I first saw this product in California when my cousin wheeled her baby in. It really appealed to me because it was lightweight and small enough to maneuver around in between crowds of people (and therefore small department store aisles). My cousin raved about how great the Snap N' Go was. I had to have it and immediately bought it as soon as I returned to Portland. This product has been well-used, however, if you're thinking it will last for more than one child--it doesn't. When my daughter was about 9 months old the stroller frame gave out where the handlebars were attached. If I want to use it I have to stand on the handlebars while the frame is folded so they can be bent back to the shape they are supposed to be at. A friend of mine has the Kolcraft model and it appears to be strudier. We definitely got our use out of the Snap N' Go however, I plan to buy Kolcraft for our next baby.

This is a great product. The Kolcraft version of this is also great and you should buy whichever one strikes your fancy (or is cheaper). This is SUPER convenient for anyone who is toting an infant around. Here's why: 1) Its very lightweight 2)It can be folded with one hand 3)The basket is big and roomy 4)the parent tray is great for keys, a drink, etc 5)Easy to steer 6)Your baby can be moved in and out and around without waking up.brWhen your little one outgrows his car seat, you'll have to put this in storage and then buy a lightweight stroller, but its STILL better than the travel system idea, which, when you are done with the infant seat, you are stuck with a very heavy stroller. .....

Would recommend to new moms!

DO NOT BUY A TRAVEL SYSTEM! My sister bought a travel system and used her stroller twice when her son was an infant. She was always lugging him around in his infant carrier because it was "easier" than using the travel system.pWith the Snap-N-Go (this one or the Kolcraft), this is not a problem. The stroller is light, quick, and manuvers better than a shopping cart. I always put my daughter in it when I go shopping, and I make my husband push the cart next to us.pThe basket could be more accessible. It's fine if you carry your diaper bag, but it's hard to fit much else in there if you don't want to, and you certainly can't take the entire diaper bag out without removing the car seat (although you can reach it to grab an item from inside). I also would like them to upgrade the wheels. They get gravel from parking lots stuck in them easily.

Good buy

we used this system for our 5 month old since day one. It is extremely convenient and portable. I am pretty bummed that our daughter needs to go into a regular car seat now instead of her infant seat. we would buy and use this again. The only reason why I am giving it 4 instead of 5 beacuse the basket is a pain to use. The only way to get a normal sized diaper bag in and out is by removing the car seat from the base. the sides of the basket go up too high to get the bag out. This is not a problem in her current Peg Perego Venezia which uses a slanted basket. However, going out and about was made much easier with the Snap n Go. sad to give it up

Love the Snap 'n Go!!!

I am so sad becuase my eight month old is outgrowing her infant carrier and I will no longer be able to use the Snap 'n Go. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I found it difficult to get things in and out of the basket with the carrier in place. Otherwise, it is lightweight, easy to open and close, and great for transporting baby without waking her up.

The perfect fit!!!

OK, second time mom here, using this product now for the 2nd time...love the convenience of it. DO NOT BUY A TRAVEL SYSTEM.bryou will end up going lighter in 6 months anyways, so save yourself the time and trouble and go light right from the beginning...it is so easy to use, light weight and the basket is very roomy. "bigger is better"...is not the case when it comes to baby items!! less is more!! remember that they stay small and light for only so long, yet you continue to have to lug them and their equipment as they grow!!! :)

Great for new moms!

I have been using the Kolcraft version (Universal Car Seat Carrier) for the last 6 1/2 months, and love it! The basket is very large, and easy to access even with the car seat attached. The stroller is easy to manuever, and I can fold it while still holding the carrier in the other hand!! The parent tray is great and the stroller is very lightweight. This was a great purchase for us. My daughter will be growing out of her infant carrier soon, so we will be moving on to a "big girl" stroller. I will miss our car seat carrier!!

Less is more in this case!

Hi! With my third child, we had to buy this stroller for the THIRD time! As is fitting, it was the first baby purchase my husband ever bought. (It figures that the guy wants to buy the wheels...right?) Every time we've had a child, we buy this stroller, and after our baby weighs above 20 pounds, we start to lend it out. This time I said the heck with it and bought a new one (My friend couldn't find it, even after tracking it past 6 people).
br /
br /I LOVE THIS STROLLER for many reasons:
br /1. I get to buy the car seat I want, not a huge, bulky travel system I can't and won't use.
br /2. It doesn't hog up all of the space in my trunk (where I store it 100% of the time).
br /3. I can fit my diaper bag and heavy purse in this basket. (The trick is to put these items in prior to putting the car seat on.)
br /4. It's small and very easy to maneuver.
br /5. This stroller was allowable for travel right after 9/11. It was considered and umbrella stroller by the TSA. Very important, because my husband is a pilot. (We're at the airport ALL the time).
br /6. The tray is big enough to hold my drink, the baby's bottle, my keys and sunglasses.
br /7. It's so easy to maneuver that my 4 year old can steer it fine. It also fit in store aisles where my sister's travel system couldn't with it's monster wheels.
br /8. I can flip the car seat around depending on where the sun is or where the wind is blowing.
br /9. I can put my baby in a lean back position or an upright position.
br /10. Did I mention how lite it is??? After 3 cesareans, you better believe it hurts to lift ANYTHING. I don't like 20-30 pound behemoth's that I have to lift waist level and hurl into the car!
br /11. Lastly, it's very easy to close and put in the car one-handed. With 3 kids, that's definitely a plus!
br /
br /The cons:
br /1. You have to buy a different stroller when your child outgrows the car seat (My husband and I always lament this time for several reasons).
br /2. If you have another child, you will be buying this again. Why? Because other mom's are envious of the size/weight/maneuverability, and want to borrow it.
br /;)

I am a first time mom and my baby is 4 mos now. I had no ideas what stroller is the best until I discovered the Snap N Go stroller. Gosh, I love this stroller, it's light weight and open and close in second. The basket is wonderful. It's very spacy and easy to take stuffs in and out unlike the Peg Perego. I would recommend this stroller to whoever is looking for a light weight and convenient one. This stroller is the best and reasonable price..

I am a first time mom of a 5 month old. I spent months researching stollers and planned to buy a Peg. On the advice of a friend I tried this stoller and LOVE it! It is light weight and easy to handle. Skip the bulky travel systems and buy this!

This stroller is so easy to use. I am a first time mom and I find it very easy to get out of the car and go with it. I look at other moms and the travel system strollers....they are huge! I would definately get this again!

When my daughter was born 11 months ago we purchased a Graco TravelMate stroller. Big mistake - the thing was bulky, difficult to steer, and took up almost the entire trunk space of my car. After two months we switched to the SnapNGo which we found at ToysRUs instead. This basically became our travel system which we actually used with two different infant car sets (Century and Evenflo). We used the SnapNGo exclusively from age 2 months to about 10 months. We even used it indoors sometimes to motion baby to sleep. Pros: compact, easy to fold/unfold, sturdy frame, good parent tray, and large basket. Cons: my wife says it's still kind of heavy, front wheels cannot be locked from turning, switching between certain types of car seats require you to unscrew one support bar and reposition it, and faster growing babies will most likely outgrow their car seat (and hence the SnapNGo) in much less than our 10 months.

Perfect - No problems at all with this one

This is the best stroller I have ever bought! I wish I had it when my first child was born. I bought this when my son was 1 month old and it made running a lot of little errands easier. The brakes are good, the parent tray is good, and even the valet at the hospital knows how to close it! It's easy to steer and has proven to be very durable.

SOOOOOO MUCH MORE COVENIENT THAN A TRAVEL SYSTEM!

I too bought, and barely used, a bulky travel system. Fortunately, I also bought this! My trunk is tiny, but this fit in there easily with plenty of room for my shopping! I had a very difficult post-partum period and was on strict orders not to lift anything heavy for months - so there is no way I could have used my bulky (and heavy) stroller.pMy very strong recommendation for any Moms-to-be (or thoughtful friends or relatives) is to find an infant car seat that has all the features you are looking for and buy this stroller. Later you will need another stroller, but by that time you will have a much better idea of the type of stroller that will actually fit your (and your baby's) needs (your new lifestyle will probably differ considerably from what you imagine it will be prior to baby's arrival). There is not a travel system out there that will have every feature you want or need in both a car seat and stroller. By buying this way, you will get exactly what you are looking for out of both items, and in the meantime - your back (and your trunk) will definately thank you!pBy the way, this stroller can be easily: lifted out of (or back into) your trunk; opened; folded back up - all while holding your baby in his or her heavy baby carrier with your other hand. How many travel system strollers can say that?

Can't believe how cheap it is in the States

I bought this item in Canada and now that I see how cheap it is in the States, I so wish I had found it before my travels. I payed over $100 in Canada for it which roughy translates to about $75 American these days. I bought it because I needed something light for the car seat between flights. Now I keep it in the car and use it for every shopping trip. I love how small it is and maneuvarable, and how light it is. I also can position my evenflow car seat a little more horizontally when she sleeps by putting it between the bars instead of on it. The only problem I have with it is the almost completely useless basket. The opening doesn't help at all, its almost impossible to put anything in there except for very narrow or small items. Certainly not a diaper bag. I have a big stroller which I keep in the garage and use it for walks around the neighbourhood. So the frame, for the price, is really worth getting, if you have a heavy stroller.
