I agree with the previous reviewer who stated if negative stars were an option...They would've been given.
br /First, I also experianced the wheels falling off of this stroller. Babies R Us gave me new wheels twice, and I STILL had this problem.
br /My second gripe though is far worse... My son actually CHOKED on the snap cover that is located on the back seat. When checking it out... the same one on the opposite side just popped off in my hand! We had only had the stroller for 2 months and had only used it about 4-5 times! When I contacted Evenflo about the snap cover incident and also mentioned the wheels they seemed uninterested. I called back THREE TIMES before someone took me seriously... and it was only AFTER I mentioned calling the Consumer Product Safety Commission that they even decided to look into the matter.
br /But it didn't stop there...
br /When I mentioned that I was no longer able to get my money back from BRU, and I was seeking a refund from the company... The first woman I spoke to actually said to me "Well, were you using the stroller OUTside??? Because it is mainly intended for INDOOR use." I couldn't stop laughing at that one! INDOOR use? How many of us actually stroll our kids around the living room?! Anyhow, finally after 2 weeks of annoying phonecalls on my part, and sending the stroller back to them piece by piece, they are FINALLY saying that they will refund my money. -I'm not holding my breath. I have reported this stroller to every place I can think to now though... I hope this stroller gets recalled before someone elses child chokes and ends up seriously injured, or they get hurt by the wheels falling off.
br /I also forgot to mention that I too expeianced the awful excuse for a parent tray!! If the wind blew, the tray fell down!
br /HORRIBLE AWFUL STROLLER -PUT YOUR MONEY TOWARDS SOMETHING ELSE!

Do not buy this!!!

This is a awful stroller! We have had problems from day one. I have a 19 month old and a 8 month old. The wheels are very loud. They almost seem as if they are going to fall off at anytime. It is very heavy and hard to push and turn. My biggest concern is safety. Put your money into a better stroller!

I also have had repeat problems with the back wheels falling off - while my infant is in the stroller. I spoke with a friend of mine who also had this problem with an Evenflo stroller.
br /I purchased this because it was fairly light and folded up small, but there is no point to have those features if the wheels do not work. Don't buy this product.

I enjoy this stroller!

Unlike several of the other reviewers, I really like this stroller! (We even have the matching infant carrier.) I have a 3yr old (weighs 29 lbs) and a 2 1/2 mo. old (weighs 12.9 lbs) and I use this stroller alot. Granted the wheels started to make a tiny noise but it was after getting the wheels wet and WD40 cleared the problem up fast. It's the MOST compact double stroller out there currently. It's comfortable material and very roomy for both children. The adult cup holder is roomy and sturdy. Plenty of pockets storage too!
br / I'm shocked to see all these wheels falling off!! Since I put this stroller together it makes me wonder if all these wheels weren't put on correct because it was a little complicated part of the instructions.
br / Also, I put my 3yr old in the front or back and either way it still turns and moves good expecially compared to other double strollers I steered and moved around. I hunted for 6months for a double stroller and this is by far the best one!

I absolutely LOVE this stroller. It's easy to manuever and is roomy. However, our rear right wheel kept popping off! I called Evenflo and they are sending a replacement part. Apparently, the wheels for our model are held together by plastic. The replacement part will consist of the entire rear contraption and is constructed of metal, I'm told. Hopefully it will stop our problem, because again, I really like this stroller. Plenty of room for storage in the basket underneath. Folding it down is a breeze, too.

Great stroller, but some problems

I got this stroller shortly after my second son was born. My oldest was 1 1/2 and I counld not even go out of the house if it was not for this doulble stroller. I to did have some problems with the back wheels, and I called the company and in a few days recieved new back wheels. Since then I have had zero problems. The step for the child in the back is a great addition to the stroller. My son loves to be able to get into the stroller by himself. I have had this stroller for over a year and had only the one problem. I would recommend this stroller to anyone.

It would be negative Stars if this was an option

What a big pile of junk! The wheels have come off more than once. Babies R US replaced one of them for us. However my kids dont weigh 30 pounds TOGETHER let alone anywhere near 80 that this says it can accomodate. The tray does not stay up and the basket falls off all the time.
br /
br /STAY AWAY. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I AM RETURNING TO ABBIES R US TODAY TO SEE IF THEY WILL GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. A WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK.
br /
br /I have a 6 month old and 2.5 year old. I hardley used this for fear the wheel would come off with me by myself. My Hubby is not always with us. So I leave it in the garage. Our Nanny uses the single stroller for the little one and has the 2.5 year old walk.
br /
br /I called Evenflo and they told me to send them all the specs from the stroller. You can not read the numbers and letters they require. This has never been left int he rain or outside. Always in the Garage or our trunk.
br /
br /Please save your money and buy something else.

The stroller shipped with parts missing! Called today and they can't even ship the missing pieces until after the holiday! They have no system in store for express mail. I paid a lot for this stroller and I expect to be able to use it. Customer service wasn't the least bit apologetic. I'd love to say something wonderful about the stroller but it's going to be a week and a half before I get the chance to USE it!

Great product! Great customer service!

I purchased this stroller in December '05. I currently use it for my 4 year old and 9 month old and we love it! When we first received it, one of the saddlebags for the rear seat was missing -- I contacted Evenflo. They could not send me a new bag for the other side, but were willing to replace the stroller for me. I decided against it since it wasn't a huge deal. The customer service rep contacted me two more times to make sure I didn't need any additional assistance.
br /
br /Up until this month, I've been using my Evenflo Discovery Car Seat in the rear seat. I went to use the rear seat without a car seat and I noticed that the snaps that attach the padding for the rear seat had ripped from the fabric and were permanently snapped into the frame of the stroller. I contacted Evenflo by email on Monday and by Thursday, received an email back. As of Friday, they are sending me a brand new stroller at no cost! The customer service rep called me today and was extremely helpful on the phone.
br /
br /The only thing I don't like about the stroller and my reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that my 4 year old can drag her feet in front of her, so I constantly tell her to pick up her feet. But that's more of a personal thing, rather than an issue with the stroller itself. Oh, and her feet can hit the levers on the 2 front wheels, so that the wheels won't turn. I would suggest to the manufacturer to make them pull up for straight rolling and push down for turning or make the levers smaller/lower so that the front rider couldn't hit them by accident. But other than that, we love it!!!
br /
br /We've never had any problems with wheels either -- just noticing others' complaints. Oh, and our stroller is the Silver Star print, not the Tattersall. But it's still the same frame.

This is the best duo stroller available!!

This stroller is awesome! Where do I start?
br /1)The pattern and fabric are beautiful!
br /2)I have a 2 month old who is 14 pounds and a 15 month old who is 23 pounds. My oldest sits in front of course, and this stroller is sooo easy to stear! I take it to the mall all the time!
br /3)The parent tray is awesome. I put my drinks and my keys in it all the time.
br /4)The storage basket is huge and is accesable when the seat is reclined. It has a flat storage area in the back under the parent tray. It also has two side storage pouches that I haven't even gotten to use yet, but I am sure my girls will love them when they are older!
br /5)It has a huge canopy in the back and a small one in front that really do the trick in blocking out the sun. My older daughter has even taken a nap in the front seat.
br /6)It is not that heavy and it fits in the trunk of my Mom's Ford Contour with tons of room to spare.I lift it in and out of our minivan with no problem and I am pretty small.
br /7)It has a snack tray for both seats. My oldest uses the front one all the time. Of course my newborn hasn't gotten to use the back one yet, but I am sure it will come in handy.
br /
br /Here are a few things I didn't like:
br /1) The parent tray that came with it didn't lock into place correctly, so I contacted Evenflo and within 3 weeks I recieved a new one. This one doesn't fold down like the original designs calls for, but it does unsnap fairly easy so I can fold it away that way.
br /2)The wheels are squeeky. They started squeeking after about 3 weeks.
br /
br /I would highly reccomend this stroller to anybody! I can see myself using this stroller for years to come! I payed $149 for it because I had a $20 coupon, but I would have payed full price with no problem!

I looked for 6 months for the perfect double stroller. The Graco DuoGlider was nice but did not give me the storage options I wanted and required that several parts be removed in order to close it so it would take up the least amount of space possible. The jeep double was great, except very hard to maneuever. Then I saw this stroller. Easy access baskets, folds compactly without removing trays, large seats, tons of extra pockets and storage for bottles, cell phones, toys, kleenex, you name it. Then me dreams were crushed. First, the tray that holds the drinks NEVER STAYS UP. The end result, beverage spilled all over me and my baby. Next, the front wheels began to squeak something fierce, problem was fixed however, with some WD 40. Then the fun continued when the left back wheel came off while taking both my children on a neighborhood walk in the park. We were right at the weight limit, so I though it was a fluke. Turns out it wasn't. Two weeks later, the the left back wheel fell off while we were at the county fair. Try carrying a 4 month old, 2 year old, diaper bag, etc with a stroller with no back wheel. Am very disappointed with this stroller. Contacted Evenflo today, very unhelpful. If I don't get a response I will turn this into Attorney General. Be careful not to place any hot beverages, such as coffee in the drink tray, should you happen to waste your money on this stroller. Should have went with the Graco Duoglider.

Nice looking, but I DON'T LIKE IT!!!

I love the look of this stroller, but it is bulky, heavy and hard to fold and unfold, because of this I don't like using it. I've used it about 3 times in the last 7 months. The front seat does not recline very much, not good enough for a new born and if the child in the back seat kicks the front it will move the seat, it does not lock good into place. So, besides these things its an ok stroller. oh and when I recieved the stroller one of the front wheels was broken, called for replacement, friendly customer service but I had to fax them my recipt but they sent me 2 wheels, so no complaints will the service.
br /I have recently bought the graco duorider, hopefully it will be before Halloween, cause I'm not looking forward to using this stroller.
br /I wish I had never bought this. A waste of 160 bucks.

I bought this stroller 1 year ago this week. If I had to do it all over again I would not have purchased this stroller. Two sets of wheels have broken within the first 4 months of use: a [...] and newborn. Now 1 year later the back seat is broken in so much that it sags and does not make for a comfortable ride for the backseater. I agree with a previous post about the front rider being able to lock the wheels, HUGE PAIN! Needed to be designed better.
br /
br /For the price, not worth it.

Nice stroller for newborn twins...but has issues

I purchased this stroller in the spring of 2006 (after reading reviews on a bunch of other double strollers), and have used it probably at least a hundred times. I must have received a "good one", as I have never had an issue with any of the wheels falling off. Thank Goodness!! I chose this particular stroller because both front and back seats would secure an infant car seat, which was a necessity since I had twins. However, I have had a few problems with the stroller. First, I've had a few instances with not being able to fold the stroller down...almost left it in town (where we go to take walks) because of the frustration. I've since realized that it won't fold completely flat (which is necessary for it to fit in the back of my minivan) unless the front wheels are turned a certain direction...you have to lock the front wheels into this position before trying to fold down the stroller. Also, the front seat only reclines a little, so we deal with the "bobbing" head while the front passenger tries to nap sitting almost upright. I've had issues with the seat cover not staying up (it's only secured with small velcro squares) in the back seat. Once my son figured out that it came undone with little effort, he constantly pulled it down. The tray lid on the parent tray won't stay closed and the snap on the fold-up child tray (on the back of the front seat) ripped away from the fabric, leaving the tray hanging all the time. We did experience some squeaking with the wheels, but that was only a minor problem that was easily fixed with WD-40.
br /My twins have used this stroller for almost 2 years (come April) and now I'm moving on to better things. I think that they'll enjoy a double jogging stroller(with a front swivel wheel) better, since they'll be able to see better and be able to be side-by-side. I spent about $200 on this CitiTour tandem stroller, but I feel as though I've gotten my money out of it. I actually love the tan and black print of the fabric...it looks expensive. I see that it's not in stock right now, maybe not again...probably because of all of the problems with the wheels. I would hope that the Evenflo people read these reviews and address these troubled areas to make a better double stroller that holds 2 infant car seats. I would expect more from Evenflo, seeing as how they are one of the leading manufacturers of baby products.

Pretty good....compared to what's out there

I really looked around for a double stroller. Having a newborn and an almost 2 year old, I can't go anywhere myself without one. I tried them ALL. This won. I think the graco duoglider is cheaply made. I have a graco single stroller that I REALLY loved, but I guess it was a high-end one(Graco Quattro Tour), so the guy told me. I hated having to remove parts on the double graco stroller to get the kids in and out.
br /This one has a tray that pulls up in the front which is great for a 2 year old that wants in and out all the time. It's relatively light weight compared to other ones. I can turn it very well. There is a lot of storage underneath and it's really good looking. The pads are REALLY soft. My son loves to rub them.
br /The parent tray is tricky. It's getting worse the more I use it. I'm thinking of removing it and just putting on one of those hook on cup holders. Since there is a zipper in the back of the hood of the stroller, I store everything in there and barely use the storage in the cup holder.
br /Also, my front wheels melted a little while sitting in my van. I leave it in my van all the time and they told me that on above 90 degree days, with it sitting in the hot for a long time, that it can happen. Never happened to my graco, but oh well. They were really good about sending me new ones for free. Just annoying to take it out and put it in the garage on hot days and having to put it back in the van to go somewhere.
br /The wheels did squeak, but WD40 solved that problem. My son is tall and sometimes his feet hit the wheel locks on the front and locks a wheel, then I have to unlock it or I can't turn. That's the most annoying thing of this stroller. I wish the locks were on the REAR of the front wheels instead of the front.
br /After trying ALL of the double strollers out there, I'm glad I went with this one. I found it the best. I think any double stroller is somewhat hard to handle. I wish Graco made a nicer double stroller like the Quattro tour, I would DEFINATELY buy it.
