I have a graco side by side stroller.
br /Like with most strollers, the canope on this stroller is almost useless. Why is it so hard for the companies to figure out what we Mom's really want? A functionable canope would be one thing for example. On most strollers they are a joke.
br /So I bought this sunshade.
br /Positive: folds up flat and easily;attaches easily (though you may have to fiddle a bit to find the best position);side pockets are a nice extra and help to weigh the shade down some as well ( and you can perhaps hide some goodies in there because they are really not easy to spot );it shelters from the side as well;
br /Negative:
br /Hello.. a slight wind and this thing bends backwards or moves sideways;
br /When the sun comes from the front, while setting, you can't really pull it down far enough to protect your children.
br /Living on an island we deal with wind all the time and so it is not as practical as I would like this shade to be.
br /But still would recommend it over leaving the child just exposed.
br /Perhaps if you have less wind to deal with you really will like this shade.
br /I gave it a 4 star because it does protect my children and that is what matters.
br /You deal with the negative points, but I wished it would have been designed for all weather. I don't see how you can attach a weight and still allow it to stand up correctly.
br /The material is too thin for that.
br /But I am open for ideas and suggestions.
br /I don't have problems folding the stroller together while shade is attached. Perhaps that is just a matter of trying and see what you prefer and like.
br /All in all it is worth the money and afford because your little ones deserver and need the proctection.
br /Till the strollers are made with better canopes, we will have to rely on something like this.
br /I also have the Peg Perego Aria stroller and had bought the single one for that one.
br /Same issue, problems with wind but otherwise a nice protection.
br /And yes you will have to fold it back when you put baby in.
br /Perhaps that was the main concern of the designer. Easy acess to the baby.

I highly recommend this! To prevent the wind from blowing it back I use binder clips to clip it down on the padded bar that holds the kids in. Works great!

I have the Safari TT Dbl jogger from In Step and I bought this shade because the shade on the stroller is non-existent.
br /
br /I have seen this product work well on single strollers, but it keeps blowing up and back from my canopy with the slighest of breezes, so it is not doing such a great job of keeping the sun off my kid's faces.
br /
br /I've used a binder clip to keep it in place, but it still blows back more than I think it should...

definitely worth it.

Its a little hard to adjust, but its definitely worth it. We've used it on our double jogging stroller as well as our double umbrella stroller. Folds away easily and doesn't take up a lot of space. I also love the pockets on the sides where I can store my keys, phone, water bottle, etc.

The double rayshade is a great product, especially for the hot Florida sun. This works well on my Maclaren Twin Traveler and does a good job shading my infant and toddler. Easy to use and fold up (though I can never get it into it's self storing pocket, but that could just be me). I highly recommend this product, even the single stroller shade.

Terrible Sun Shade

This was the WORST sunshade ever!!! Don't waste your money. It is so flimsy that it offers no sun protection at all. We used it on our double jogger stroller but it just flopped down into the faces of our babies. I do not recommend this product. I only gave it a one star because zero star was not an option.

It works, sorta

We have the single but had to make adjustments for it not to flip backward and also to keep it low enough. The double has the same issues; it's not sturdy enough for even a modest wind.

Definitely not 5 stars

I bought this sun shade because the stroller we have has a short shade and doesn't cover the kids. The problem that I have with this is that with any breath of wind it blows back against the stroller. I've tried putting a book clip on the end hoping to weight it down a bit, and it's helped somewhat. It's still a pain when it doesn't stay out.

I love this shade. It doesn't stand up to the wind, but if you pull it far enough down towards the bar of the stroller it usually stays put. I have my toddler hold it on those windy days if we're having a problem with it blowing back at me. The shade serves its purpose, it keeps the harmful rays away from my beautiful little ones.

It did not work for me.

I did not get the use out of this product that I thought I would have. It would not stay on my stroller. I had to hold it on while walking which was very difficult.

This shade provided excellent sun protection . It is very light weight and it will flip-up when running or when it's windy.

Good, but...

This shade does indeed cover almost everything. But it is extremely susceptible to blowing back in the slightest wind. I've honestly had to adjust my walking route depending on which way the wind is blowing.

I think this product is great! The only negative comment I would say is, it is made of lightweight material, so when the wind blows, even a little, the shade blows around. However, I rated this a four because it does what I think it was designed to do and that is to shade your kiddos from the damaging rays of the sun.

i would have to say the stroller shade is a very good product it really does protect children from the sun and it doesn't have to put on a jogger and that was my worry i would buy this product and not have it do what it need in the middle of july at an amusment park with the stroller i was going to use. But it did. i used a standard side by side umbrella stroller for my twin 3 year old girls and it worked easly although i would say it was a little confusing to put to the stroller but once i sat and looked at the picture and the stroller it was a breeze. I was a little disappointed how ever that it says on the package it could adjust as far as pull down further or pull back dependong on the amount of protection you wanted for you child(ren) and maybe it was the stroller i was using but there wasn't much give on to pull it down further. I would say all in all it was a great product and will continue to use and refer to all of my parent friends

Happy so far!

So far, I am liking the product. It does what it said it would do - block the sun from my twins. Prior to purchase, I was concerned from other reviews that I read about the wind blowing the product around. So far, after a few weeks of use, this has not been a problem. However, the shade is very bendable, and I can see how the wind may cause a problem. So far, I haven't experienced any very strong wind, and the product has stayed in place. But a strong wind would blow the shade around. However, the benefit of having the shade very bendable is that when you fold the stroller, the shade can stay attached.
br /
br /I am very happy so far. The sun shades that come with double strollers are almost useless due to their tiny size, and this shade does rectify that problem.
br /
br /Now, if only the stroller manufacturers would redesign the original sun shades....

best bet for a good shade

Good shade for the little angels. Would recommend this for every mother that wants to sheild her babies and toddlers from the harsh sun rays.
br / The shade is big, flexible and easy to attach to any stroller. I use a macalaren. The coverage is wonderful!!! You fix it the way you want...all the way to cover up to the babies feet or half way . The sides are well protected too!!
br /
br /
br /May not be so good on real windy days but still does the job when not fighting with the winds.

The shades that came with our double side by side umbrella stroller were not very useful so I purchased this product. The Double Rayshade was used at a recent trip to the zoo and offered wonderful shade for both of the kids from their heads to their toes. It is easy to attach to the stroller and is lightweight and easy to store. I am extrememly happy with the purchase!

This shade is a "must have" for just about any double stroller on the market. It is completely adjustable and comes with bonus pockets on each side. I use each pocket for each kiddo. One pocket actually keeps things like bottles stationary to prevent leakage. I've never had to worry about which direction I'm walking to keep the sun out of my children's eyes even on the brightest of days. LOOOOOVE it!

I love this shade! One of my daughter's is very sensitive to the sun and having this shade real helps keep her out of sun. The shade is very easy to clean , which is a must with little kids. I liked this shade so much I even bought one for my single stroller as well.

Used this for Double stroller while on vacation in Hershey Park -fantastic! Easy to put on - easy to store! I don't know why strollers - especially doubles - have such dinky canopies anyway! But this did it's duty!

This product is easy to put on the stroller by simply looking at the photo on the packaging. It worked great to keep the sun off my baby. In my case we were only using the shade for a week while at Disney. I had a 4 year old and an infant in the stroller. It worked great for the infant and did exactly what I wanted it to do. It did make it hard for the 4 year old to see out.

br /I would definitely purchase this product again.
