These newborn systems are pretty common in in England where I first saw them. Now there starting to slowly be available here in the US I just recieved my system and it just doesn't get any better! I'm a mother of four, so trust me when I say... I know strollers. This one is lightweight and easy to handle. I really believe this will be the only stroller I purchase my new baby.

br /Set up was fairly easy (although, I should tell you the carry cot set up was tough! I appreciate the necessity for the reinforcement bars, but those suckers are not easy to get in place.) The system includes a rain cover for the main stroller as well as, the carry cot. It also came with it's own air pump for the rear tires. Printed instructions are in full color and include photos.

br /Once the set up was complete I had a sturdy and snazzy pram. I live in an apartment in the city and here in NYC the Bugaboo is all the rage. I checked it out, and I wouldn't trade my micralite for it. It doesn't fold down to a compact size, and space can be limited here. I also did not want to have to buy a new stroller for each stage, which when you do the math would get you to the price you pay for just one of these. So if you're looking for something a little different and well worth the price this is it.

So far I have only used the carrycot version of the system, as my baby is still a newborn. We have used it both for a few walks and in the house as a second bed for her. When researching strollers, I was looking for something lightweight and easy to fold, (and thus ruled out the bugaboo and the stokke once I tried them) and had decided on the Inglesina Zippy but just by chance tried this one at the last minute. The big wheels give it that ease on the pavement, it pushes with one finger!, but the design is compact and super light, it folds and stands easily. The carrycot snaps on and off easily for transport. It looks so pretty (we got the red). The mattress of the Snuggle Nest with incline fits into the carrycot as well, which I use when I put her in it for the night, so she is slightly inclined. I actually bought it in a shop on sale for $400. Very worth the price.

We looked at atleast 20 - 30 different kind of strollers, was trying to avoid the traditional strollers you see every where, some that passed my first test "non traditional" were either heavy, bulky, needed a manual to fold collapse, or just too common....there were a few that fit our requirement, of them this one just stood out, I had read about these online..then I saw them in a nearby mall...talked to the owner she convinced me to get this...i took her advice thank her for it....

I purchased this newborn system (which is supposed to include the fastfold stroller and the carrycot) on a "deal of the day" special for $349, which is half the price it's listed at normally ($699). All I got was the carrycot. I had customer service call me, and talked to a nice, but hard to understand lady who said she'd send out the correct one right away and the UPS guy would take away the old one....a week later...no stroller, nothing...Had Amazon call me again, this time a man who didn't speak very good English, who kept reassuring me that he put a note in that they should send the stroller with the carrycot. No such luck, just got my second carrycot, no stroller included. Again, today spoke to another customer service rep who hardly spoke English at all, who said his supervisor would call me as soon as he got off a call...That was 2.5 hrs ago, and no call, still. So I had customer service call again, and finally got an English speaker who said she's sending out the right thing....
br /If they mess it up again, Amazon's policy is to just refund the $$ after the item is returned. So I will get $349 back, and cannot get another newborn system for that price anywhere, even ebay....SOOO frustrating! Amazon needs to really KNOW what they're selling and they need customer service reps who know English and aren't just reading a script of what to say.
