Handles well, but could use improvements

This stroller handles well on sidewalks in the city, though I wouldn't recommend it as a straight "jogging stroller" because it does not have a safety tether. (The description says it has both a tether and a hand brake. It has neither.) I live in the city where the sidewalks are often broken and uneven. So far this stroller has handled the terrain pretty well. The swivel-wheel makes it very easy to steer. It's not too heavy, but it is a little top heavy. I have noticed it has a tendency to tip easily if I am moving across a grassy hill or something like that.
br /
br /The seat seems comfortable, and the harness is one of the best I have seen, a five-point number with an easy one-click release. The sunshade, however, doesn't really provide too much coverage for the child, and I wish it had a see-through window on top to provide a view of the rider. The space between the seat and the child's snack tray is kind of tight as well. My toddler fits fine at 18 months, but I am not sure that will be the case in another year.
br /
br /The handlebar is of average height, and it's covered with some kind of porous foam material that I am not particularly fond of. It's probably supposed to absorb moisture or something, but it's not the most comfortable thing in your hands.
br /
br /Parent's tray is okay, fine for keys and a phone, and it holds an small bottle of water tightly. The basket underneath is not particularly roomy, just average.
br /
br /Overall, a fine stroller for the money, just could use a few minor adjustments.

bought this as a jogging stroller for my four year old. Very solid construction, but the back on the seat is better for reclining the child, rather than sitting up. The support is not really strong for older children. But it rides well and steers easily. Worth the price!

this stroller is wonderful! my husband doesnt complain about kicking the back and its large wheels dont get stuck or slow you down. it folds up easily too. the only problem i see it that the sunshade doesnt really cover the baby all that well... our solution was to lay a baby blanket over the top and that works just fine.
Great Stroller for the price

I am very happy with this stroller. It is an awesome buy. I'm not a runner but do walk a lot of different terrains and it handles well. The swivel wheel does a great job at the mall as well. The stroller was easy to assemble and it folds up without any trouble. However, it does take up a good deal of space.
br /
br /The seat is spacious for my 26lb son and the tray works well for his toys and drink. I do wish there were bigger drink holders or a key-drop cover for the walker. No major complaints! I could have spent a lot more money if I wanted those issues resolved.
Great stroller but does not have all the features listed

I have just started jogging and I needed a stroller to do this with and I found this one. This stroller is great! Very easy to put together (I did it)! It is very smoothe. However it does not come with a Hand brake or tether. It does not have a parent view window. Lastly, there is no way to tether an infant seat to it. Good thing for me I don't need those features. Other than that its is a great stroller. I'm very pleased. Shipping was flash fast. Thank you Amazon. I will be shopping here again.

This stroller just arrived the other day and I am thrilled with it's performance so far. My hefty 8 month old fits well with lots of room to spare in the seat and adjustable 5-point harness. The height of the handle bar is much higher than our cheap stroller we bought, making its use very comfortable. I like the parent and child trays and the swivel front wheel makes for a rather smooth ride on sidewalk. I am not a jogger and plan to use it mostly around the neighborhood streets/ sidewalks or indoors at the mall. I like the adjustable seat and the ability to lift the rear hood for ventilation if necessary. I also like the location of the front wheel, being under the footrest instead of sticking way out front like on some models. It was very easy to put together, although the directions provided were slightly different than my stroller... some of the assembly was already done for me.
br / Keep in mind that this stroller is a more economic model and does not have lots of bells and whistles. It does not fold up with one hand and seems a little awkward to lift into my trunk. It does not stand up independently when folded.
br / Finally, I was amazed at the speed with which I received this product from Amazon. I was anticipating another week before delivery, but had it on my doorstep within 48 hours!

Better than BabyTrend Expedition

I orginally purchased the Baby Trend Expedition jogging stroller and was terribly disappointed with it. The front swivel wheel wobbled uncontrollably when it was not in the locked position, making it impossible to push the stroller. Thankfully I had purchased a Buyer Protection plan for it and was able to get a full refund. So my next stroller was the InStep Suburban Swivel jogging stroller. Upon assembly the swivel wheel was so tight that it would not swivel! But a little WD-40 solved the problem and now it works fine. The handle is a little high for me (I'm 5'3"). The tray in front of the seat pulls completely out, but I would prefer it to swing open instead. Other than that I like the stroller. I think it's a good value, especially since I can't afford a more expensive stroller. They sell an infant car seat adapter but my Graco infant seat fits without an adapter. It just snaps onto the stroller tray.

I purchased the InStep stroller for my granddaughter. It only took a few minutes to attach the wheels, canopy, etc. It maneuvers easily and looks great. Cup holders/trays for the adult and child. The underside storage basket is very roomy. The easy collapse lever works well and it collapses easily for transporting. A great price was a bonus.

I had the double of this same jogger and loves it. Thats why when I needed a single I bought the same model. The swivel wheel does not work. I have tried a couple times and it wont turn while jogging. I am looking to return. Otherwise it is a great item. However that was my number one need in a jogger.

I received this stroller in less than a week with free shipping which was great and it took me less than 10 minutes to assemble it. However, when I put my 9 month old son in it to go for a stroll, I was so disappointed. The front wheel was loose AND wobbled which caused the parent tray and the child tray to make this annoying sound. I called "In Step" customer service and I was advised to take the fender off, tighten the nut under the fender and that should take of these problems. After doing so (it only took about 10 minutes total) I took my son out AGAIN for a walk/jog and it worked perfect!! The stroller feels so light when jogging and it is so comfortable that my son fell asleep even with bumps and turns. The stroller is very basic but for the price, it's a good deal. I do wish it had a see through piece on the canopy so I could see my son at all times but it's not a big deal. The basket underneath the seat is pretty large and both parent/child trays are perfect in size too. Overall, after fixing the tire problem, I really like this stroller.

Nice stroller! The only problem I'm having with it is the front wheel. ??? It gets stuck and doesn't want to rotate into the forward rolling position. Other than that it rides smooth, is comfortable for my 8 month old and is easy to assemble.
AWFUL PRODUCT!! must not have been baby tested

After 5 minutes with this stroller I realized what I need... and what it's missing. It makes me wonder if they even gave this to parents to test. After a month of having this stroller I hate it. My baby looks so uncomfortable in it!! It has no padding. The sides of the stroller where her head could rest is a hard metal bump! DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER I tried to change the number of stars I gave it but AMAZON won't let me! It's awful!!
br /
br /Cons:
br /No viewer in the "shade" to see baby while you're running. I had to run to the side of the stroller several times to check on her. - To fix this I cut a hole in the top where i wanted it and afixed a clear vinyl from a craft store with some adhesive velcro. Problem solved.
br /
br /The "shade" itself was worthless. Instep has made much better in the past to keep sun out, now they just want you to buy the bigger one seperate. Which I did and it's massive!
br /
br /No tether
br /
br /Does not recline very far- strollers that recline all the way double for changing tables for me!! This is a great feature if you can find a stroller that does this. This one does not and I can't think of any way to modify this!
br /
br /Underbasket won't hold big 15 items... for the 15 items or less trip to the grocery store. My graco did.
br /
br /Seat back is not very padded, baby looks uncomforable. I'm going to jimmy rig some kind of padding for her little sleepy head. I ended up buying a snugli thing that fits in 5 point harness strollers. But now she's too big for that !! once again, i hate my stroller.
br /
br /The seat does not lock in position so kiddos lean forward and rock the stroller during a temper tantrum.
br /No padding on the sides... so she can't kick-it to the side and nap like in her Graco.
br /
br /The bug net is poor quality and doesn't fit snuggly over the stroller like you'd think. My baby just likes to grab at it and put it in her mouth. I Trashed it!
br /
br /Button for locking and unlocking swivel wheel is right above the wheel... not on the handle bars like some strollers offer so you can't easily adjust for changing terains (Baby Trend has the feature on the handle bar) Plus, my wheel would stick when I put it in swivel mode. A little WD40 fixed that right up!
br /
br /There should be a pocket on the back of the seat for storage.
br /
br /Pros:
br /2 cup holders for mom and dad!
br /Very light for a jogging stroller. I litterally folded it with one hand and picked it up and put it in my SUV without having to bend over. Great design there.
br /Plus it automatically locks when you fold it which saves you from the flip open problem most jogging strollers have. Which is also great for airplane travel when checking the stroller plane side.
br /Simple touch maneuverability when the wheel is fixed and on swivel (once I lubed it). Narrow/high handle bar allows great control. (I'm 5'2" and was very comfortable jogging and controlling my dog)
Great!

This stroller is great! I was looking for a jogger with a swivel wheel for my 5 month old. It can hold up to 75 pounds which is perfect for my 6 year old too! It folds easily and fits nicely in the trunk (sedan). Very easy to put together and comes with a netting for bugs. I highly recommend this stroller!

Can't beat this one for the price! The front swivel wheel makes this one of the most maneuverable strollers I have used, it is light, easy to collapse, and great on almost any terrain. I only have 2 very small issues, one is that the seat does not sit all the way up (close to a 90 degree angle, so baby is always reclined, which seems to annoy my 8 month old...) Also the canopy does not provide much sun protection, but like I said, well worth the $$$, great little stroller.

This is the first jogging stroller that I looked at and researched and I absolutely love it. Like other customers, the canopy does not offer much shade the reclining mechanism could of been better but for the price, you can't go wrong. The swivel is the way to go, moves around like nothing better then my baby stroller so I now use it as my regular running errand stroller. Fits great in the car, bulky but not any bigger then a regular infant stroller. I would recommend this jogging stroller to any Mom or Dad, they'll enjoy it.
