connects to it when it is folded up so it makes it easier to tote, which will come in handy at Disney World, or you can place it inside the carrying case and put the strap on that. It also has a small basket under the seat and the back can unzip to let the child recline in the seat. Both of my boys love this stroller and don't cry to get out of them like they do with the double stroller. Overall, it is a great lightweight stroller for the price.

This is a great stroller. I have a small daycare and decided to buy three strollers, and buy some stroller connectors to connect them all together so that the three little ones I watch can all face forward and see what's going on. I bought 3 of the Chicco CG, one in the green, one in blue, and one in the orange. The colors are great and the kids love them. The five-point harness is excellent, as is the fact that they recline. These strollers turn on a dime. Even when I have all three connected together, just locking the inner sets of wheels so they don't turn, only having the outer wheels to turn the unit, I can turn the stroller with no problem, even with only one hand. The umbrella's on the strollers are also great! They come down far enough, that they completely keep the sun out of their eyes, and also keep the wind out of their faces too. These are great strollers, that I would and have recommended to many people!!

I got this stroller because the umbrella stroller I had was too flimsy and not comfortable for the baby. This stroller is fantastic! It glides along easily, no fighting with the wheels, and the wheels can lock into place for bumpy roads. The manufacturer thought of all the important details for an umbrella stroller: carrying strap, small basket, 5-point harness, comfortable handles, semi-reclining option, and carrying bag. I am very pleased, though it is a little bit bigger than my other umbrella stroller when folded. This stroller will be so much better for travelling than the average cheap umbrella stroller because it is more comfortable and more sturdy. It is definitely worth the money to get an umbrella stroller like this that can be used for more than the occasional trip to the mall.

I have had this stroller for over 2 years now and I love it. It held my son from the time he was 6 weeks old (that is when we purchased it). My nephew who is 6 can still easily ride in this stoller, so it will last you a long time. It's one of the only umbrella strollers on the market that has 2 storage compartments, a canopy, and it RECLINES. It also has a leg extender on it so when they are little their legs don't dangle off the end, and then it folds down for when their older. It does not have a cup holder, but it has a storage pocket on the back that you can put a drink in and it holds it great, or if you have a diaper bag or blanket in the bottom you can easily support a drink in the bottom. I have taken this stroller everywhere, up in the mountains hiking, through grass, even in snow (I walk over 5 miles daily with it). It also fits easily into any trunk and takes up little space. Look no further this is the best stroller out there.
May be okay if you're short!

I got this stroller in a local store mainly for shopping and doctors appointments. Ultimately, I've decided to sell it because I didn't want to own 3 strollers and this proved insufficient for vacations or longer errands.
br /
br /Pros:
br /5pt harness.
br /Small amount of recline - enough to sleep or provide a little support to a younger baby (I used this first around 4mo).
br /It's reasonably small folded.
br /The fabric is nice and it has a sturdy feel to it.
br /At first, I was frustrated by the canopy, as it doesn't extend far. I finally realized that you can move it forward more if you unsnap it from the back of the seat. I couldn't do this on a similar Inglesina (more expensive) stroller I looked at, so it's worth noting as a positive.
br /There's room for a small diaper bag in the basket.
br /It doesn't tip if you hang something on the handles with the baby inside.
br /
br /Cons:
br /I tried it out in the store, but I guess I never really walked at my full stride. Once I threw out the box, I realized that I can't walk behind this stroller for any length of time without kicking the wheels. I'm 5'6". My 6' husband has the same trouble and he generally walks slower than I. If I alter my stride to avoid the wheels, my back and shoulders wear out quickly.
br /
br /I also find it difficult to fold and lock. I end up laying it on the ground and using two hands. The locking clip is very tight, but without it, the stroller flops open easily. The locking clip has gotten a little better with multiple uses though.
br /
br /The recline is really slight. My son will sleep in this stroller if we put him in asleep, but won't fall asleep on his own in it. But he's a little finicky about sleeping, so I didn't take off a star for this.
br /
br /It's okay. If you take smaller steps when you walk, it would be a great lightweight stroller. If you tend to power walk everywhere, keep looking. If you're tall, keep looking. I replaced this stroller with a Baby Jogger City Mini Single.

We own this exact stroller. Our son is now 21 months old and weighs 32 lbs and can still use this stroller. I, however, would much rather have the Evenflo XSport Plus Convenience Stroller with two cup holders and height-adjustable handles.
br /
br /Pros:
br /*Shoulder harness + lap harness
br /*Lockable wheels
br /*Opens very easily
br /*Folds fairly easily
br /*Very lightweight
br /*Clip keeps it folded
br /*Easy to steer
br /*Sun canopy is removable
br /
br /Cons:
br /*No cup holders
br /*Sun canopy does not shade well
br /*Supposedly large storage basket is nearly impossible to put things in and take things out of once the child is in the seat, and it does not hold much
br /*Handles are for persons under 5' 6". They're set very close to stroller and are not height-adjustable. I'm just over 5' 6", with short legs, but I keep kicking the wheels, and my husband cannot push this stroller.

We purchased this stroller for an upcoming trip and flight. We took advantage of the super saver shipping and received it the next day!! The stroller is so easy to push and maneuver and it is very lightweight! You can practically steer it with one hand while pulling your luggage behind. Our 15 month old is big (27pounds 32inches) and he fits really well with room to grow. The five point harness gave me peace of mind, and the buckle being covered helped keep little hands from trying to unbuckle himself. The carry bag is very handy but not necessary if you use the strap hooked to the stroller itself. The only thing that I would change is the color-- it is lighter than I had imagined, but still very pretty-- I am just concerned about keeping it clean! The sun shade is great and big will work great in Arizona! The recline option is handy and easy to use even if the baby is in the stroller and you're trying not to wake him up!! Was a little concerned with height since I am 5'3" and my husband is 6'3", but it is very comfortable for me, husband has to lean a little-but had to lean over with big deluxe stroller also. Very happy with purchase and I would definately buy this stroller again!

As a lightweight stroller, it serves its purpose. It actually feels about 10 pounds, fits well inside the trunk and also easy to open and close. The colors available are all sharp and pretty pleasing. It's also hard to get dirty, which is a plus. The downside is that the harness between the legs are sewn in too far distal in the seat so that a smaller kid (and my baby is already 13 months) tend to slide forward in the seat so that he ends up slumped down instead of properly in the angle of the seat. The handlebars are sort of short and your back gets tired easily. Also, my stride is sort of long and my feet keeps on bumping into the wheels.

We bought this stroller in addition to our big bulky one that came with the infant seat. This stroller is great for walks around the block and to the park. We still use the other stroller for the mall and flea markets since the Chicco does not have any storage (very little). I do not like the fact that there is no cup holder, and it's very hard to find one that actually fits! Neither my husband or I have trouble with walking (feet hitting the wheels), so the people the do have trouble with this must have big feet (LOL). The color (orange) is awesome. Overall we are pleased with this stroller, and I recommend it to others.

I was hoping we would be one of the lucky ones who didn't kick the wheels of the Chicco stroller. We weren't. I really love the stroller for its price and features, such as the 5-point harness, reclining seat and adjustable sun shade. I just wish there was an easy solution for all of us who kick the wheels. The handles just need to be a bit longer. We're keeping it and will try to jerry-rig something. Inside stores, it's not really a problem because you are walking so slow. But any longer walks are a bit uncomfortable.
I've tried to like it.

I was excited about this stroller because it appeared to be a sturdy umbrella type with great options. I am a first time mom so a lot of purchases for baby are kind of made in the dark. I know it's just an umbrella stroller and what should I expect? . . . but I feel a review is necessary due to it's high cost and several issues I dislike. After purchasing it I wish I would have researched other small stroller options and here is why:
br /
br /* 95% worthless sun shade. The shade is connected to the stroller body and extends only so far. Not very positionable and a bit frustrating for baby when the sun is high in the sky, or anywhere is the sky for that matter.
br /
br /* I am 5'7", very average height and I have long arms. I have to push the stroller with my fingertips on long walks or else my arms start to ache and fall asleep.
br /
br /* My son's head is always so scrunched in the stroller. I think it is the incline as well as the firm, flat back of the seat. There isn't the typical hammock like give of other umbrellas.
br /
br /* The distance of the wheels from my feet as well as the distance apart is not so great. My feet kick the wheels quite often and cause a bit of stumbling.
br /
br /* My husband is 6' and just can not comfortably push this stroller.
br /
br /Here is what I do like about it:
br /
br /* The stroller is easy to set up and collapse
br /
br /* Sturdy, quality design. I think the materials are well made and pretty good quality.
br /
br /* The front wheels lock in straight static position or unlock for easy turning.
br /
br /* The stroller breaks work good.
br /
br /* The 5 point harness is awesome. Not to tight, not to loose around the neck.
br /
br /* The basket may be small, but I can sure stuff a lot in it.
br /
br /* It looks nice. It also matches my Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat - Adventure. Funny thing, the sun shade on the car seat isn't worth much either.
br /
br / I know my list of likes is bigger than dislikes, but the sunshade and wheel stumbling are big downers to me. It's personal preference and if those things don't bother you so much then this stroller will probably work fine for you. I do feel that it is about $20 to expensive.

If you are going to travel by air, I would highly recommend this stroller. It is lightweight, convenient and easy to pack at the last minute before boarding a plane. However if you are considering this as an everyday stroller, I would be a little more reluctant in my recommendation. The handles do not extend out far enough from the wheels so you constantly bang your feet against the back wheels as you push the stroller. You can push the stroller hunched over or with your arms fully extended but that's only comfortable for so long. I am only 5'10" and my wife 5'6" and we both have this problem. Someone smaller would probably not have to worry about this but taller people will probably be annoyed by this even more than us. Other than that it's a sturdy stroller for an umbrella stroller and can even handle some off-road action if necessary. It really was useful for us on vacation and especially while rushing to catch connecting flights in huge international airports.

br /
br /But oh my back... Im male, 5'10" on a good day, and do most of the pushing when we are out and about. I cant stress enough that it isnt designed for someone of my height, which isnt all that tall. I have begun to prefer my larger mclaren techno just for my chiropractor's sake.
br /
br /On huge plus about the height is that my son, who is 2 1/2, can push it himself and see where hes going (w/o the canopy). thats definitely worth something.

I was looking for another umbrella stroller that was a little taller as my husband is almost 6'3" and our other little economy model umbrella stroller was tough on the back. The handles on this stroller are certainly higher than most. It is relatively easy to use, and it camewith hits own carrrying bag. Also nice is the sunshade and the carrying strap.

We travel a lot and needed a travel stroller to take on plane trip car rides. Easy to use, lightweight. Baby is secure and comfortable. Smooth ride. Collapses down to a small size - easy to transport and travel with. Only downside is there are no cup holders which I got used to with a larger stroller. The clasp that holds the stroller together when collapsed also seem like it might break - a bit flimsy.
br /Overall we love the stroller are very happy with our purchase.

This is an excellent stroller for traveling, carrying and pushing around airports, and fitting into small spaces. However, my husband and I both tend to kick the wheels. If the handles were more adjustable (a bit longer, too), this would not be a problem. Unfortunately, the handles are riveted in place, so it wouldn't be a quick fix to extend them.

My son is 9 months old and we've been using this stroller for 3 months. We've taken it on an airplane as well as using it around the house and neighborhood nearly every day. It is lightweight, folds down and opens up easily (the locking clip improved a lot after some use) and I love the storage bag. When we gate checked it on the plane, it came back in great shape because the bag took all the abuse.
br /
br /It steers really well. I can easily walk the dog or talk on the cell phone and push/steer it with only one hand. Also, the tires are a good size and can handle uneven pavement and choppy ground. The neighborhood I live in has some rugged terrain, and the wheels handle the challenge nicely.
br /
br /My son is very comfortable in it and often falls asleep in it. It doesn't recline as much as some Maclaren strollers, but that hasn't been a disadvantage to us.
br /
br /It does have a limited size basket underneath, but it doesn't tip over with a diaper bag or other bags hung on the handles, so that hasn't been a big inconvenience either.
br /
br /I prefer the grips on the handles to the other curved handles of other strollers I "test drove" at the store. They seem to keep my hands cooler and are more comfortable to hold, but that's just my preference. You may find you like something else better.
br /
br /My husband is 5'8" and I'm 5'4" and we don't have any problems with the height of the handles, though I do occasionally find myself kicking the wheels. However, I did notice that I have more trouble with that when I wear a certain pair of shoes.
br /
br /The foot release to collapse this stroller is tough to unlatch with my foot, and if I'm wearing sandals (and in our hot climate I wear sandals a lot) I can't unlock it with my foot. I have to bend down and pop it open with my hand -- a definite drawback. However, it opens super fast and easy.
br /
br /Lastly, I love the design of it. I am a design fanatic and it definitely looks stylish and I love the colors and fabrics it comes in. The unusual colors are a definite plus when you have to pick out your partner and stroller in a crowded airport. Its a standout!

I am 5' 6" and my husband is 6' 2" and this stroller is comfortable for both of us to push. It has a five point harness for baby and the fabric breathes which is great if you are in the south during the summer. We love our Graco Snug Ride carrier and frame but it was too hot to leave that baby in during our trip to Hilton Head Island. This stroller works great, has a 5 point harness and canopy, doesn't take up my entire trunk and even has a small basket underneath. If the basket were a little bigger I would give this 5 stars.

A main drawback and complaint that many people have with the umbrella strollers is that they are flimsy, not good for young children under 4 or 5 months, they don't recline, or have sufficient storage.
br /
br /Well this umbrella style fold up stroller addresses all those issues. It competently combines the elements of large strollers found in typical travel systems; durability, recliner, storage, canopy, and ability to use with a young baby, with the best elements of a umbrella stroller; small, lightweight.
br /
br /The stroller's frame is lightweight but durable aluminum, similar to those found on bicycles, the fabric is sturdy and durable. Baby is secured by a nifty 5-point harness system. The back also reclines, good for a sleepy little one, or a baby that still only sits with support. The included canopy gives shade from the Sun or raindrops and it can be easily removed if you don't need it.
br /
br /There is a under-seat storage basket, good for when taking on shopping trips, though it will not hold a large diaper bag like most of the larger strollers will.
br /
br /The handles are a perpendicular angle to the ground making holding it very comfortable.
br /
br /The rear wheels lock, and the front caster style wheels are free to rotate or can be locked forward to prohibit steering.
br /
br /The stroller folds up small and takes up a fraction of the trunk-space of other strollers. There is a carrying strap that can be used with the stroller alone or put on the included storage and carry bag.
br /
br /The main drawback is that taller person has to sorta hunch over when pushing the stroller and it can be a tad uncomfortable if you are about 6 feet or taller.
br /
br /Overall this is a great stroller for the price, an economical alternative to larger system strollers and a definite step-up from often cheaply made and poorly usable umbrella strollers.

Can't beat the price of the C6. I got this to leave at the grandparents' houses. It's not perfect (kind of hard to maneuver, impossible to fit into carry bag) but it serves it purpose. I like that you can tilt the canopy to block the sun from all angles. Mesh basket below is tiny. Folds up really small - no complaints there. In all, you can't really beat this value, but I wouldn't want this as my every-day stroller.

I bought this stroller (in the 70's print at Babies R Us for $60) for my 11 1/2 month old and used it this past weekend on gravel, concrete, slippery store surfaces, bumpy sidewalks, etc. and didn't have any trouble. I had tried it out in the store prior and really liked it. It is lightweight, truly has a one-hand fold, storage compartment is small but better than the cheaper models, the 5-point harness is easy to buckle and unbuckle (and has a strap to conceal the buckle from my curious little one) and the shoulder straps stay attached to the waist strap. It takes up practically no space in the trunk and the canopy is easy to engage/disengage. One drawback is that you have to remove the canopy in order for it to fit in the carrying case (that is included) and as others have mentioned, isn't great for taller individuals. Although my husband (who is 5'11") said that it isn't that bad. I have had multiple compliments on it so far.

We bought this stroller for a recent trip to Cancun and it was just perfect! We didn't want to bring anything expensive that could get damaged or lost but we wanted something nicer than just a cheap-o umbrella stroller. It is so easy to collapse and unfold, maneuvers great, is very lightweight, reclines slightly, is comfortable for baby, looks good and even comes with a little travel bag. My baby seems very comfortable in this stroller. He fell asleep in it a few time on our trip and has since on our evening walks and he has never fallen asleep in his big travel system stroller. I was able to recline the seat with him still in it without waking him up or bring it back up. It doesn't lay all the way down (probably reclines about 3 or 4 inches) but it is perfectly comfy for a little snooze. It is so easy to use that I have started using it around town for errands and quick trips.
br /
br /I was worried about some of the reviews of people staying their feet kicked the wheels or that it is too short. Honestly, I haven't had either of those problems. I am 5 ft 9 and my husband is 5 ft 10 and we are both comfortable pushing it. This isn't a stroller meant for a ten mile walk but it does it exactly what it is designed for.
br /
br /Other things I like are that I can hang a full sized diaper bag on the handles and it stays there and doesn't cause the stroller to tip or anything. The brakes work well and it has a small basket underneath. The basket is not huge but it isn't supposed to be. You can fit a small purse, a couple of water bottles and a jacket under there. The only con for me was that I pinched my fingers in the seat buckles a couple of times until I got used to it. However, the buckles are very secure and covered so that baby can't get at them. Overall, I would highly recommend this stroller.

My husband and I got this stroller to replace the inexpensive umbrella stroller that we had for running in and out of stores. This stroller still has all of the benefits of an umbrella stroller, ie. it folds down and doesn't take up much room in our small car, but is much nicer to push and has a place to put a small diaper bag under the seat, our son also finds it to be much more comfortable to ride in. It's nice and sturdy, easy to operate, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice easily portable stroller.

Our main stroller is a Bob (for walking and running) but, I wanted a stroller to keep in the car. I got the Trevi first, but it was just a little too big and heavy. The C6 is a perfect size for my Rav4 and my husband's Prius. Light, functional, great color (lime), and our boy (6 months old) seems to like it. I am 5'3" so the handles are fine, but I could see how someone taller would have a problem with stooping and kicking the back wheels. Great stroller for the price!

We bought this stroller when our son was 4.5 years old. We thought we were done with strollers but then I realized that it would be much easier to have a stroller at Disney World with a 4.5 year old so I did some research and came up with this one. I was very happy with it. We only used it that one trip but if you've been to Disney World you know how much mileage you can get out of a stroller. Extremely easy to fold and the carrying strap was great for the bus. The sun shade allowed our son to nap in the stroller while we sat in the shade and enjoyed people watching. I took clothespins and pinned his blankie to the sun shade to create a little more darkness for him to sleep in. Make sure you check the weight limits before buying. I think ours had a 50 pound limit but since our son is light it didn't matter. Also, the basket underneath is quite roomy.

We purchased this stroller as a travel stroller that we leave in our car so we can have a stroller handy whenever we need one. One of my favorite things about this stroller is it's height. Many umbrella strollers are not made for tall people but this one is. No more sore back from hunching over. The color is great and I love how light weight it is. I would recommend this stroller to anyone!

The chicco stroller is exactly what I expected. I just wanted to share that the wheels when folded touch the canopy therefore making it dirty. This stroller is light so unless you always want to take the canpoy off buy a darker color. It is light weight and easy to use. One thing is that the bag it comes with fits very tight when loaded with stroller but it serves it's purpose.
So Much Better Than The Jeep All Weather Stroller

We bought this stroller for our 10 month old that was cramped looking in the narrow seat of the Jeep Wrangler All Weather stroller we bought four months ago at Toys R' Us. My husband is 6'6", and I'm 5'10" and he wouldn't even bother to push the old one because he had to bend over so much and even I was manuevering with just my wrists and fingertips because it was so close to the ground.
br /
br /We like the fun orange color, the five point harness is sturdy, the material is easy to wipe clean, it is easy to fold in a compact shape without having to wrestle with it to get it closed. It is easy to use with or without the sunshade. It folds just as easy with it attached, so we just keep it on there for baby's comfort since it is summer afterall.
br /The stroller just weighs 11lbs and feels solid. The old one was heavier with smaller wheels (and a rougher ride), yet a bag on the handlebars would make it feel unstable and off balance.
br /
br /The mesh basket in the bottom is nice to have. You could put smaller purchases in it, while out shopping (a Target bag, a purse, or a few baby essentials and a bottle of water). It makes for one less thing to carry.
br /Baby can recline slightly by way of heavy duty zippers on either side of the back of the seat. The ride is pretty smooth too and our little boy passed right out in it.
br /
br /I picked this stroller over others that I had seen because I needed a secondary one in the umbrella format just to keep in the back of the car for quick trips around town or when we travel with the little one. The big travel system just isn't feasable to haul around when running errands.
br /I also like that it came with the sun shade (it snaps to the frame and also in the back for an enclosed environment easily) and with the carrying bag. So for going to grandma's or a football game, you could throw it in the bag like one of those pop-up camping chairs and sling it over your shoulders.
br /
br /We also own the Chicco Polly highchair in "Splash" that I highly reccomend. It is so durable and functional as well as stylish, and that was the tipping point for me that sold me on the Chicco brand.
Looking foward to taking this one to Disney!

WOW! We have had this one for a little while now and we absolutely love it! The handles are just right for me (5'2") and mu husband who is slightly taller. It maneuvers well and handles our rocky driveway with ease. I am not sure about the staining as our daughter hasn't eaten in there yet but the milk she has dropped wiped off easily enough. So far...I like!

We got this stroller for when we travelled. We didn't want to get an expensive 2nd stroller only to lose it in another continent (we know someone who lost their $200+ Maclaren at the Bangkok airport) but we didn't want to get a cheap, uncomfortable stroller either. The Chicco umbrella stroller was the perfect fit for us. Not too expensive so that we'd sweat if we lost it travelling and our baby girl, now 15 months old, likes it very much. Yes, there's a slight recline in the seat but our baby just relaxes into the seat. Then it zips down to unfold a second recline which is great for when baby is sleepy.
br /
br /Now, this isn't a stroller with all the bells and whistles (no cup holder and a only a small basket under the seat) so do consider this when looking for one. But it's a super lightweight stroller and so easy to manueuver. I am 5' 2" and hubby is 6' 1" and we both find it comfortable to push around. Hubby hasn't complained of kicking the wheels so can't comment on that issue. We've taken it everywhere and it still looks new(ish). I also like the tangerine color (doesn't show the dirt) and got a matching skip hop bag to attach at the back for additional storage space, the front pocket of which I use as a cup holder.
br /
br /A bonus - the purchase includes a stroller bag which is an additional expense with other strollers. Zip the stroller in the bag and leave at gatecheck!

This is a great stroller. It's very light, folds up well and so small in the back of my mini van. My husband and I use this for both my 8 month old and 2 year old. The younger baby uses it more and seems to enjoy her ride. The strap which goes near the crotch is fixed very close to the edge of the seat, so my baby doesn't stay seated towards the back of the chair. She kind of slides towards the front, but not usually. For my 2 year old, this problem is not an issue since she is bigger. The position of the chair in its fullest recline isn't as far back as I would like but it is at an angle that makes my baby comfortable enough to fall asleep. My husband is 5'11" and he sometimes kicks the back of the stroller if he is not aware of his distance. The plastic lock that holds the stroller closed when folded is extremely difficult to latch on, but not hard to open. The tangerine color is beautiful too. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that needs a single, lightweight, all-purpose stroller.

We purchased this stroller for our trip to NYC. We needed something lightweight and easy to fold and carry in the city. Our regular stroller is a Zooper Waltz, not super heavy at 17 lbs so we wanted something significantly lighter. The stroller performs great and I'm glad I didn't pay the extra money for the higher end umbrella models. Since we've been home we've kept it in the trunk of the car in place our regular stroller since it takes up such little room. My only compliant: the latch to hold it close is tough, but it seemed to loosen up the more we used it.

This is the second one of these we have bought in the last year. It is a great stroller and we travelled with it all around Europe, but then lost it somewhere between the park and the mall. I didn't even think of buying a different one, when we lost it. It is sturdy, compact, and very easy to travel with. Also, you can't beat the price.

We recently went on a 7 day cruise with our 8 month old baby girl and we loved using this umbrella stroller! We strolled her all around the ship and she seemed very comfortable. It was extremely easy to fold and very light weight. I will definately be using this stroller a lot more in the future.

I bought this for our vacation. We don't have a lot of space, but I wanted features of his current stroller. It has a basket that holds enough necessities, reclines, and best of all it is not made of cheep materials. It is a solid and heavy stroller. Well worth the money. My son is 3 still takes a nap, so the reclining is important. Very pleased..

This stroller is perfect for anyone looking for a compact stroller for quick trips, traveling, or just for convenience. I am very pleased with the strollers look and design. The shoulder strap and bag are a great addition and I haven't found that with any other stroller. Also, for an umbrella stroller that's reasonable priced, most don't come with a basket underneath like this one. Also, I wanted a reclining umbrella stroller, which is also not easy to find - but this one has a unique zipper reclining position on the sides and lays down enough for a baby or toddler to sleep in comfortably!! I was most impressed with this feature on this perfect stroller! I recommend it to anyone - good price too and very durable!
I'd give it NO stars if I could!!

This is just a few of the MANY reasons I hate this thing.
br /1) I have to bend over really far to push it (I'm only 5'7")
br /2) My husband and I both kick the wheels constantly when pushing it
br /3)When it folds up the wheels touch the sun shade and it gets FILTHY dirty. Mine looked disgusting after using it for the first time.
br /4) It's hard to steer
br /5) the storage basket is practically non-existant
br /6) The sun shade is a joke...it blocks NO sun
br /7) My daughter seems uncomfortable in it...she's always fussy in it. She doesn't fuss in her full size Graco stroller.
br /8) no cup holder for mommy or baby.
br /9)It only reclines an inch or two at best
