I bought this jogging stoller after reading all of the reviews. I was looking for something that I could take on a prairie path and off on a trail near our home. I have to say that there are so many Jogging strollers out there, and some of them priced very high. I knew that I didn't want to spend a great deal, but yet I didn't want to sacrifice comfort either by buying a cheap jogger. So here is my experience with this stroller, as well as my opinion on whether it has lived up to my expectations.
br /First off, putting it together was very simple. It didn't take much time at all, but as I will mention later, I was missing a part which was a little frustrating. I have been using it every morning for a mile moderate paced walk, with the swivel wheel engaged. It's great! I live on a street that is curvy and this stoller allows me to push it with ease around all the curves and bends. Unbelievably easy to control. I have also used it on the prairie path which has a white sand/pebble surface. It's great for that, too. When I know I will be jogging a straight path, I lock the front wheel so that I can have better control of the jogger. It has thus far been great with the swivel and in locked position. I am very happy I went with a jogger that has both options. I have also used the stroller at the mall and have appreciated the easily accessible basket under the stoller. It's very spacious and has come in handy. In addition, the swivel wheel is even great at the mall, as it has allowed me to manuever through the ailes pretty well. At times, however the size of the rear wheels have gotten caught on racks, but for the most part I really prefer it over my regular stroller at the mall. I think I've even begun to use it more.
br /
br /A few very important notes about the stroller. When I received it, it did not come with the front fender. They forgot to include it in the package. I had to phone Instep (apparently they are associated with Schwinn) and jump through a few hoops to get one sent out to me. However, once I got a hold of a competent representative, she was very helpful and promptly sent out the missing item. I think I received it within two days. So that was fast. Next, I want to say that I purchased a few accessories which have made me like the product even more. I purchased the extra padding for the seat. I believe it is a must have. My 15 month old was obviously much happier once I added the padding. It does make a big difference in comfort, and to help him sit up a little more. Many will complain that the seat is a little too far back, and I would agree a little. But adding the padding made it better. My son does not complain much and actually falls asleep in the stroller during our morning walks. But as I said before, he definately liked being seated in the stroller much more after I added the extra padding which I think is around $15.00. I also purchased the electronic gizmo that tracks speed, distance, time, etc. I really like that, too, because it helps me keep track of my morning walks and my progress. It's a nice perk if you think you'll use it. I must add that it is a little tricky to install, and the instructions that come with the model that Instep sells are written poorly. Finally, the only thing that bugs me about the stroller that is the reason I gave it a 4 is that after it's folded (which is very simple to do) it is a bit awkward to put it in my trunk after it has been folded because it doesn't lock in the folded position. I think that would be a nice added feature. I can't tell you how many times I've lifted the thing up into my trunk only to have it open and clunk me in the head or pinch my hand. I just haven't figured out an easy way to keep it folded and pick it up for transport. That's just my experience with it though. So anyway, I really think that it's a great price, a good product, and it does live up to my expectations. It's not a fancy one, but it certainly performs for the casual jogger and everyday user. I'm very pleased with my decision to go with this jogger. Good luck!

I have had this stroller for only a few weeks, but I am very impressed. It is light to push--ideal for walking with his big sister to school each day and for taking jogs. The front wheel swivels when walking for easy mobility, but can be fixed for jogging so that the stroller doesn't shimmy. The bonnet is nice and long and provides a good amount of shade, and the bonnet's top window (which allows you to peak and check on the baby) has a little cover that velcros shut over it to keep the sun out when needed--I wish my other strollers had this! Best of all, the handle easily adjusts up and down, which means neither I nor my 6'3" husband are hunching over trying to push this, saving us many a backache, and the basket under the stroller is sufficiently far forward not to impede either his or my stride.
br /
br /All in all, I really love this stroller. My only reservations are these:
br /1)As with every other jogging stroller I looked at, the cup holder in this one is too shallow, and we often lose our water bottle when we go over curbs or around corners. Luckily, it tends to fall out sideways and not onto the baby's head, as was the case with one of the other strollers I saw.
br /2)I'm not so sure the "easy one-hand fold-down" function is so easy or one-handed. I only tried it once and wasn't successful. Since I don't travel with this stroller, it didn't concern me. Perhaps if I had been more persistent, it would have been more-or-less easy, but it definitely is not as easy as the EvenFlo travel system stroller we have (which is the stroller we do travel with).
br /3)I ordered the weather shield and bug shield designed to fit this stroller from their website, and while they are very nice, they came with no instructions as to how to attach them. I've been able to drape them and cover the baby adequately, but I don't think I yet have them on as the designer intended. I can't seem to find what the velcro attachments are supposed to go around. Instructions would have been appreciated!
br /
br /Those minor concerns kept me from giving 5 stars. This really is a superior stroller--especially at this great price.

For those of you who want a great go anywhere stroller, but can't wrap your mind around paying $300-500 for a BOB Revolution - this is your stroller. It's easy to put together, has plenty of storage, easy to push, and most importantly to us, easy to steer. We had a fixed front wheel stroller before this one, and got fed up with constantly having to raise the front wheel to make a turn. Now with the swivel wheel, we feel comfortable taking it into the grocery store, which is very convenient!
br /
br /Pros:
br /*Swivel wheel - unless you do a lot of distance running with your stroller a swivel front wheel is a must.
br /*Canopy - Provides good coverage, and can be detached at the top so it can pivot down in front of your child - important when walking towards the sunrise/sunset
br /*Storage - Huge bin below, zippered pocket behind child, parent tray, kid tray.
br /*Adjustable handle - I'm 6'2, wife is 5'2, works great for both of us.
br /*Kid tray - It's easily removed if your little one won't use it yet, but makes such a huge difference for our 2yo - sometimes we'll go for a walk, just so she'll eat something!
br /*Easy to assemble - You'll have it ready to use within 7 minutes of taking it out of the box. Also means it's easy to break down to pack for a trip or store.
br /*Weight - Lighter than most similar strollers at the same price range. Perhaps a touch heavier than the expensive strollers - but not much.
br /
br /Cons
br /*Quality - If you can't afford a BOB Revolution or other high-end stroller, don't go try one - you will notice a difference. The Freewheeler lacks the polish of the BOB, and some of the features aren't as easy to use. That said, the Freewheeler will do everything the BOB does at half the price.
br /*Folding Mechanism - While it folds relatively easily in a single motion, you will probably struggle with it a little bit. With practice you will do fine - but if you plan to put the stroller in the back of your car more than once a day, you may want to think twice. It's just kinda klunky and awkward when compared to the $300 strollers.
br /*Seat angle - My kid is 2, and has no troubles - but if you have an infant you will have to improvise some padding to make your child comfortable.
br /
br /I have no doubt that this is by far THE BEST jogger-stroller for the money. Now you just have to ask yourself: How much are you willing to pay for something better? Unless the answer is nearly double, I'd pick the Schwinn Freewheeler.

I have had this stroller for over a year and like it, but one thing keeps me from "loving" it...it is much heavier to push than the BOB jogger. That said, its a LOT cheaper than the BOB, so I guess the $$ you spend on the BOB goes to the lighter frame. (I pushed my friends fell in love)
br /
br /But here are the pros of this reasonable stroller: (my son is now 2 1/2 and is very tall, 85% for his age....skinny though...9%--just for your reference)
br /
br /1) Air filled wheels (keeping them filled correctly makes for easier pushing)
br /
br /2) Front - Swivel Wheel
br /
br /3) Large storage basket
br /
br /4) Decent canopy (better sun protection than many)
br /
br /5) Good looking stroller, I get compliments all the time
br /
br /6) Comfy for baby---has removable pad you can wash that is pillowy
br /
br /7) Removable snack tray for child (but I found seat didn't come forward enough to make it very useful)
br /
br /8) Easy to use foot brake
br /
br /9) Wrist strap for safety.
br /
br /10) Easy folding
br /
br /I don't jog with my stroller, but I do a lot of walking with it. I recommend this stroller to anyone who needs an all terrain stroller on a budget. It really does offer quite the bang for the buck.

I bought this stroller to replace my Graco Metrolite travelsystem after my baby outgrew his car seat and I decided I needed a stroller that could handle hikes on natural trails. I absolutely love it and have overcome the seat adjustment issue by removing the child tray. My son can see perfectly fine and in reality is not that reclined with the seat in the upper-most position. In fact he looks more nestled and secure, which I like given that we cover some bumpy terrain. Issues with the seat seeming too reclined may be exacerbated by the position of the child tray on the frame of the stroller and the angle of the frame itself. The tray sits pretty high on the frame (perhaps necessary for leg clearance) and could obstruct the childs view. As it is my son doesn't really need the tray. I just put his sippy cup and/or some snacks next to him in the seat and he just grabs what he wants.
br /All in all, I would agree with the other reviewers that - if it were perfect - the seat should come up a bit more and the shoulder straps should tighten more, but we have overcome these issues. I buckle him in with the shoulder straps tucked behind him. The other positives of the stroller outweigh these negatives:
br /It turns with the flick of a wrist; has a sturdy cross bar to place your foot for leverage to get over bumps and obstacles; has a large base storage compartment as well as a smaller zippered storage area behind the seat (perfect for a diaper pad, wipes and diapers); has an adjustable handle bar (husband is 6'3" and I am 5'7" and it works great for both of us); has relatively easy, compact folding (I have a Jetta and it fits in the trunk nicely); has a large sunshade; has a parent tray that works fine for us (I lay my water bottle sideways when jogging and when on flat terrain fountain drinks fit in the holder and don't spill); and lastly the front wheel swivels and locks if necessary.
br /I am an intermittent jogger and rarely lock the wheel. The wheel unlocked works great for us, even on rough terrain. I also use this stroller for mall shopping (haven't bought an umbrella stroller yet) and though the wheel base is slightly wider than typical we get around in stores just fine.
br /Highly recommended.

After reading about the drawbacks to this stroller, I was hesitant to order it without first testing it myself. I received it a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised. Many of the drawbacks listed in other comments were not that major.
br /1. Re: size of stroller when folded - My car is a 2000 Honda Accord, and the stoller fits fine in the trunk IF I TAKE OFF THE REAR WHEELS. The other jogging stroller model I considered also required removal of the rear wheels.
br /2. Re: stroller reclining too much - The angle of inclination can be adjusted by adjusting the straps at the back of the seat to almost any angle you want.
br /3. Re: difficulty of folding stoller - Yes, the stroller is hard to fold completely with only one hand, but it mostly folds by itself. I think most non-umbrella type strollers will require both hands to fold.
br /
br /Overall, this is a great stroller. For traveling though, another stoller is definitely required.

Good
br /
br /1. Smooth ride for my little one
br /2. Well made, good construction
br /3. Attractive
br /4. Light enough (as far as jogging strollers under $200 go)
br /5. Front and rear wheels locks quickly easily and securely
br /6. HUGE hood for shade
br /
br /Bad
br /
br /Folding / portability is HORRIBLE. If you have a small trunk you're counting on it fitting in, dont. It's very bulky, even "folded", if thats what you want to call it. I have a minivan with no 3rd row seat so I'll get by just fine. I just dread the day I HAVE to fit into my wife's Toyota Corolla =\
br /
br /Otherwise, its a great stroller!

I bought this stroller to replace my Combi-Ithru, but found that I needed to keep it. Although this Schwinn stroller has proven to live up to its reviews has one slight draw back. The recline position is a bit to far back for "mall strolling" making it a bit uncomfortable for the baby. Aside from that, the schwinn handles tough terrain like a Mercedes Benz or Cadillac. Its great! Baby loves the outdoors and the comfort of this stroller. It has ample room and keeps her protected from the elements. It steers like a dream! Grandma loves the fact that it turns on a dime. No extra effort needed. The big wheels and shock absorbers make it a smooth ride too for the sleeping baby. My daughter is 13 months old, 24lbs and 32 inches tall and still has plenty of roomto grow into. The stroller has great storage space below and the handle is height adjustable. The only thing I don't really like is the upmost recline position is a bit to far back and seems uncomfortable for baby, the reason why I kept my Combi I-thru. Aside from that, I recommend it to anyone taking long walks in multiple types of terrain! This one can handle it all. Happy Strolling.

This stroller is, by far, my favorite piece of baby equipment that I own! I have a 10-week old daughter, and we have been jogging with this stroller almost every morning since she was 7 lbs. (I use a padded insert/headrest for her to lie in.) With the adjustable handlebar (essential for me, since I'm 5'0") and the front swivel wheel, this stroller is comfortable to use and can be easily steered with one hand while jogging, without losing any stability or control. I have never felt the need to lock the front wheel while jogging. The brake bar in quick to deploy and easy to use, and the basket underneath is roomy. I don't think the recline is too steep, but since my daughter is still so young I don't know how she will sit with the recline when she is bigger.
br /
br /I have to disagree strongly with the reviewers who commented that the sunshade is large enough. In fact, the reason I am giving this stroller 4 stars instead of 5 is because the umbrella shade is fixed to the frame and isn't very large, so it doesn't shield very well if the sun isn't almost directly overhead. I almost always have to use clothespins to drape a towel over the front and sides of the stroller to block out the sun.
br /
br /Overall though, this stroller is a fabulous buy and performs just as well as some of the high-end strollers, at less than half the price!

LOVE IT!

I purchased the Schwinn Free Wheeler Jogging Stroller mainly because it had rear wheel suspension and a swivel front wheel. I wanted easy maneuverability, but needed a stroller that would travel nicely on various terrains. I do not jog, but love to walk on trails. Since purchasing I've used it on a bumpy, rocky, trail through the woods (with the front wheel locked), on hard road, in grass, and plan on using it on gravel trails at a nearby state park. My 11-month-old really enjoys the variety of places I can take him with the Schinn. I've had no problem with the seat being too reclined, as other customers have stated. I adjusted the strap as far as it can go, and my baby is able to see very well. I really like the adjustable canapy for protection against sun and wind. The clear panel in the canapy is great because it allows me to see my baby. The adjustable handlebar is nice too, because I'm 5'3", and my husband is 6'4". Folding the stroller is easy, and it takes up no more room than our previous Baby Trend stroller (not a jogging stroller). The front wheel folds underneath for easy storage without having to remove it. Assembly was simple, but I had a little difficulty interpreting the instructions. The only thing I wish it had was a folding cover/lid on the parent tray, so items in there would not be in the open. Several friends have different jogging strollers, and I think mine far surpasses all of there's. I would highly recommend it!

We love this stroller. I checked out a whole bunch on line, along with ones that my friends already owned and ones that were available at one of our local and over-priced baby stores. I also spoke with the people at the Schwinn/In-Step company before buying, and it had all the features that they promised. The best thing about it is the swivel canopy. You can unsnap it and drop it down in front of baby when the sun is coming in from the front so baby doesn't get it in his eyes. The second best thing is the swivel wheel in front. When walking, you can unlatch it and the front wheel turns freely. When running, lock it into place for safety and control. For the price, this stroller can't be beat. (Easy assembly, too.)

I looked at the more expensive jogging strollers such as baby jogger, and BOB. I could not afford to spend 300+ dollars on a stroller.
br /This jogging stroller had everything I needed for an affordable price.
br /Plus it comes with a padded seat, toy tray, and a cup holder for your drinks. The more expensive strollers you would have to pay extra for these features. I would highly recommend this stroller.

I purchased this jogger a few months ago and now that the weather is warm I am really getting alot of use out of it and have some feedback to share.
br /The pros of this stroller are:
br /
br /1. Large sunshade that can be adjusted very well to block the sun.
br /2. It seems to be very comfortable for my daughter, we started using it when she was 3 months old and she seemed very cozy and secure in it. My five year old, who is 38 lbs and 46 inches can also ride in it fairly comfortably when she is tired.
br /3. The seat adjusts from almost fully reclined to sitting.
br /4. You can actually store a decent amount of stuff in the basket.
br /5. The swivel wheel and large air filled tires make it a dream to push around and minimize bumps.
br /6. Very easy to engage and disengage the foot brake.
br /7. It has very nice parent and child trays that are removable.
br /
br /Cons:
br /1. My less expensive, double jogger had a handbrake on the handle that could be used to slow the stoller on steep hills, this stroller does not have a brake. It only has a foot brake to use when you are completely stopped so the stroller doesn't roll away.
br /2. There is no mesh in the stoller to increase airflow and might get very hot in warm weather.
br /3. It folds easily, but there is no latch to keep it folded and it opens as you are trying to take it out of the car.
br /4. Even when folded, it will not fit in the cargo area of my Caravan unless I remove the wheels - it is rather bulky.
br /
br /Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and I am sure we will get alot of use out of it. Luckily the trails we hike are mostly within walking distance from our home and we don't have to try to transport this stroller often.

I love this stroller!!!

I really like this stroller. I haven't ever used any of the higher end strollers, so I can't compare it to those. When it came it took me about 5 minutes to have it together and figured out. Very user friendly! I did have to slime the tires cause on our first outing I had a gob of goat heads in the tires and they went flat. But that was not the strollers fault. Overall, this is a fantastic stroller! I also want to mention that I use it for a 3 year old and I do not have a problem with the recline. It seems fine for him when I pull the adjustment strap tight. Maybe if it were an infant it could be a problem, but for us it works awesome!

I bought this jogger after researching many brands and "test driving" several at the store. I decided on this stroller because of the price and positive reviews. I have been using it since my daughter was 4 months old and she loves it! We go on long walks and sometimes short jogs on bumpy terrain and sidewalks. It seems to be very comfortable for her (she falls asleep every time, whether we are on smooth roads or extremely bumpy trails). It is not very compact when folded down, but still fits in the back of my SUV for the times we want to drive to trails. I love having a place to store my keys, cell phone, and sunglasses in the parent tray. The front swivel wheel seems to work well in either position for me. Like I mentioned above, I use it on long bumpy walks and have done some light jogging with it and it steers fine. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of this stroller and would highly recommend it for anyone interested in getting a quality jogger for a reasonable price.

First jogging stroller purchased for our 18 mo old so we can start going on trails easier. Quality of this stroller is very good - aluminum frame with good welds at the joints. The wheels are alloy rims and the tires are wider than the rim for good road contact as well as trail use. It runs very smoothly, no problems with the front wheel. Bottom basket is decent size, supported by a cantilever arm so I wouldn't load it up too much. The seat is good sized and to clarify what I had read in so many reviews, the seat DOES ADJUST UPRIGHT. Meaning, there is a pull strap on the back that allows the seat to go from almost reclining flat to about 75-80 degrees. Works fine for us, little one looks comfy in the seat. I think others have had problems possibly because their child was too small for the seat? Anyway, because I was concerned about this being stated so many times, the seat does sit upright. Also, the child sits deep back in the seat which may make it more difficult for the little ones to sit upright. I think it makes it safer if you're moving fast, basically the little one it surrounded on both sides by the frame and fabric quite well. The baby tray has a nice quick release so it can go on/off quickly too.
br /Overall great quality and great value.

Product Description - my comments
br /* Reclining seat - Its really a lace that you can adjust yourself at any level
br /* Extra thick padded seat- Its really not, as other recommend, I added my own padding
br /* One hand fold - it still takes me both hands to fold.
br /* Under seat storage basket - as others say, the basket looks as it will fall down. I really don't know why it is not re-enforced.
br /* Rear parent storage pouch - although it might be the same size as a folder, it is also as thin as a folder. May be difficult for people with large hands.
br /
br /Overall, stroller is light to push/maneuver. If I could, I would: add a hand break, re-enforce storage basket, and a lid to the parents' tray.

This stroller is great for rough terrain and steer's great but it's a little big for store's and smaller isle's. If your looking just for a jogger it's nice but one down side is that it recline's pretty far back even adjusted all the way up so my son is constantly pulling himself up so he can see out. I dont think I would reccomend this to a friend.

It rolls extremely well, very quiet and very maneuverable. When my four month old was in it, it went over speed bumps and rough terrain very gently and she liked to stay in it. The sun shade was not big enough to really block the sun or rain and it didn't quite stay in the position you wanted it to. In general it's easy to operate but after you fold it it doesn't stay on the ground very well and tends to fall. It's also quite heavy for me to carry, though my husband doesn't complain about the weight. It doesn't fit into my 99 camry trunk easily. My husband often needs to take out one wheel and try to squeeze it in with some force. So far I haven't used it by myself yet but it works great for family outings. If you're a petite female and has to carry your baby out a lot, I'll definitely take the weight and how it fits into your car into serious consideration and that's why I give it four stars.

I have really enjoyed using this stroller with my five month old daughter. She is comfortable in any position. This is a lightweight, easy to assemble product that I can fit in the trunk of my mid-sized car. There is no hand break and the straps could use more padding, but otherwise this is a really great buy. We take the stroller everywhere - trails, on the road, to the mall, etc.

I purchased the stroller about a month ago and have used it several times, mostly for walking. It handles well and goes with minimal effort. You do need to make sure to engage the footbrake when stopping, because the stroller has no rolling resistance (which is good when you're on the move). My son, almost 1 year, sits comfortably in the stroller. The sun shade provides good coverage and has a little window, so you can check in on the little one. The basket provides all the room I need and things stay in there. The adult tray leaves something to be desired, everything bounces around in there, but that isn't really important to me. The front wheel swivels or locks in place for jogging. The swivel wheel rocks and saves your arms a lot of work walking around the neighborhood or on a trail. Overall, I think it is a great value and quality.

I only wish I had purchased it sooner!

I have wanted a jogger stroller for a couple of years now. My budget was tight, but there are plenty of options out there. I read every product review, recommendation, tip out there to maximize my dollar power. The stroller arrived and was a breeze to put together. I compared it to my older, worn down four-wheeled stroller and there wasn't much difference in size. My three-year-old is average in size, and fits in the seat fine. The adjustable handlebars are a new luxury for our family! When the handlebars are put into the lowest position, I feel even more compact in stores. It's a very smooth ride due to the 16" tires. The swivel wheel makes for the easiest turns and battling high curbs.
br / What keeps me from rating a five-star for this jogger-stroller:
br /*When front wheel is locked it pulls to the right, despite adjustments.
br /*Seat lacks support-much like an umbrella stroller seat. The large bar could grow uncomfortable after long time in stroller.
br / So I will consider additional padding for my daughter, if it proves to be a signifigant problem. My jogging is light, currently, and often on curving neighborhood streets so I assume that the pulling won't affect me terribly.
br / I use this stroller for walking, jogging, and grocery shopping. I can't fit many items in the undercarriage "basket", so I have purchased a cooler with a messenger strap to put over the handlebars. That added only $20 to the already low price of the this jogger stroller.
br / Overall, a great stroller for the price! You have to accept some compromises when you shop for economy strollers and so far these are small compromises! Recommend, fo'sho'!

Absolutely love it!

I purchased this after careful review of all affordable jogging strollers with a swivel wheel. I usually only walk so it was a must for me. I know that some reviews say that it doesn't fold flat. But after you fold it, push the back of the seat forward and it pretty much flattens out and kind of hooks so it doesn't spring open. It fits in the trunk of my 1994 Corolla! Very smooth handling and we don't hurt our backs pushing since the handle is adjustable. We didn't have any trouble putting it together and no parts were missing. I am going to try the extra padding for my son's comfort but he has never complained and loves going for walks in it. I don't care for the cup holder so I put my water bottle in the nice large basket. We took it to a cruise in and walked around on bumpy ground and gravel. So smooth! I highly recommend this jogger!

While not really for the serious runner, this stroller is a great compromise for the casual runner or jogger. Serious joggers have a fixed front wheel that makes the stroller difficult to use for other things. And thay often cost a lot more.
br /
br /It's well made and easy to use. We really like the large canopy that can swing all the way forward or back. It's our only stroller and we use it for jogging (2-3 miles/day) as well as general use.

Easy to maneuvre, wife loves it

This is great for streets and trails. We have not yet taken it to a mall, but it should work great there too. It is highly maneuverable and should get through the aisles with no problem. The back recline is adjustable so even an infant can be made to sit properly.

Love it!!!

I love this jogger, it's lightweight and easy to maneuver. It folds down neatly and my baby loves it! I wish he could sit more upright in it, I have found the tray obstructs his view since he can't sit straight up, but there isn't much space to put items in the tray anyway, and we are ok without it, so I removed it. We clip small toys to the frame (so he can't throw them out the side) and that does just fine. I like the larger canopy, though I wish the bottom storage compartment were a little bit larger. But we use it to work out and go to the park, and not for really long day trips, so it fits our needs perfectly. Well worth the money! I get a lot of compliments on this stroller too, you don't need to spend $400 for a BOB!

Which designer thought the recline on this stroller was ok?

I have had this stroller for ONE day and I'm going to send it back or sell it. I am so disappointed. I was so excited for this to arrive. We set it up...instructions were a little shady here and there, and I try and adjust the seat. I have the strap pulled ALL THE WAY BACK and my two year old looks like he is almost laying down. He HATES it. He is a very happy kid and loves to ride in his stroller. He was miserable because he couldn't sit up and look around, plus the tray was at such a weird angle in relation to the seat angle that he couldn't even see the Cheerios on the tray from his angle! His Playtex sippy couldn't fit into the small hole for a drink in the kids tray, and my water fell out over and over again from the parents tray. The construction is great, the fabrics are nice....overall I could have given it five stars, but the seat positioning is SO extreme that it makes my son start to cry....that makes it a really crummy purchase. If you are wondering about which one to buy, DO not buy this one unless your kid loves looking at the sky all through your walks!

I just had this stroller for a week.
br /I have only one complain: when I received it, I was disappointed because, what I received was not the new- original package. The package look like someone return it. And when I open it, i can see some dirty space below the basket.
br /I would hope they give me a brand new stroller.... that what I paid right?
br /
br /But I still keep the stroller. First because I needed it. Second, I hate to send back and forth. And third, he stroller is very light and great for me.

This stroller is a great light weight jogging stroller. It handles beutifully and steers great with the wheel lock on or off. The only problem I have found is with the cup holders, which has been commented on my others. The cup holer for the child is very small and will only handle a water bottle that I found at Wal-mart. The adult cup holder is too shallow for any kind of water bottle, it falls out on every turn. I would totally recomment this stroller to anyone looking for a jogging stroller.

I really love this stroller! It was very easy to put together! My daughter loves riding in it, and she has never liked riding in strollers before. The only problem I have had was when my stroller arrived, all three tires where flat. When I went to pump them up, I noticed that all three tires had been "slashed". I just had to go down to Walmart to get new inner tubes, so it didnt bother me to much.

Love it

We have been abusing... OOOPS I mean "using" this stroller for a week now... We are on the go kind of people, and part of the "on the go" life style includes a lot of nature walks... We have taken this stroller on pavement (even and not), up steep dirt roads, over very uneven early spring dried marsh lands and this stroller has not failed us! It has kept our baby safe and happy... It is light and easy to manuver... It is a larger stroller, and fits well (with lots of space into the trunk of our Grand Prix SE... TOP RATINGS ALL THE WAY.

I've had this stroller for a few months now and I have no complaints about it. It's very comfortable to use when jogging or walking. Easy to get on the sidewalk or off. There is a water bottle holder for me and one for the baby. It's also comfortable for my husband who is about 6 feet tall.

Overall very satisfied. Had a similar stroller by babytrend, front wheel broke first time I tried to run with it (fell out of allignment, could not be fixed.) The schwinn is a bit larger though, very wide rear wheel base, however very easy to use; I take it on uneven trails and areas with many curbs and have never had a problem! Some reviews didn't like the seat angle, I think it is easy to adjust, I have a 4 month old and she can see what is going on around her. One thing the babytrend had that the schwinn doesn't is a lock/hold switch? once it's folded to keep it from opening when you move it.

I love this jogger stroller. I bought this stroller for walking and jogging around an urban area. It is perfect for just that. I am also 5'11" and my husband is 6' and we both can push this stroller very comfortably without any strain on our back or shoulders. It handles great and is easy to push on grass and bumpy sidewalks. I haven't tried pushing it on the beach yet, but I am sure it will handle great. I love the canopy, it protects my 4 month old from the sun with little effort on my part. My 4 month old seems to really like the seat and doesn't complain at all when we go for a ride. I love that the wheel can be changed from swivel to jogging with just a little switch. It is a little bulky but I think most jogger strollers are. I have an SUV and have no problem storing it in the back. But I do recommend using a regular stroller for mall shopping and etc. and using this one just for jogging or walking. I think it would be a pain to push through a store. It is definitely worth the price. I am a very happy customer.

We're very happy with our Schwinn Jogger so far. In contrast to our Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe, the Schwinn maneuvers very well over the loose gravelly sidewalks and rocky landscape that are ubiquitous in Arizona. My 4 month-old son seems very comfy in the stroller and takes great naps on our walks. I do wish it had a latch to keep it collapsed (for ease of carrying it). Other than that, it's not any heavier than our other stroller, and much more versatile. Storage is adequate, though my water bottle has bounced out of the parent cup holder on rough terrain. Love the adjustable height handle and swivel/stationary wheel option. No problems so far with the seat not sitting up far enough (like the other reviews have stated). We are happy.

This is an excellent stroller for the price. We've taken it everywhere and it cruises over all of it without any problems. There is good coverage from the sun. Easy to operate foot brake. Lots of room for a growing baby. It is easy to steer due to the revolving front wheel which can be locked if necessary. I always feel sorry for people I see with the fixed three wheel strollers. Those things cant turn...

I purchased this stroller for my husband to use - but I am trying to take it back for my own use! Folding is easy, but takes two hands. The brake sets and releases with ease and it stears like a dream. My rather tall 2 year old is very comfortable when sitting in it; however, he would prefer sitting more upright. I have tightened the seat adjustment strap as far as I can, but he still is reclined a bit too much. I think I can modify it if I just take the time. The only negative I have found is that it won't fold flat enought to fit in the trunk of my Grand Prix. It is light enough for me to lift it into the back of my husband's truck, and would fit nicely in the rear of a SUV or mini-van. Overall, we are extremely pleased with our purchase!

br /The only thing that I don't like is that the seat cannot recline or can be made straighter. My husband tried to work something out, but the thing is that the manufacturer haven't thought about it.

unfortunately i didn't see the reviews at the bottom of the page before purchasing this jogger. i also live in hawaii which makes returning it an enormous inconvenience. i hate that the parent tray does not have a lid as the baby trend and safety first ones do. i hate that the bottom storage basket is not well supported. i hate that the extra storage pocket can only hold a manila folder it is so worthless. i HATE that the foot rest at the bottom is rounded so my 3 year old cannot sit on it and hitch a ride like she could on our older model. the seat IS way too deep as many have commented on, but i remedy that by putting a folded towel under my daughter. otherwise i love the material it is made of - it is a 'nylonish' wipeable clean up material and aluminum frame- the babytrend is more compact but made of steel so it rusts also the swivel wheel option on the babytrend sucks - it vibrates badly so you always have to lock the wheel. i am living with my schwinn jogger i just WISH the foot rest was flat so my daughter could still hitch rides. i would go for a mall cruiser jogger if you are looking for something a little more compact.

I read all the reviews and decided to buy this stroller as I didnt want to spend too much money on it. When I got it I was so disappointed.
br /pros:
br /the basket in the bottom is nice and large
br /
br /cons:
br /
br /-it is too big and bulky
br /-it doesnt close all the way down
br /-the swivel makes tons of noise and locks into a straight position on its own because its so cheaply made.
br /-the tray is useless as the child doesnt sit up enough to reach it.
br /-its super flimzy and it feels like it is going to fall apart any minute.
br /
br /I returned this right away and bought a BOB revolution... WOW!!!!!!! what a difference. IT IS DEFINETELY WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!!! I love my BOB :)
br /
br /Save the time and some extra money and buy a BOB instead!

The only reason I am rating this stroller a 1 is Amazon has it listed that is usable for a child up to 100 pounds. It actually is only 50 pounds. It is now being returned.
