Contrary to other reviews, it just works. My wife loves it and the kids don't
br /mind it (a three year old and a one year old). For the price, you can't beat it. Quit whining and start running. (Follow the instructions for alignement if it pulls. I know everybody is used to plug and play these days, but it would help if everybody used their brain a bit)
LOVE IT!!!

Although many people commented that poorly on this stroller, I have found it to be the best double jogging stroller I have ever owned. I run five+ miles daily with it and have no complaints. The all-weather sheild folds up nicely and is a life saver in poor weather, it is simple to assemble and unassemble, my two daughters under two years old both love it and are comfortable in it, it fits in my tiny car's trunk and all the adjustments (pulling, brakes, handle bar) are easy to make for even the least mechanically inclined person... :) If your doubting buying it based on other comments ignore them, it's great!!!
Very good stroller

I really enjoy this stroller. It's very stable, easy to steer, and was very easy to assemble. I am quite satisified with my choice.

br /The only thing I would change is that I wish that the straps went to a smaller size. Even with the straps at their smallest setting, they are still somewhat too large for anyone under 1 year of age.
br /
br /As the kids grow, I know I will get more and more use out of it!

PLEASE think twice before buying this!

Originally I scored this heck of a deal on a double jogging stroller last year when I was expecting my 7th child. I wanted it to be able to go jogging after he was born with my now 2 year old. At first I loved it, it is an incredible deal for the price, it has the built in rainshield, it has pockets in lots of places AND came with the extra bottle holder, alot of which other models do not. BUT....there is a major safety issue with this stroller than I think needs to be addressed to the company that makes it.
br /If you are not careful, this stroller EASILY tips over backwards. On several occassions I have had my toddler stand up (trying to get out as toddlers do) and tip this sucker right over backwards. It took very little effort and the baby was flung upside down. Thankfully he was strapped in and did not launch out of the stroller itself, but never the less my toddler was hung upside down as well,...2 screaming babies, tipped stroller.....not a good situation!
br /
br /The first time it happened, I figured it was just a fluke ( I had my back turned while shopping, looking at a rack of clothes for just a few seconds, bam that was all it took!! ) But I have actually had this happen a few times if the wind was just strong enough. Seriously....the wind!! The stroller was in the locked position, I was loading my toddler into the van , the wind blew and that sucker went right over and baby was again hanging upside down.
br /
br /If you order this for older kids, I'm sure it's fine, maybe, but NOT if you have a young tiny baby to put it in and even so watch it very carefully. I am planning to contact the company to see how they plan to resolve this because that is a HUGE danger IMHO. It needs to be redesigned and proportioned/weighted differently so the tip factor is less. I realize that if you put enough weight on any stroller shaped like this in that manner it will tip, but this IMHO is far beyond *excessive*
br /weight pushing it over! ( a 25 lb toddler or the WIND?!?!).
A Frustrating Saga of Damaged Products and Returns!

We may have simply run into some dumb luck when trying to order this stroller from Amazon, but it has been a 5-month long frustration. We spent lots of time shopping for all kinds of double strollers for serious runners. This seemed to be one of the two cheapest with the minimum level of features that we wanted. The product itself is as good as we hoped. We thought we had a great deal with free shipping, but it wasn't worth the headaches. After two strollers, both returned, we are now getting a refund because Amazon apparently has already wasted too much money dealing with us. The first stroller came with a strong pull to the right. We followed the packed instructions to deal with the manufacturer for warranty claims. They sent a new (but not original) wheel. That didn't fix the problem and with some more inspection, I determined that the frame was bent - either a manufacturing defect or a problem with shipping (UPS). The manufacturer encouraged me to ask Amazon for a replacement, which would be quicker than a warranty claim. Amazon graciously extended their 30-day return policy for us and a new stroller was on the way. When it arrived, I didn't even get the stroller out of the box before noticing that the handlebar was broken straight through - cracked. So that was our second return. It took 3 weeks before the return displayed on my account on Amazon and when we did not hear about yet another replacement after 10 days, we called and received a refund, though we were willing to try our luck with a third shipment. I don't know who's to blame - Schwinn, Amazon, or UPS. Having once worked at UPS, I am not a bit surprised to have had these problems, especially with a heavy and fairly delicately engineered product. UPS doesn't exactly coddle their packages. I should have known better than to shop online for this. Hey, at least our littlest one is still not quite 6 months - minimum recommended age for use. Good luck!

Great jogger that we use for walking. Our baby is 3.5 months old, so I can't yet attest to its jogging abilities as he's too young for the running aspect, BUT it's been great for getting the two kids out and mama a walk! It pulled a little to the right when we first assembled it, but my husband was able to correct that and now it goes nice and smooth and straight! I only gave it 4 stars because of not being able to attest to its jogging abilities yet, otherwise it's great!
Expensive features without the expensive price tag!

I LOVE this stroller! I have a 5 year old with special needs who we were using the single version of this stroller with. Then we had a newborn and the single was so great I knew I wanted the double version. I needed a seat that would work for both of them. This is it! I have been using this stroller since my baby was born and now she is nearly 6 months old. She has enjoyed it the whole time. It lays back for sleeping and the harness keeps her secure for sitting up. My 5 year old has plenty of room on her side and she doesn't complain at all about riding. Pushes easily and has a hand brake for safety. The only things I do not like are: I would like a different basket underneath - the basket is a little shallow but it is large, it comes with a bag/cupholder/pouch to attach which is nice but I would rather have a larger one, and I wish it folded smaller (but it would not be as nice to use if they made it smaller so I dont see how they could accomplish this one!). Overall it is the best jogging stroller out there!
I love my new double stroller!

This was a great buy! It has everything i wanted, its very comfortable for the two or even one, It has a very nice extended sun shade w/ a rain jacket hiding inside the shade that i didnt even know about. It's very comfortable for me to push. Bright beautiful colors. Easy as pie to put together, The front wheel was kinda tricky but we called and she told us how. It came w/ old directions which was weird. I would recomend this stroller to anyone! The free shipping was an added bonus!

My problem is that I read so many reviews when researching an item that I always either find one ot two bad reviews out of many that cause me to stress way too much about the purchase that either I overspend for a higher rated item or abandon the idea altogether. Let me just say that this is one of those items where, after finding some discouraging reviews, I just decided to bite the bullet and buy it anyway.
br /It was a good decision because this thing is absolutely great. I honestly have no complaints about it. It's comfortable for both my 8 month and 2 1/2 year old, it's sturdy, quite manuverable, and good for either an afternoon stroll through the zoo or a jog down a paved or dirt road. It has some room to store your gear underneath as well as some drinks and snacks up top. Don't think your going to walk this thing through Pottery Barn or something because it's too big for that. But, most rational people understand that a "jogging stroller" is not supposed to take the place of a normal stroller, which is meant for shopping, among other things. It does however suit the purpose it was made for very well. And you can't beat the price.

We have owned this Schwinn Free Runner double jogger for about a month now. So far we have been pleased. We take it on runs for about 2 miles (I am not a long distance runner) and walks. I thought that it would be much more difficult to manuever than our Tike Trek single jogger but it is not bad at all. The cost was only about $25 more than what we had paid 3 years ago for our single jogger (of a different brand). The cost was reasonable and so far it works well. The only two things I would wish for differently was for individual canopies for each child, however this was on more costly joggers. Secondly the users manual wasn't great, but fortunatly not a lot to do to put it together. So for the money a good buy.

I was impressed with the comfortable seating that has a nice amount of padding, the built in rain shield is a nice feature and overall the stroller looked like a great find. It assembled easily although is a bit wide to manage, and won't fit through most doorways. The disappointing part was trying to use the stroller. It pulled strongly to the left and was impossible to use as a walking stroller so jogging was out of the question. I used the help line for Pacific Cycle and after trying all of their recommendations for correcting the problem, I ultimately returned the product. The return process went smoothly for which I was also grateful.

I have a 4 yr old and a 3 month old, and I love the stroller. I walk 3 miles 5 days a week and the stroller does the job. My husband and I took the stroller to the mall and had no problem. I recommend this stroller to everyone looking for a good product for the price.
